Not really. Samsung has 800 mhz processors in their Omnia Pro phones, while iPhones main processor operates at max 600 mhz.

In India, the i8910 have a Ghz 65nm dual core CPU and i guess the RAM is same as all other countries @ 256MB.

this was about ~4 months back. I guess all countries now have a 1 Ghz CPU

Actually you don't need the i8910 HD to be able to do this. I've tried opening ALL apps on my N95 8Gb and it didn't crash either. This is because new versions of Symbian uses the Demand Paging technology in its operation. All those programs will not access your memory unless you swith to using them.

The 70% of symbian 3rd apps work on omnia hd.

With 5800, omnia hd and now n97 there will no problem with symbian 5th apps :)
