I got one for 50 bucks, wired a 3 cell lipo into it and it's ok but it's definitely not a noob plane because in the stock config its gutless and too heavy. The ACT thing is useless, turn it off as I'm sure it actually would make a noob crash rather than help. Overall it's fun to fly with a better battery in it. You'd be better off getting a Parkzone super cub instead of this if you want to learn to fly. I have one it's way better than this out of the box.
i bought one of these for my second plane after a firebird commander 1 and it was so difficult to control....it just kept stalling then cartwheenling into the ground. (fortunately!) it got nicked last year and i got an aerobird 3 as a replacement which is a beautiful little plane to fly...im now doing some pretty complex aerobatics
The first time I used this RC plane, Which was today and the first time I ever flew an rc plane. I lost control and it hit a power line and plummeted to a highway. I ran my butt off but got it unharmed. Still............. I'm afraid now of these RC planes.
Seriously. Don't buy this plane as it will leave a bad impression on what RC flying is really about.
They are under powered and the one in this vid has no doubt had a Brushless motor run by a LiPo fitted to give it push. Don't waste your money as there are better park flyers out there.
THEY DONT EVEN FLY! AHAHAHAHAHAHA! I have been flying for years..and when i figured it would be good to try a nice little park flyer..i got this. And none of the servos were correct..and the motor would randomly turn off XD I fly like raptor 90's etc..and i know what im talking about when i say this is a peice of crap XD
