He has been my favorite reciever since he was a rookie, even though he is not the best. He is on the way though. I was mad when he was injured and Collie took his place, and did a good job too. There is no room for him on the colts anymore.

what most people dont understand about Gonzo is that in college he was running quite close with ted ginn in 40 times. Gonzo also catches nearly everything and that makes him scary when hes healthy because he can run lightning fast which is overlooked about him a lot

Gonzo's physical attributes make him the stronger player overall than Collie and Garcon. The only issue is him getting fully healthy and getting his timing with Manning back. With the way the Colts work I think all three will see about the same amount of playing time at least early this season. Collie always slot, Garcon always outside, Gonzo alternating depending on who is in. In the end I think Collie will come on for 3rd down and red zone, alternating with Garcon, but Gonzo will be full time.

Reggie is going to be #1, Collie will start at slot (#3), Garcon and Gonzo r a toss up. cuz Gonzo is good at slot and Flanker, while collie is a sure slot guy. But Garcon got injured(minor) soo i think if garcon doesnt play any pre season games. Gonzo starts over him as Flanker(#2)

You know Reggie will be his typical SE since he is so good against the jam and i believe that Caldwell will keep Garcon at FL since he is our deep threat like Harrison was, plus it just worked so well last season. Really i think Collie and Gonzo (if he is fully healthy and back) will split time at slot depending on what were doing. I really hope though that we kind of do what the Saints do ( It kills me talking about them) and spread it out with all four receivers and Clark

what to do what to do, that is the question.... I think this is an awesome problem to have and I am sure Manning will be drooling come this season. I heard that we are looking at some special 4 receiver sets, which is great. think about it, we havent had this much talent at wide out in a long time. Does 04 ring a bell? I think we have more talent then that year, I know we had Harrison in his prime but we have never had to decide between 4 receivers like this

the Colts WR lineup in 2010 is gonna be Reggie Wayne, Anthony Gonzalez, and Pierre Garcon. Collie will be the 4th receiver IMO.

hahahahaha collie dosent compare to gonzalez. Im a die hard colts fan but if you seen what gonzalez did in his rookie year compared to collies its not even close. Gonzo came in to take marvin harrisons position and i think he is gonna be one of the best wr in the league very soon. Collie is good but he cant make the catches in traffic like gonzo does and gonzos route running is way better than collies

Collie's rookie stats were higher than Gonzales, Austin isn't much of a traffic catcher like Anthony, but as far as route running goes; Collie is better there because he gets much more separation for DBs than Gonzales. But point blank they're both great WRs.

True, I think Gonzo has better Yard per Catch, but most of the balls hit his hands further down the field , so YPC is really meaningless. Garcon has a great YPC, but he is a deep threat and gets more deep balls. YAC is what you should be looking at. I think gonzo has better YAC ability than collie, but collie does have better total rookie stats. As of week 3 in the season, collie is the LEADING receiver in the NFL in receptions and yards, tied for TDS. Thats impressive!

They work differently. Reggie Wayne runs deep and is Peyton's top target in the red zone. Gonzalez is more like Wes Welker, running slants and able to get the ball downfield. But I have to admit, he plays nothing like the guy he replaced. Watching this, Anthony plays a lot more like Larry Fitzgerald then Marvin Harrison.

YEAH. THE AMAZING THING ABOUT gonzalez is not his ability to catch, but his speed and his ability to change direction quickly, and his awareness. a perfect example is when he caught the ball against the vikings and lateralled it to reggie.
