A much easier way is to get idownload, then go to google a search for your PDF and then once it's downloaded just go to files and choose "open in other apps" then choose iBooks. No hassle. Btw she should definitely cut her nails to operate her iPod. It gets a little annoying tapping the wrong box because of them. Oh yes...and it's called tapping, not clicking.

@Arieberry909 Try searching for these books on 4shared.com or mediafire. For mediafire just google the title of the book with "mediafire" before it. I recommend 4shared though.

You don't need to be jail broken to do this. As long as your iOS device is running iOS 4 or later when you click on any PDF file of safari a message will prompt on the top asking if you want to open it with iBooks. Try it!
