@kamwrites I agree. 100%. I think this is one of the reasons why I didn't enjoy this special as much as all of his previous ones. The camera shots were so distracting! I found myself focusing on his shoe-wear, his boots, his earrings...etc. I absolutely adore the man. He is my favourite comedian, ever. But this show left me a bit cold. I think the camera work had a LOT to do with it.

I think that is more of a subliminal message forcing people to acknowledge the fact that he is indeed a cross dresser. However, if the camera stayed on his face, and were subjected to his entertainment, no one would give a fig about what he was wearing. Yet another example of how the media tells us what is acceptable and what is not.

It's not a symptom, it's a prop. We are supposed to notice it. We don't have to understand it, simply because it's not part of the joke. Even in sneakers he's still be wearing a corset and a mini skirt. The cool thing is- it takes your attention for about a second before comedy steals it back.
