Someone with good proficiency in flash could easily achieve these these steps in about the same time as it takes to do them in them in TBS. Also the part where he says "in flash you must repaint each zone manually" (0:20) is a blatant lie.
All you have to do is paint with solid colored bitmap swatches instead of the regular color pallet, when you update the color of the bitmap, any object in the movie that uses that color is automatically updated.
@flashfilmmaker No what you described has never worked in any version of Flash (I've used them all since 1999). You can do a Find and Replace for color now, but that doesn't work with Gradients. It does for a solid color, but it'll change every color too.
The point of the Color Palette in Animate is that you can really fine tune what colors go with which characters. AND you can also make mass changes to a set of colors. Like darken 8 colors at once, to give your character a night feel.
They say the more challenging it is, the more fun it gets so I'll pick up the one that is challenging even learning it.

@ToonBoomAnimation animate is the better animator, but flash has interactivity, which blows animate out of the ring.

@Kyorere1 Animate is designed by animators for animators and purposedly does not include scripting for interactivity.
