I only use whey as a post workout

@LegitDouchebag Really it just depends on your body type and what your goal is. The P90X nutrition guide will give you plenty of ideas for generally healthy diets. Personally I was underweight when I started so I basically had to modify it for my situation. Just remember lean meats, whole grains, fruits, veggies, healthy fats, and you're golden.

Sorry, but the end result looks horrible. Your body's all out of shape... your pecks look tiny and just all wrong. Think of your body as a triangle upside down... big chest e.t.c then slimmer down into your abs... perfect look.
If you start exercising with any program you will get results, but this p90x crap otherwise doesn't seem like the best bang for your buck training imo. Heavy squats, deadlifts, dips, pullups etc , compound exercises in THE GYM in general are way better in the long run.

@bucky3rd Judging by the state of his body it looks to me like all of those shots were made after he was done with the program, so maybe he started with the 10s/15s and got those adjustables after shit got real.

I have an important tip for you guys. Make sure the first week when you start you really WARM UP GOOD.. cause the workout was so intense for me I hurt my arm and then i had to rest for 1 week !!! so warm up :)
@EuropeanGuy87 Great advice! Warmup is VERY important especially for the first couple weeks while you kick your body into gear. I made a "warning" video about P90X for the first couple weeks, that will be worth searching for on Youtube for any of you who are JUST starting or thinking about starting P90X

However my legs are fit because I use to play soccer for 12 yrs,I completed very easily the Plyometrics and legs workout with no problem at all the first week even..The arms took me 3 weeks to complete the whole thing without being extremely tired. When I finished the P90X I was able to do 18 pull-ups.and the first week I could barely pull myself and do 5..
Hey man, i workout 4 days a week, and i have a very solid base for strength, i about 175 bench 245, squat 320 etc, im 17 , but i was woundering, i wana get good core and solid strength for my upcomming rugby season and im gonna take up p90x, but i was gonna ask, could i also lift about 3 days a week or decent weights on top of this program or would it affect result or improve them?> please respond thanks :)
@samiandjosh I wouldnt do P90X ON TOP of your regular weight training. You could easily over-train. However, here is an idea... Cycle one week P90X, one week your regular weight training. Go back and forth. Or, if you train every week then add P90X workouts like Plyo, Core Synergistics, Ab Ripper, etc. Just don't lift weights targeting the same muscle groups back to back. For example, don't do shoulders at the gym and then P90X Shoulder & Arms the next day.

hey man, quick question.ive got 2 months before i go for a 1 month holiday to my country to visit..i can only do 2 blocks of training before i go.. im doing the "classic".. can i do the first 3 weeks normal training block 1, then the recovery week, then instead of going for training block 2, id jump straight to training block 3 and do the 3 weeks of training block 3?in training block 3 workouts switch loads so i guess id get more quick results that way?? (**ive got only 2 months before i fly)

@xer0tolerant I prefer free weights over bands. I know people who have achieved good results with Bands but at the end of the day, while bands are tough, they just don't allow as much freedom as do free weights. That's my personal opinion.

I am 15 years old, going on 16 soon. I have around 15% body fat and I was wondering if this program is good for me. The reason why I ask is, my body is still growing and some of these workouts have dumbells. Which means its not good because It stops me from growing. Because I am still in the stage of growing. @BigBruiser76 What does dumbbells have to do with not growing lol...This is a good program i guess but not what a 16yr old should be buying...This is expensive. you need to follow the actual program that they give you not like this guy did...You need to also buy your own weights and most people wont just work out at there house thats why people go to gyms...Better thing would be to ask your gym teacher and work out at your school. Best bang for your buck.

@RsXol Thanks buddy. I ate lean but mainly good foods. Example, 1 egg yolk and 3-4 egg white omelet one 2 pieces dry toasted wheat bread for breakfast. Snack would be something like a whey protein shake or shakeology with a banana added and maybe 1 tbsp natural peanut butter + skim milk. Lunch may be whole wheat pasta (+ omega 3/6 oil) natural canned tomato (no added stuff) with some sort of lightly cooked veggies. Plus 1/2 to a full gallon of water a day. Lots of chicken and tuna.
so true man..all of this is money making schemes..i mean they work but all you gotta do is go to the gym and lift big. I gained 25 punds of muscle and still wear same jeans size just from going hard at the gym with a spotter.
This may sound like a dumb question but... why do some people get results while others don't? I want results but I'm on my second attempt of P90X the first time I kept burning out and getting sick. This time i'm trying to pace myself. So is there a balance? If so how do i find it?

hey man, quick question.ive got 2 months before i go for a 1 month holiday to my country to visit..i can only do 2 blocks of training before i go.. im doing the "classic".. can i do the first 3 weeks normal training block 1, then the recovery week, then instead of going for training block 2, id jump straight to training block 3 and do the 3 weeks of training block 3?in training block 3 workouts switch loads so i guess id get more quick results that way?? (**ive got only 2 months before i fly)

@xer0tolerant I prefer free weights over bands. I know people who have achieved good results with Bands but at the end of the day, while bands are tough, they just don't allow as much freedom as do free weights. That's my personal opinion.

I am 15 years old, going on 16 soon. I have around 15% body fat and I was wondering if this program is good for me. The reason why I ask is, my body is still growing and some of these workouts have dumbells. Which means its not good because It stops me from growing. Because I am still in the stage of growing. So if you can tell me something or give me advice

@BigBruiser76 What does dumbbells have to do with not growing lol...This is a good program i guess but not what a 16yr old should be buying...This is expensive. you need to follow the actual program that they give you not like this guy did...You need to also buy your own weights and most people wont just work out at there house thats why people go to gyms...Better thing would be to ask your gym teacher and work out at your school. Best bang for your buck.

@RsXol Thanks buddy. I ate lean but mainly good foods. Example, 1 egg yolk and 3-4 egg white omelet one 2 pieces dry toasted wheat bread for breakfast. Snack would be something like a whey protein shake or shakeology with a banana added and maybe 1 tbsp natural peanut butter + skim milk. Lunch may be whole wheat pasta (+ omega 3/6 oil) natural canned tomato (no added stuff) with some sort of lightly cooked veggies. Plus 1/2 to a full gallon of water a day. Lots of chicken and tuna.
