But the Marines, Navy, Army, Navy Seals, Coast Guard, and the (National Guard maybe) train with paint ball, rubber bullets, and this thing called "Simunition" (The Air Force I don't know, I have few friends and family there). I have trained (and failed) with most branches of the U.S. Military.
And paintball I can see, but rubber bullets I know are used only for the more intense groups in the military, such as the SEALS, considering without body armor they can do some serious damage, as they are also largely used for riot control.
And OF COURSE I've heard of "The Battle of the Black Sea", I have an old school teacher/ friend that fought there and in Operation Desert Shield/ Desert Storm.

@KohoutekJimmy its burlap, go to your local crafts store and buy a few yards of it, or you can go to a hardware store and get that kind of burlap which is less tightly threaded and then you have to unthread all the strings from the burlap, until all you have are two large piles of individual string.
Hey you should spray paint your gun red tiger or blue tiger, or any of the camos from MW2. for the red/ blue tiger camo, get an xacto knife, print out a picture of "tiger print" on Google, and cut out the parts you want to be sprayed on your gun. First, spray your whole gun black. then, take your stencil and spray red/blue. after it dries, it looks like red/blue tiger. check out this channel for videos of spray painted nerf guns: TubeTimeMovies
hey man, nice but i think its a bit to neat, it might stick out a bit in a match, you might want to put less camouflage on it, and you may want to spray the plastic parts that shine matt black.(just so you know this is not criticism, just a bit of advise if you want to use it)
@MrAIRSOFTKNOWLEDGE yeah i realize that now, instead what i did now and what i use is i draped netting over my gun and secured it then tied burlap to it, and underneath the plastic netting are rubber bands that i can attach foliage to. the burlap is brown and tan. so you are in the british army? whats it like?

@mrmelonman27 no its not uncomfortable i made a new camo with rubber bands for foliage and burlap, and it helps more than hinders. It can be harder to see through the scope, but its an easy fix, or you can just get higher scope rings. the only birlap that affects the cocking mechanism is if any is put on the scope itself and drops down and gets caught in the mechanism.

Now I have plastic netting which i have hang about halfway to the ground and it goes from the tip of the gun to the bipod. then another piece just before the magazine. I then tie these pieces of net on, then attach a lot of burlap on. I also put rubber bands under the netting for foliage. these burlap pieces will not fall off.
@TheCobaltCrawfish that is really cheap for an airsoft gun. An expert player can easily spend $900 on custom guns. An any serious airsoft player doens't shop at big 5 or walmart either.
Are you 100% sure that the orange tip is mandatory? In many states (I scoured the laws of my state to make sure I knew everything about this) the orange tip is mandatory for selling and shipping, but is legal to be removed for use.
Even if it is illegal to paint or remove it in your state (I haven't heard of this before) I cover mine with a small piece of camo tape and colored in the tiny bit around the hole with marker. If ever have any problems, it can quickly be removed.

You can spray paint the orange tips and then get like bright orange tap and make like a little ring out of it and slide it onto the end when you're not playing so if coincidentally, a cop sees it, you still have an orange tip.

I took about 1 ft and a half long burlap strings and put them into several thick strands, then did a double square knot to tie them onto my gun, on the barrel and the scope. Have the knot on top of the barrel, not the bottom.
hey, nice job with the ghille on your sniper and i have a tip for the orange tip take a sharpie and color in parts of the tip so in some parts you can still see the orange. because i have an m16 airsoft and i colored in the whole orange tip and after while it wears off but just keep a little bit showing.
A really good idea is actually to get one of those nozzles for water baloons, then take the plastic piece off of the inside, and it fits perfectly for snipers. But thats a good idea for what you did.

Here is the law on the orange tip. When on an airsoft feild/paintball feild, it's COMPLETELY okay to have NO orange tip on your gun. It's only required to have an orange tip when TRANSPORTING the gun, in your car and such. Hope that helped
I would say my top 3 are Airsplat for cheap ones, shorty for overall quality, an d evike for having good quality, good prices, and the biggest selection of airsoft guns in the whole entire world! you have to check evike out for all your airsoft needs.
Dude, there is no actual LAW that says you need an orange tip, or they would make silencers like mine orange! They just emphasise it cause ur gonna get SHOT if u don't have an orange tip or gunbag. BTW, where do u play?
it does yes, but i have medium profile scope rings because my high ones broke. High profile rings would be the best to have, that way it does not get obstructed. even with my medium profile ones, in the lowest zoom, it only fogs up or blurs about 1/6 of the bottom part of the scope and that can be fixed with high profile ones. It does not affect the gun in a big way at all.
Well you can spray paint your orange tip. If you do what I do. If you only take your guns to airsoft events where they allow to have no orange tips then your good. The only thing that sucks is that your cant shoot in town once you cover it. I still have an orange tip on mine but I will soon cover it once I get it professionally spray painted. My uncle's friend is a real sniper for the military so we know how to properly paint it. Nice video though.
Well actually you do, but on that video I didn't show it. I put a small tube on the front of my gun so that you can only see the tip if its pointing right at you. And anyways its illegal to cover the orange tip. If you are sniping in a dirt-sand-woodland area where I play, a black gun is very easy to spot from a long distance. A ghillied one is almost impossible to see.
i am ghilling mine as I type... I have found that a cardboard tube at the end to cover the orange tip helps alot. It looks like a silencer and you can still see it for legal reasons but you can only see it if it is being directly aimed at you, and if it is they are dead.
this gun comes with a bipod, scope, speed loader, and sling off airsplat for 140 dollars. it goes about 450 fps. it is a sweet gun. i would definitely suggest using .25 bbs.

