I haven't seen NOKJ yet. From the trailer, I saw a bit of Rani's performance. Just by using swear words, flipping people off, or being edgy does not make you a good actor. I'm looking forward to Vidya's role more because she's playing a real person and she has maintained the look of the real person she is portraying. When I saw Vidya in the trailer, I forgot that I was watching Vidya and instead saw her as Sabrina. That's acting- getting fully immersed in your character.

I always had the impression that Kajol is more fond of her mother than father, since she is always seen with Tanuja. And since she never used her father's last name- Mukherjee. Idk, maybe I'm speculating. So they're not as close.

My favorite episode this season! It was fun and entertaining. Rani and Vidya seem to share great chemistry, which is rare to see among BW actresses. KwK has been a little dull this season, but this episode was great! Thanks for sharing!

@sweetgalforreal I agree, but it seems like Kajol is consistently like that. She says what she's thinking and her fun and loud personality comes across every time she is on the show. Rani seemed much more open in this episode than in previous ones. But I guess its a matter of perspective. When Rani and Kajol were on together, Rani looked composed, compared to Kajol. Here, compared to Rani, Vidya looked composed. EIther way, they're both great actresses and they're clearly having a good time!

@shahrukhrocksz Maybe. Veer Zaara is a classic in my eyes, so its hard for me to picture anyone else as Zaara but Preity. Just my opinion. Rani did very well as Saamiya, which was actually a more powerful/ dynamic character in the film. Rani should be grateful that she was in Veer Zaara in the first place, though. I believe the role of Saamiya was originally written for Aishwariya Rai. Thats what Ash said in an interview with Simi Garewal.

@LiveLoveMusic88 a lot of women were approached for Saamiya Siddique role too, and Priety's luck always works everywhere for example for Kal Ho Naa Ho, Kareena was the first actress, then for VZ,Zaara's role was offered to bare heroines in the film industry but they really wanted the pakistani actress Reema, because she had a look of a Muslim girl not only this Karisma Kappor was offered the role of Zaara too. And i really think Rani doesn't need YRF banner shes got a brighter future

@shahrukhrocksz I think Rani played the role of Saamiya very well, the character suited her. What I don't like about Rani is that she seems to think that she is the only one SRK looks good with, or any other actor for that matter. When Hrithik and Sussane were on the show last week, Rani said to Hrithik (in the recorded message at the end of the show) that she and Hrithik should be paired together in another movie. Personally, I don't think that would work at all. Hrithik looks much younger.

@shahrukhrocksz Besides the brilliant acting, I thought Priety looked the part of Zaara more. The way they colored her hair lighter and did her makeup, I personally thought she was more convincing as a Pakistani character. Regardless, I loved the movie. This is all just my opinion. Its like if someone said what if Dharmendra & Amitabh switched roles in Sholay. It might work, but why mess with something that's a classic? Those are my thoughts on Rani's comment on switching characters with Preity.
