  • "I'll talk to the girls in the morning... they should bear children as soon as possible. And I'm the man for the job."

  • "Touch" Connors is a silly name for an actor. His real name was Touch Johnson!

  • Nice ass on Connors.

  • Lori Nelson is HOT!

  • Richard Denning--fine actor--good looking too--he should have been in more A movies...remember he was Deborah Karr's spurned husband in An Affair to Remember....always felt sorry for that character, hope he found a gal too.

  • 0:44 FALCON... punch?

  • The tagline for this should say "The day the world ened was the day there was no day"

  • naked,screaming, terror....i love it !

  • "Touch" Conners? (LOL!)

How about Mike Connors, as in "Mannix"?

  • Japanese title was "Atomic Monster and the Naked Woman" ...

  • "he did not know about the uninhibited exhibitionism of a striptease dancer"!

    Giggle!

  • Another of my Roger Corman great favorites

  • "I'll talk to the girls in the morning...they should bear children as soon as possible."

Uh...yeah, that oughtta solve the problem. Always does.

  • it watches women when their naked...

  • I have this movie on VHS mode. Love the flick.

    Mission Hills,Ca

  • my, but monsters weere chivalrous back then lol.

  • I've actually seen this movie!!

  • these are the best kind of movies

fire up the 420 pipe and forget about how fucked up reality is nowadays

  • "the girls?"

  • Sows how smart the aliens-they have good taste

  • Man, this movie scared the crap outta me when I was little, and it's still pretty creepy. I have to admit the monster was pretty terrible but it didn't have much screen time until the end anyway.

  • @DylanVanella : oh totally. I am old enough to remember the friday/saturday night "creature features" on TV in the early 1960s. My brother and I would eagerly wait every week for them. We would get Jiffy Pop and Cokes (in 6 oz. green bottles of course) and prepare to make a night of it. Then when the movies were over we would sleep with the lights on we were so scared out of our minds.

  • The day the world ended, thats still yet to come....MMMUUUAAAHHHHAAAA!!!

  • lol 0:44

  • "Touch" Conners? That rings a bell....

Didn't I see this movie on Mystery Science Theater 3000?

  • Touch Conners later became Mike Conners and starred on TV's Mannix (a detective show) in the late 60s and early 70s.

  • @mavericstud9 i know I do...

  • The Day the World Ended-i believe they made other versions of this movie

  • Richard Denning was also in Target Earth..he always got the babe.

  • The actor's name was "Touch"?

  • I didn't know hollywood did drugs back then.

  • Richard Denning was in the first 'Creature fromthe Black Lagoon' ... Lori Nelson was in the first of two sequels, "Revenge of the Creature."

  • I believe that if you check your references, you will find that this movie is based on actual events.

  • The only things scary about that movie was the production values and the acting

  • Is this some kind of joke?

    Fucking gorgeous!

  • 50's horror and SF are so funny nowdays :))

  • Is that the movie show that Elviria mistress of the night hosted? the show was called Chiller Theater here and came on Saturdays at 11:30 in the 70's. Maybe the elviria parts were syndicated for any local stations to play.

  • i remember watching this at midnight on the local creature feature show in the early '70s.

  • another roger corman classic! touch connors- a.k.a. mike connors- before his MANNIX DAYS! great stuff! russ.

  • They should bear children as soon as possible.... as he licked his lips.

  • best memory i have of this movie is looking thru an old monster book and seeing a studio pic of the pretty girl sitting on the monster's lap reading something like teen beat magazine. cute.

  • Great Trailer & Film One of my favorite Roger Corman Films I lean more on his 50's Sci-Fi then his 60's Poe Films with Vincent Price. Not to forget to mention Paul Blaisdell's Monster Suit is great he also played The Mutant too, Known as Marty.

  • touch connors, oh really

  • Very cool. Paul Blaisdell created some of the greatest/cheesiest 50's monsters.

  • Very cool 50's b-horror film. Thanks for posting.
