i dont think audi was going for a off road vehicle, but a vehicle that could handle, and be capable off tricky terrian and still have the "audi" feel....get a landrover if u want off road and luxury

@quaresmasbiggestfan the x5,probably,but defantly not the gl,the mercedes has an optional low range range transfer case,and center and rear electronic diff locks.

Audy Q7 is a expesive car .... about 80.000 $ in my country....it`s a luxury car , i don`t recomand it for offroad [ Hummer 1 and Mitsubshi Pajero - Best Offroad 2006 or 2007 will do the job]

the quattro system is one of the best if not THE best 4wd system in the world, if audi wanted to make the best off road car in the world they probaly could , but i agree this isnt it, too heavy and not enough ground clearance, landcruiser, pajero and landrover defender are currently the best.
