There actually is a connection here. Cell phone signal to and from cell/elf towers (also used for crowd, mind, behavior and weather control). You wonder what took the National Guard so long to get 2 New Orleans after Katrina? They were gifting (with orgonite) the cell phone/elf towers. I actually saw droves of the National Guard parked along the interstate roadsides when I was going to Florida afterwards.Weaponized weather is REAL and scary.

Second, I have been an active cell phone user for nine years and I don't think that me having a phone has contributed to war, natural disasters or the increase in spiders the least. While yes, it IS expensive and I believe people sometimes spend far to much for their phones, that is another story and has to do with self-control.
