@Dmoneylittrell it is called a harmonic. you just barely touch the string as you pluck it.. if you are just wanting to learn how to do them i would suggest starting on the twelfth fret. it is easiest there.

@joedude523 I've heard it's pretty much the same as sliding a regular note. The problem is it's only supposed to be possible on a fretless bass, or atl east way easier. I have absolutely no clue on how he does it on one with frets. Having such an expensive bass might make a difference. On better basses harmonic tones that usually don't come out great, like the one on the 3rd fret, sound an awefull lot better. And ofcourse the fact that he's got more talent then any of us might help.

This was great. Praise the Lord. I played the bass guitar for 20 years, but I was never this good. I played a rock and roll style.
