  • When my Japanese teacher told me there were no school counselors, I felt so bad.

I'm sure a lot of those suicides could've been stopped (atleast the ones that came from depression) if they had someone to talk to as a kid or teen. Or atleast made it seem slightly acceptable to see a counselor at any age. :(

  • Personally, as a professional mental health counselor, I think the situation in Japan is beyond deplorable. Most especially when therapy or medication has been empirically validated to be highly treatable with very few instances of chronic depression (Leahy, Holland, McGinn, 2012). There comes a time when we should respect a society's cultural heritage. But there is also a time when it's heritage needs updating, especially when human lives are involved

  • oh what about life insurance there? Do they have that and does killing yourself change what the insurance pays?

  • what are the common ways that modern japanese people kill themselves?

  • @KustomFu trains, jumping off buildings, Aokigahara (suicide forest, very interesting-- people mostly go there to hang themselves), etc.

  • @calculatorINSTINCTS thanks for the reply, that is very interesting. I should have guessed trains and buildings but I'm going to research the forest right now.

  • @KustomFu you're welcome! there's also a few interesting videos on youtube about it. :)

  • @KustomFu Go to vice.com and look up suicide forest. You will find a great documentary on it

  • @KustomFu According to mental health professionals it's usually hanging, overdosing on pills, jumping off bridges (so their body won't be discovered and their relatives don't have to see them dead). Not unlike what other societies do. Not really many ways to creatively kill one's self.

  • actually its very interesting subject

  • The only reason why *I* oppose suicide is because i know that if someone in MY family killed themselves, i would feel very sad

  • well, i'd say there's LOT more Japan's lovers than haters on your channel.

we tends to remember the negative and forget the positive things, that's all.

  • I subscribed today I am from Mexico but learned english and love japanese, your channel is so interesting I am watching all your videos since I barely found your channel. this subject of suicide was interesting since I knew about it in japan but never understood why, and this cleared up a lot of questions

  • excellent video! tastefully done, obviously thoroughly researched. love you videos - am playing through all of them each day at lunch!

  • Most Japanese are atheists, not Shintoists or Buddhists

  • @nipplewort If that where true, why would they even consider suicide?! LOL They are atheists in the sense that they dont believe in a Creator God, but they do have tuns of gods and goddesses, superstition is popular in Japan

  • @hininga28 Wtf? Are you implying that atheists never commit suicide because they don't believe in the afterlife? And just because "they have" tons of gods and goddesses doesn't mean they actually believe in them. Zues, Athena, and Hades among countless others are all well known gods, but nobody actually worships them anymore, yet we all acknowledge them as gods. Please use your brain

  • I watch a lot of videos on Japan but you are the only one who gets into the stuff that matters and not just the tourist attractions

  • not just japan, asian as a whole are quite emotionally supressed :o

  • When that many people are unhappy its important that life is made to be more of a joy.

  • scandinavia also has a high suicide rate, and I'd say scandinavian countries are damn near to be perfect (well ok, norway wanting to kill whales and selling oil like crazy, but there's always something to critisize)

  • @schootingstarr Im from norway, whales taste good.. i don't know why everybody bitch about it.. they are not going extinct and they taste good and its lots of meat... why dont you stop eating chickens?? yeah stop trying to decide what other people eat.. and who wouldn't sell oil?? are you saying that oil isn't needed at this point in time??

  • @hearv888 "whales are not going extinct" what whales? blue whales certainly are nearly extinct for example, and unlike chicken, you cannot breed them

and I ain't saying that Iwouldn't sell oil, but even you have to admit that making money off oil isn't helping the environment one bit

it's true, the rest of the world is to blame for their shortsightedness

and srsly, what are you bitching about? I already said your damn near a perfect society -.-

  • @schootingstarr what shortsightedness?? sustainable development? global warming? climate change? thats a load of al gore bullshit.. its only political, not scientific.. im sure your ignorant mind has no idea about the climate gate scandal(bought scientists faking the numbers).. they just want to put more taxes on you... and its gonna make al gore a billionaire.. so to all you ignorant global warming idiots, shut the fuck up and read something legit.

