Chalga is the thing that embarrass me the most. And it is stupid asking questions like "is Sofia safe at night?" No city is safe at night, u can get killed anywhere. I've been on empty streets at night many times feeling totally safe without carrying a weapon and i am 16 btw. Some back way alleys might be scary, but just don't go there. Bulgaria's beauty are the beaches and mountains in summer and winter.
