Well if you think it actually might be about the survivors at the mall. They're glad that they stayed alive throughout most of this. It probably isn't about the Dead in specific.
hehe tbh i used it for both ways =) the fact the survivors are the last alive n what thy treausre most n life thy wont let get taken from them, and for the simple irony tht its a song about being alive in a zombie film, im glad sum ppl notice these lil things =)

You know if you think about it, these things aren't alive at all. (Sorry I'm going in to one of my thoughtful moods ^^;) Because if you have a soul, then you're alive right? These things have no soul. All they can feel is hunger. They're empty shells.
But other than that, this video has totally been favorited. I love it!
