This was by far the best match played by brazilian team on WC 1990, but unfortunately they were unable to score. Brazil could be with 2 or 3 goals ahead. Of course this video is biased. If Romario was in good conditions Brazil could win this match easily, but Argentina showed their hearts on the entir WC90, the only good skill they had on occasion.
Although it shouldn't surprise anyone, the American commentary here is awful. At 3:48 the Brazilian defender makes what is clearly a very good tackle. One commentator then starts suggesting it should be a penalty, and the other says it isn't because it should have been offside despite the Argentinians never been less than three or four yards onside. Their trying to call the sending off is pretty funny too.

Argentina fans are too much. Diego went on television and ADMITTED that they tranqued Branco. But still, they wax poetic about how much of a hero he was in this match. This is only game Diego won against Brazil. EVER. And he needed his technical staff to dope the guy who was marking him (oh yes, Branco was left-back) to do it. How you can call that magic is beyond me. In fact, the only sorcerer was the guy who concocted Branco's tranquilizer coctail. Props to him I guess.
