  • If i was rich and you gave me a tax cut... i m running with my money to a third world country and build me a villa with lots of beautiful house keepers and build me a factory to sell toys to Walmart....Fly back a couple of times a year on my corporate jet to pay for a congressman to make sure that we do it again....

  • Democrats are the party that still has people who care about the country and vote for what is right. The GOP have become the dark party who bow to corporate greed and profit without any qualms ever.

  • I want the tax cuts that Bush forced down our throats and added trillions to the deficit over the next ten years to END. End these tax cuts and have serious revenue coming into the government so that the funds are there to respond to all the weather related dramas that keep happendingas a result of climate change.

  • Rick Lazio is a little bitch for the rich!!

  • You can,t reduce the deficit by tax cuts on anybody, or anything.... its too big of a black hole .....you will just make everyone poorer. The only thing to do is declare like Iceland did, that the "deficit" owed is by the banks to the banks and for our goverment to refuse to agree that we "owe" any of it! The Banks created alot of this fraud in order to bankrupt the goverment to the IMF bank like they our doing Ireland.... and our goverment is full of foreign banking interests and their reps !

  • @PerrrfictKats ...All done by Globalists and their minons to bankrupt countries by infiltratrating their goverments and treasuries then, devaluating their currencies, to put them in their control for one world goverment; Dems and Reps both wings of the same bird working for continutity of agenda under Agenda 21 UN Rio Accords 2002 signed by Bush, Clinton working for Globalists...

  • @PerrrfictKats Check out YT video: Gerald Celente"Prepare,Survive,Prevail" Finnland said NO to the bankers!

  • @PerrrfictKats

    Got that right.

thank god ron paul gets my vote in 2012.

  • Historically, raising taxes on the wealthiest turns out to be good for the economy. Not only does it allow the government to spend and invest in times of economic uncertainty , but it also motivates the wealthiest Americans. Who does Rick Lazio think he is kidding? Everyone here knows that the wealthiest Americans are enjoying the lowest taxes in our history and we still haven't seen those promised jobs. There are no "tax hikes" here. It is a matter of letting the Bush "tax cuts" expire.

  • It would help tremendously is the "reporter" in this case, were anything more than a news reader. Everything Lazio said should have been challenged. Here's the easiest challenge of all. Congressman Lazio, why is it that Republicans sing the same tune whether we have a surplus (2001) or an enormous deficit (NOW)? It's the response that fits all seasons... "Lower taxes for the rich!"

  • Grayson would be a big celebrity if the media weren't sucking so much corporate Koch.

  • If the rich were taxed high enough we wouldn't be involved in frivolous wars-so you could kill two birds with one stone.

  • People really need to get it straight about the clinton surplus. It was a product of tax receipts created from the increased income of the tech bubble. Clinton left office, the bubble collapsed, deficits ensued, and Bush made it worse with tax cuts and corporate welfare. Furthermore, the ground-level interest rates of the Clinton administration fostered runaway economic growth and the emergence of the catastrophic sub-prime mortgage industry. Give credit where credit is due. It's not due here.

  • One trillion is better than nothing stupid fucking republicon.

Let's not do anything and lets let the country just go down in flames.

    They really are greedy basterds.

  • i got an idea how about government spends only what they take in problem solved

  • /facepalm'd after only 28 sec. from cookie-cut-out republican nonsense

You don't get out of a hole if you just STOP digging. The hole needs to be filled.

Did everyone just forget that for nearly EVERY other war and we've been in, taxes were RAISED to pay for it? But no, lets do CUTS and increase defense budget 80+% over 10 years. Gee, I wonder why the budget sucks...

I'd rather pay more taxes then watch my school get shut down or roads turn to shit.

    BTW:

    "IT'S PEANUT BUTTAH JELLEH TIME!"

  • Why is it that republicans raised the ceiling 5 times for $4 billion now of all times think it should stop?

Oh I forget now it's a democrat president and they must posture and play political sports, that's the difference.

  • Comment removed

  • @David12King Yeah, that's all very convenient, but too bad the people screaming for it have 0 credibility at this point. Shouldn't be opposed over some party's political interests, or at least I won't do it. You go ahead, then pretend it's something else. Not my concern.

  • Comment removed

  • @David12King You can read it however you like, serve shit and call it chocolate, but see how many people buy your facepalming contradictory statements. You've already failed once.

  • Comment removed

  • @David12King Speaks for itself.

  • 10 years of tax cuts for the rich, what would jesus do?...the last shall be first and the first shall be last

  • We're having the same debate in Denmark. I for one dont think we should tax the rich. Taxing the rich will just undermine buying power and raises prices, plus: maintaining the tax cut is honourung the very wealthy. In denmark where we do pay alot taxes a cappuccino at a street cafe costs like 6 $. A big mac meny costs 9 $ it's ridiculous

  • @MsTommyknocker Liar.

  • Grayson FTW!!

  • Get the jelly, honey! Get the jelly.

  • I'm ashamed this politician is from NY.

