i guess depends on what type of player you are, but ff13 definitely takes more than 40 hours to complete also what about new vegas on survival mode? that game would easily take more than a day to complete the main story and nothing else.

It is the stupidest fucking game I have ever played. Ignore what everyone else is telling you. IT'S GARBAGE. The controls suck, both on foot and in the air. The game is annoying, and goes from both too easy to too hard in a blink of an eye. It relies not on skill but on mini-game button mashing to beat the bosses. It is so fucking gay it hurts me. If you hate yourself please by all means play this unpolished turd game. I have never had less fun in my life. Hanging with grandma is more fun!!!!!!!
The controls are sluggish, the story is lackluster and ends without true resolution, the graphics are nice but who cares when there is nothing behind it? This game is truly a 3 out of 10. ehh on PC the controls were fairly difficult flying, graphics aside from the dynamic light rays (finally a game other an crysis an far cry 2 to impliment those...and maybe the the reaction the textures get to lighting (at a distance because the resolution on them wasn't very pretty either)
and with a 260gtx an intel quad core when i incurred with alot of those robots on the first level, I lagged to like 9fps, however that may be just my computer as I dont see much on google about it.

hitman gives you limited freedom to choose from 3-4 preset methods of operation, nowhere close to complete freedom, i've played just cause and that game is GTA with a grapple hook. not very much freedom, if you don't do stuff the way you're supposed to it usually doesn't work. although crysis is like this as well. and as far as I'm concerned you could have made up thief and if you didn't I doubt theres very much freedom. and you still only answered one question.

THe Far Cry AI simply spots you anywhere you are when visible.
You can approach from 900 yards and people with handguns wills tart shooting at you and they all centralize around you position. That is not good AI but lazy programming. I played both games.
I never said far cry you're fucking retarded. and far cry's AI will only attack if you're in clear vision or if you attack while hidden, and you have the option to dissapear and they'll search the area for you. and the only part of conviction where you can't just free froam is the first mission, which makes sense. and around the end of the game you enter a place where you can't return afterwards but this only lasts for two main storyline missions, you're free to explore in anywhere.

Like if someone says "ww w" followed by a dot and then a link etc it will detect it and filter it out. all other comments are only filtered by users that press the "Flag for spam" Which has a very simple function it just adds a flag to the comment when a comment get over a certain amount of flags it gets removed.

@ledZeppelin7680 Basically the developers call Splinter Cells Convictions world Sandbox, but it is no different from the other games. You progress on a linear story, mission per mission and you can't go back and revisit other locations for scenic viewing.
That is not sandbox. It's a developer not knowing what a sandbox is and a sales-pitch. Basically Conviction is still based around strictly linear missions, target is here make your way here and exterminate.

Mark and Execute is not INNOVATIVE, it's ripping of Rainbow Six.
Remember? Optic cable under the door, tag tag, bag bag.
The only innovative thing is Conviction is the Last Shadow system where you see a shadow where the enemy thinks you are.
For the rest it's just action, guns blazing never thinking but just press button.

Well in order:
Just Cause 2(basically the most open ended sandbox EVER, anything can happen, lot of WTF moments in demo)
Hitman (do you missions anyway you want there are at any time at least 4 stealth options and 4 offensive options)
Thief 1 and 2 (exploring your environment rewarded you with loot)
These 3 games basically do what your "Innovative" game does now.
Besides that Conviction is NOT a sandbox. It's mission based environments like Chaos theory.

hitman gives you limited freedom to choose from 3-4 preset methods of operation, nowhere close to complete freedom, i've played just cause and that game is GTA with a grapple hook. not very much freedom, if you don't do stuff the way you're supposed to it usually doesn't work. although crysis is like this as well. and as far as I'm concerned you could have made up thief and if you didn't I doubt theres very much freedom. and you still only answered one question.

