The Voyager intro was the best, I have to say. It was by far the most moving I think (though I never cried). Though I must admit that I had the whole into to TNG memorized. "Space. The final frontier, these are the ..." :) I love how she always says bleeping. :) (Meanwhile though, I believe this is 2000 and not 2001 as in your description).
