  • Same i agree, fair play to leinster, from munster man!

  • amazing drop goal!!!!!!!!!

  • redzer06 .was I talkin to u ..now get back in yo biscuit tin Ginger

  • So what we thinking for the Aviv. wthced a bit of Leicester this year and obviously all of Leinster. i really dont see Leinster having any worries in winning the match but Leicester will be well up for it and wont make it easy. But Leinster will pull through and will go on to win the title

  • @mrfloppyjoe

leicester are not the same team they were then. going by perfoprmance in the heneken so far id say ;einster should have it but flood is playing well. leicester have a big history in the heineken. wouldnt say its an easy game. just has the makings of an upset. there a good side but ill support my leinster through this one. close but a leinster win.

  • I from Munster and I just want to make a point. I think Leinster have a great team this year but have the fuckin shitest supporters in The world and for that reason I hope they get. Beaten in heineken cup

  • @ccobm speaking as a Leinster fan who is not a little rich boy from D4 there is nothing better than seeing you dickhead culchie cunts crawling home like rats, oh yea and good luck in the Amlin Challenge Cup while the big boys get the real trophies!

  • LEINSTER WOOOO :D X

  • @anisocoro Leinster isn't helped by the government you gobshite. The players contracts are paid by the IRFU, the ruling body of Irish rugby, the IRFU is just as private as the Leicester Board of executives. All money from Rugby in Ireland is channeled through to the IRFU where it is then distributed among the clubs.

  • Fair enough like, I thinnk leinster fans are entitled to the braggin rights for the year, im a Munster man, and think the rivalry is great, extremely healthy for the Irish team and adds an extra bit of entertainment for the fans! bring on an all Irish Heiny cup final 2010!

  • so glad leicester lost. they bloody win everything! I support Leinster anyways! :) x

  • W O'driscoll the best centre in the history.

  • i was there. what a great day. after 3 years we get to brag a bit. when or if we get eliminated from the cup this year we have to shut up about it. but till then.... LEINSTER!!! 30 - NIL. 30 NIL. 30 - NIL!!!

  • Personally I feel Munster fans are the best in club rugby.

  • im a ulster fan bt i must say they such and muster and leicester r class then connact r the worst team ever

  • holy shit,what a drop goal sexton!

  • was in graces in naas(hometown of tryscorer heaslip and opposing captain geordan murphy) for the match.thought the place was going to explode-a lot of pride in the place that day.had tickets for the final but had to give them up because i was in the middle of final year uni exams but graces was the next best place!

  • Congrats from munster, leinster.you kept it in ireland.

  • your the first munster supporter who hasnt said we didnt desrve it, cheers

  • and i think its gonna stay in ireland one way or another next year aswell.

  • @limerick321

traded places. you had the heineken. we had the magners. just swaped places. it'll come around again. to both teams. heres to Irish rugby getting better.

  • stan wright won that match 4 us...if he hadn't made that illegal tackle it would have been a certain try...

  • I seen on the internet that stan wright is leaving leinster is it true i hope not they should get rid of knoop.

  • Stan is staying. Might have been leaving but he's taken up a part time coaching role with Suttonians.

And you'll be happy to hear Knoop is being released, as is Brian Blaney. Jamie hagan, a young prop has gone to Connacht.

About five other academy players have moved to clubs in England or Munster.

Mal, Jakcman + Girv playing one more season and finally Gary Brown has retired.

  • only took us one attempt muahhahah one final one trophy

  • Sexton's drop is what dreams are made of!

  • What a year for Irish rugby! And considerings it only the 4th most popular sport.

  • after gaelic football, hurling and soccer?

  • best fuckin day evr , nevr seen all the playrs tht happy....unreal!!

  • how brilliant is sexton

  • Suppose they might shut up when ye have 2 European cups mate!!!! And strangely enuf Iv yet to meet a Munster fan as annoying as the Leinster fans. And you know thats true!!!!

  • Excellent! That should shut up the Munster fans for a while!

  • What are the chances of Munster fans ever shutting up?

  • ZERO chance!

  • And you complain about Munster fans... Oh the hypocrisy...

  • What hypocrisy?

  • You say that there is zero chance of Munster fans shutting up... Yet I dont see you guys taking the moral high ground and stop complaining and going on about how its great to shut them up...

  • Us Leinster fans usually have a bit more class about these sort of things but when you have just won the cup after all the abuse we had got from Munster fans about "Nancy boys etc..." you can forgive us just a bit.

  • So how does that make you any better than Munster fans... You may be entitled to it at this point in time, but back in 2006 before the Munster vs Leinster match, It was all about how Darce and Drico would dance around the Munster bogtrotters... So they were as entitled to slag Leinster about it. Heck even today on Setanta after the Munster Match, the panel were saying that Leinster are so far ahead in their organisation. Im not looking for an argument about it, I just want to make my point.

  • Just as in the match at Croke Park this year the pundits where not giving Leinster a chance. Leinster fans are not any better than Munster fans but before the Croke Park game there was always an implied perception from certain quarters that Munster were the true spirit of what it meant to be Irish and that Leinster were some sort of West-Brits who are hollow inside. As a Leinster supporter I am just a proud an Irishman as any Munster fan! We may just have a different way of showing it!

  • I dont want to go beyond this following idea, but I have no doubt there are devoted Leinster supporters, I even know some. But the past few years, it has been the case where the Munster supporters were real rural people, truly loving of the sport, and the majority of Leinster supporters have been D4 pretty boys,as for now,I dont know how it stands, seeing as Leinster have just won the Heineken and supporters are pouring out of the woodwork and seeing as there are so many fake Munster supporters.