  • Looking forward to when you are back Alan. You de man! xx

  • Would love to see you on a ticket with Sanders or Feingold in 2012, Al. Progressives, Democrats, and Independents are done with Obama. Give it a shot.

  • @Asymmatrix

    Vote ron paul.

end all taxes, including the unconstitutional income tax.

  • @jmjfanss Ron Paul is a lunatic.

  • @Asymmatrix

    SHUT UP!

  • @jmjfanss lmao

  • @Asymmatrix

Ron Paul is the truth here.

  • @jmjfanss Ron Paul is a far far right wing idiot. Sure he'd favor eliminating taxes (pres cant do that alone). He'd also want to do away with almost all of the regulatory agencies, including the FDA and EPA, so no food safety or pollution regulations for you, and he's rabidly anti-abortion, so watch out if you have an unwanted pregnancy for any reason. He also thinks the Civil Rights Act is silly. Ron Paul is a clown.

  • @Asymmatrix

Because those agencies are nothing more than an authoritan dictatorship and unconstitutional, you better wake up

and get off of this left/right bullshit, both mean nothing today.

  • @jmjfanss Oh bullshit. They're extremely necessary. Ron Paul's juvenile Libertarian garbage is absurd.

  • @Asymmatrix

    fuck you anyways!

  • @jmjfanss lol

  • @jmjfanss And P.S. irresponsible tax cuts for the rich is a big part of why we're so fucked right now. Clinton balanced the budget and we were on track to pay down the debt in under ten years.

  • @Asymmatrix

Because republicans forced clinton to balance the budget, he was a scumbag too, just like the rest of them.

and fuck the tax cuts bullshit, it brings absolutely nothing.

    END THE FED LIBERAL MORON!

    BRING OUR TROOPS HOME NOW!

  • @Asymmatrix

Because the republicans forced clinton to balance the budget, after that scumbag pushed NAFTA, NAFTA was bipartisan.

  • @jmjfanss Please. Clinton raised taxes on the rich and R's lost their minds over it. It worked.

  • @Asymmatrix

Not really, the republicans force cunton to do that, clinton didn't care about the middle class either, he supported NAFTA, WTO and other stuff, he was a globalist puppet like the rest of them

  • @jmjfanss

Plus the federal reserve is really responisble for the booms and the busts.

  • @jmjfanss Lol Repubs screamed we'd go into recession if Clinton raised taxes on the rich. Read a little history.

  • @Asymmatrix

Because he stole social security from the american people

and get off the democrat/republican thing, those two mean bullshit to me.

that is why I Left the democratic party, because they are just like the republicans, the party of theives

so enjoy, your liberal piece of filth

    FUCK BOTH OF THEM!

THEY DON'T MEAN SHIT TO ME!

  • @jmjfanss Please. Every Pres since Reagan has pinched SS.

  • @Asymmatrix

GET THE FUCK OFF THE DEMOCRAT/REPUBLICAN GARBAGE, THEIR BOTH THE SAME TO ME!

AMERICA HAS BEEN FUCKED SINCE 1913.

THE TWO PARTY SYSTEM IS FUCKING UP THIS GARBAGE AND YOU ARE A PART OF IT, FUCKER!

  • @jmjfanss Yeah yeah. Vote for a tree.

  • @Asymmatrix

Shut the fuck up, you shill.

  • and you damn right I Blocked your ass.

i'm sick of both parties trying to destroy america, this is like nazi germany all over again.

  • @jmjfanss Lol get therapy

  • @Asymmatrix

And you get a life, you shill.

  • @Asymmatrix

Bill Clinton stole from social security to raise taxes.

  • Hello EX Congressman Grayson.

  • @TheMetalPerson Yep. That is, indeed, what happens when the oligarchs (and the folks like YOU who gladly grab your ankles for them) target you and 'take you out.' Thanks for highlighting the fact that people with lots of money own the Congress and the country...

  • What really needs to happen is to stop spending money that doesn't exist. Why should ANY taxpayer pay for the mistakes of the Federal Government.

  • Tax the rich. Tax the rich. Don't screw the infrastructure workers, tax the rich!

  • Congressman Grayson, please move to NY and take the 3rd congressional district seat away from Rep. Peter King. He is a disgrace to our fair state. But more importantly, you are among the best and brightest and we need you! Thank you.

  • *Economy strong and growing??** WHERE??? WHERE???

  • As it stands: Tax hikes for the middle class and poor, tax cuts for the rich. What ELSE is new.

  • Get em Gray! This dude is crazy good I cant believe he didnt get re-elected. Furthermore all banks try to lengthen the duration of any given loan because they make money on the interest. So they want u to pay every month at the minimum, they do not want u to pay it off early

  • I have to respectfully disagree with Alan Grayson on this one... The good part is the peanut butter!

  • Two weeks ago China started to break the balls of American companys that manufacture in that country. Today, American companys asked the US Chamber of Commerce to lobby for an increase in the debt limit of the USA. Fucking pussy repubs want to destroy this country. Their rich friends want to continue to bring low wage made goods into America and destroy the social contract to do it.