yea you take the two caps of the scope shoot a target 3-5 times and take the average of them all move the dials (ex. up and to the left/right) then change untill its on target.
pretty awesome, i play in cqb sometimes and there i can't use my sniper or my ghillie suit, i need to get an electric. so yeah i would suggest getting an electric as your first gun, by the company JG.
live i MA, and in my state its illegal to remove the tip since police cant tell the difference and people have almost been killed. so yeah, i am not going to that.
what you do is just go to any fabrric store and ask for any type of dye-i used only dark green because i got other burlap that was tan and brown so i didn't need to dye any other ones. just get some dye, out it in a bucket, mix it, and then put your burlp in and do whatever it says on the box. then let it sit for about 10 hours, or until its dry. make sure you get all the pieces of burlap totally dyed. if you have any more questions, fee free to ask. thanks. -Walkman1OldSchool1

Easier way is buy a cheap hunting camo t-shirt or jacket an exacto knife:
First cut a karge square out of the middle of the camo item then cut the squares edges into rectangles lay it on your gun then your done.

hey, nice job with the ghille on your sniper and i have a tip for the orange tip take a sharpie and color in parts of the tip so in some parts you can still see the orange. because i have an m16 airsoft and i colored in the whole orange tip and after while it wears off but just keep a little bit showing.

A really good idea is actually to get one of those nozzles for water baloons, then take the plastic piece off of the inside, and it fits perfectly for snipers. But thats a good idea for what you did.

yeah no problem. dude when you play next time find a tree and climb pretty high up into it and just snipe from there because you can see all the movement and people running around. ohh and i subbed.

Here is the law on the orange tip. When on an airsoft feild/paintball feild, it's COMPLETELY okay to have NO orange tip on your gun. It's only required to have an orange tip when TRANSPORTING the gun, in your car and such. Hope that helped

I would say my top 3 are Airsplat for cheap ones, shorty for overall quality, an d evike for having good quality, good prices, and the biggest selection of airsoft guns in the whole entire world! you have to check evike out for all your airsoft needs.

Dude, there is no actual LAW that says you need an orange tip, or they would make silencers like mine orange! They just emphasise it cause ur gonna get SHOT if u don't have an orange tip or gunbag. BTW, where do u play?

The manufacture or 3rd partie store HAS to sell the gun with an orange tip. u can do whatever the fuck u want with that tip once u get it though

it does yes, but i have medium profile scope rings because my high ones broke. High profile rings would be the best to have, that way it does not get obstructed. even with my medium profile ones, in the lowest zoom, it only fogs up or blurs about 1/6 of the bottom part of the scope and that can be fixed with high profile ones. It does not affect the gun in a big way at all.

Well you can spray paint your orange tip. If you do what I do. If you only take your guns to airsoft events where they allow to have no orange tips then your good. The only thing that sucks is that your cant shoot in town once you cover it. I still have an orange tip on mine but I will soon cover it once I get it professionally spray painted. My uncle's friend is a real sniper for the military so we know how to properly paint it. Nice video though.

Well actually you do, but on that video I didn't show it. I put a small tube on the front of my gun so that you can only see the tip if its pointing right at you. And anyways its illegal to cover the orange tip. If you are sniping in a dirt-sand-woodland area where I play, a black gun is very easy to spot from a long distance. A ghillied one is almost impossible to see.

i am ghilling mine as I type... I have found that a cardboard tube at the end to cover the orange tip helps alot. It looks like a silencer and you can still see it for legal reasons but you can only see it if it is being directly aimed at you, and if it is they are dead.

this gun comes with a bipod, scope, speed loader, and sling off airsplat for 140 dollars. it goes about 450 fps. it is a sweet gun. i would definitely suggest using .25 bbs.

yea you take the two caps of the scope shoot a target 3-5 times and take the average of them all move the dials (ex. up and to the left/right) then change untill its on target.

what you do is just go to any fabrric store and ask for any type of dye-i used only dark green because i got other burlap that was tan and brown so i didn't need to dye any other ones. just get some dye, out it in a bucket, mix it, and then put your burlp in and do whatever it says on the box. then let it sit for about 10 hours, or until its dry. make sure you get all the pieces of burlap totally dyed. if you have any more questions, fee free to ask. thanks. -Walkman1OldSchool1