I answered only a few questions because your other questions were linked to Sandboxing. Conviction is not a sanbox. So even answering those question would not have helped because Conviction could not have lived up tot them anyway.
I said Just Cause 2 (The sequel), Hitman basically answered 2 of your questions (question 2 and 5).
Crysis and Army of 2 did Not have GOOD AI. I don't know how you define GOOD AI.

Conviction is a mission based game just like Double Agent, Chaos Theory, Pandora Tomorrow and the original Splinter Cell.

Good AI is AI that detects you when you are visible.
THe Far Cry AI simply spots you anywhere you are when visible.
You can approach from 900 yards and people with handguns wills tart shooting at you and they all centralize around you position. That is not good AI but lazy programming. I played both games.

I never said far cry you're fucking retarded. and far cry's AI will only attack if you're in clear vision or if you attack while hidden, and you have the option to dissapear and they'll search the area for you. and the only part of conviction where you can't just free froam is the first mission, which makes sense. and around the end of the game you enter a place where you can't return afterwards but this only lasts for two main storyline missions, you're free to explore in anywhere.

The AI undergoes basically no change between games, and even got worse in Far Cry 2.
How do you know how Conviction's Missions are? Are you a developer? Have you an illegal copy of the not yet to be released Beta? No you have and are none of the above. So you know nothing, however Editors working for game magazines who have played it say it's no sandbox.

3: There is no BETA, it was supposed to be released January 2010 but it got pushed back, if you mean a Demo at an event/convention/gameshow than that is possible if you can tell me which even to you went to.
4: You never played Thief, you thought it never existed it's 12 years old and basically defined stealth.

2:I wasn't at an event, however. for the past two years I've been trying to become a tester for either EA, bethesda or Ubisoft. after trying so hard for two years I finally got added to the list of the 35,000 testers for ubisoft, so I got the beta about 2 months ago.

As a tester you would have to sign a non-disclosure contract valid until release. I have done some testing in my live and have always had to sign these contracts.

each mission contains a world about as big as the middle island on GTA IV, at least that's what it seems like. maybe some are smaller than others. when did I say ''I NEVER SIGNED ANY CONTRACT!'' but I don't recall signing anything persay but I had to agree to an abundance of terms of use, and provide information I've allready provided before. and I think I know what you mean, in massive bold letters it said I'm not allowed to share any information obtained during the play through.

unfortunately everyone who's played the beta experienced a bug where whenever the AI used agressive force on anyone they would immediately become aware of you. which is why both the comercial beta and release got delayed. other than that the beta was great. and as for thief, it's clearly not very popular. I'm aware of allot of old games and I've never heard of thief, and whether or not you think it's good, it's not fact, it's opinion.

I just signed up and applied once every week untill they accepted. and as soon as I heard about conviction I signed up to test it and at the time there were only like 200 people signed up so it was easy. I think you don't fully understand what I'm saying. I don't get paid to be a tester, certain publishers allow people to test the games out for glitches and errors. these testers are just people who are eager to play the game and obviously whilling to do it for free, although certain DEV teams hire professional testers for optimal intel on the game.pedaphilia is ilegal, however having sex with seniors isn't, so that's completely different.

Like if someone says "ww w" followed by a dot and then a link etc it will detect it and filter it out. all other comments are only filtered by users that press the "Flag for spam" Which has a very simple function it just adds a flag to the comment when a comment get over a certain amount of flags it gets removed.
And that's really all there is to it. So no he won't get in trouble for breaking some Ubisoft contract in a Youtube comment.

@ledZeppelin7680 Basically the developers call Splinter Cells Convictions world Sandbox, but it is no different from the other games. You progress on a linear story, mission per mission and you can't go back and revisit other locations for scenic viewing.
That is not sandbox. It's a developer not knowing what a sandbox is and a sales-pitch. Basically Conviction is still based around strictly linear missions, target is here make your way here and exterminate.

I played the beta for conviction and It was massive, I could roam around freely but there was no point because there's nothing to do, perhaps this will change when the game is actually released, and maybe that's what the delay is for but it is in no way linear, you're just ignorant and you base your opinion on game on it's predacessor.