  • ha bisky upload love you grayson keep fighting for us we need you because there arent many wanting to fight for us

  • PB&J FTW!!!

  • How about ending the wars?

  • Grayson/Weiner 2012

  • The real burden on this country is corporate welfare. The right-wing serves only the rich and will continue to serve only the rich.

I sure hope y’all get out and vote next year - any more right-wing power and you can kiss the middle-class goodbye.

  • taxes should be low all across the board. Government needs to be Cut dramatically. they've gotten way too big.

  • You could 100% destroy all social programs in the US and we would STILL be racking up massive debt because of our tax policy, our war machine, and our prison industrial complex.

  • Lazio us a corporate whore, Buffett testified that taxes on rich are too low, and he as a billionaire pays less tax than his own secretary

  • so when government needs revenue u must not tax the rich, the top 1% earn 25% of all income in the US

  • Grayson FTW!!! (as usual :P)

  • Only 1 trillion. Is this guy joking?

  • I think I start to understand politics more and more.

The more anyone sounds complicated the more likely they are lying. Grayson explications are very clear.

That other guy sounds so insane and confusing because he cannot explain why riches should not be taxes. So he try to come up with historical facts or stories how this could help. But if Americans had a brain, they will know they should not vote for such tools

  • @yes4me you know i had to look up "explication" never heard that word before. guess i learned something today. thxs :)

  • small businesses can't compete with Walmarts

  • you should not give job creators high taxes, unless they are mostly providing jobs to China. that's why you have to go for the jugular and call them out on their job creator BS

  • I hope I get this right. The rich are afraid of spending and hiring because of uncertainty!! Who in their "Right Mind" believes that??? It is the People that Work for the Rich that are not spending. WE worry EVERYDAY about having enough money to make it through the week.. We could sell our Yachts, and Mansion's. Give up our Million Dollar bonuses, and down size our spending. I forgot WE DON"T HAVE THEM TO IN ORDER TO DO THIS!!!

  • Funny how the Retardicans always seem to do and feel exactly the way they propagandize. They are totally hell bent on crashing the Federal Government but they trot around bleating about how they are so concerned about the condition of the financial status of the U S when it is their actions that put us in such a terrible place.

This being said, the Dumbocrats just keep on letting them do this unchecked and unchallenged.

Worst of all, the third part candidates are almost all a pack of jokes.

  • @MrTearsintherain the government NEEDS to crash. So it can restructure itself in a manner that's sustainable.

  • @fiapop It doesn't need to "crash". It needs to decouple itself from its thralldom to corporate interests, the insanely wealthy and foreign interests and get back to enhancing the lives of ordinary Americans.

This is what the CONservatives want, to collapse the government allowing the wealthy and powerful to run unchecked over the ordinary folks. They paint a smiley face on their Frakenpolitical monster, but anyone with an ounce of political savvy knows what they really want.....FEUDALISM.

  • @fiapop With what? The tea party?

  • @WinterHaven I'm not talking about people. I am talking about the entire SYSTEM needs re-structure. and it will never be able to do so unless there is a complete crash.. they are just kicking the can down the road.

  • To all who continue to be barraged with the propaganda (ie. lies) about "small business" I refer you to the Countdown expose of Keith Olbermann on 9-22-2010--Special Report on "Small Business".

  • "The last place (sic) we should be raising taxes is when you have a fragile economy."

REALLY, Rick? Raising taxes on the rich during a recession, whose tax cuts helped CREATE the 'fragile economy' is a bad idea huh? You're in the wrong line of work, Rick, you should clearly be selling manure to farmers. At least they can make good use of it.

  • I think I get it.

The policies destroying our economy have to be continued, because change will damage our economy.

  • America needs a president like Allan Grayson. Too bad that american voters are not that smart.

  • Good to hear from you Al. Shove the truth down these creeps' throats. Or any orifice you prefer.

  • Why doesn't anyone talk about reforming our overly complicated tax system and reducing the size of the IRS???

  • Man that's some tired rhetoric by Lazio, putting me to sleep there. He might as well just start saying "Pllllllease don't raise the taxes on rich people! Pleeeeease?"

  • I can't stand the word "uncertainty" being used in a negative light. When is there EVER certainty?

  • Hi Mr GOP, tell me more lies. Hi Mr Grayson tell me reality. MSNBC give more voice to the people over the minority rich aka GOP.

  • Ha, I love how that idiot uses "small business" in his opening argument. He knows exactly who we're going to close loopholes for.... giant corporations, not "small businesses". Little worm.

    As usual, Grayson > *

  • Grayson your back on youtube ?

    awesome

  • Grayson totally owned that guy!

  • Fine come up with a trillion dollars that a tax increase on the top .5% would generate till then I don't want to hear it. Tax cuts on the rich create jobs is one of the biggest commonly believed lies there is. 2002-2008 there were MASSIVE tax cuts on the rich and we LOST LOST LOST jobs.

  • aggregate demand...lol

right out of keynes' fantasy book.

  • Go get'em Grayson!
