It reminds me of when my face was scarred from 3rd and 4th degree burns when I was little. I had to wear the same mask as her, as well as some other ones because my face for a long time couldn't be out in the sun. I think I had it easier, though, since I grew up like that. She really is such an amazing person.

I got burns not on my face but my neck, chest, arm, hand and leg. It's been almost a year since the fire accident and I'm still wearing burn jacket 23 hours a day. I get depressed sometimes when I see girls outside wearing a short skirt and a T-shirt and I can't wear those. Katie's story encouraged me to move forward. Thank you so much.