  • @hearv888 I was going to refer to using fossil ressources for energy

but then I ran out of characters

I wasn't talking about global warming, even though I don't doubt that it's a fact (maybe not caused by CO2, Idk)

I was talking about the risks of oil for the environment in general

deepwater horizon was just last year.

it was an accident, yes, but stuff like that happens

but thanks for calling me an ignorant idiot, you really made a point there

  • Just give retalin to each Japanese kid regularly. They'll be fine... They will just turn into vegetables...

  • Do you know that Korea has the second highest suicide rate by nation whereas Japan ranks 6th? Explanation please?

  • You skipped students and the pressure of getting good grades in school....I agree with you on Japan haters. My first wife was Japanese, who I lost in a car acctdent in 91, and was the most loving person I have ever known. I miss Japan so much and to all those "haters" out there, go to Japan and learn something about that culture before making judgments...I am jealous you are in Japan and I am not.

  • Finally someone, who uses YouTube for and the way it is intended to. I think suicide is a crime in certain circumstances, when some personal responses are coming forth, but crimes like murder always come from a kind of temporary or permanent mental/behavioural disfunction. I looked up some vids on the primary law and I copletely agree with preventive solutions ignited by the leader side of society. Love and support should be in powerful hands and not threatening. This was solved many things.

  • well if you ask me suicide sounds better than murder :)

  • I also rather live in a society where suicide is a big topic, than where murder is common.

  • @lavidaesunamuerda Me too lol I rather someone kill themselves than try and kill me!

  • Comment removed

  • You where talking about the Banzai charges of ww2?

  • I suspect the reason japan haters exist is simple.

Blind patriotism for ones nation requires that, you maintain your own nation as the best, and all others MUST certainly be worse.

  • @TheReasonWhyGuy I think that is close to right, too simplistic but I think the concept that one nation is the best is infringed on by another nation that is doing many things better, and Japan does so very many things correctly from what I can tell.

  • @zepherighost "too simplistic"

Perhaps, but the goal was to be short, and easy to understand.

  • I.actully neva knew japan had the 8th highest sucide rate an that lots of ppl r.depressed I always thought that japan was a happy lil country

  • *NOTE*

Before anyone (if anyone) are going to flame me,

NO, you can't see Autism Spectrum Disorder. Not on the outside.

I'm pretty much normal, in the looks, only problems I really have is socialization... Well, not on the internet. Face-to-face.

I'm currently working on that. That's pretty much my only downside.

  • Hello.

I'm a nineteen year old guy.

How do they look at Autism? Would they view that as a mental illness?

I live in Denmark, where we got lots of schools, for people with "Special needs" ... I got Autism Spectrum Disorder, only, and was told I could of passsed a elementary school/middle and high school... But due to my ... Well, I myself wouldn't call it luck, I ended up on those schools for people with "special needs". So, I want to move to Japan, in a few years.

    How do they take Autism?

  • @OriginalLoLRandom Hvor i dk er du fra??

  • @Zakariia

    Nordjylland :P

    Hobro.

Så, det var slut derfra ;)

  • It doesn't matter what country u live in..Suicide is all around us..If i owned a gun..(which i don't).I really think i would of offed myself already..I'm tired of struggling all the time..tired of being slap to the side at my job and allow a mexican take over my hours..Have no family to turn to just till i get back on my feet again..Friends are only there for me when they need something..tired of my life

  • @Midnightryder7 all we can do is continue to live in hope of a better day. you will have your's and if nothing else inspires you, take pride in your resolve. ive endured my fair amount but dont allow petty things to cloud your judgement...

  • I was surprised when our tour guide mentioned the Aokigahara Forest on our Mount Fuji tour.

  • yeah, killing oneself its the best way to go

  • Let me summaries this video in a short paragraph and save you all 6 minutes.

    1) Bushido tribe (warriors) commit suicide if they loose a battle, it's honorable I guess.

    2) Japanese don't like to talk about it much.

    3) It's considered 'your choice' so it's something that the authorities don't try to stop (I think this would be somewhat correct?)

    4) Japan haters are on the wrong channel

Feel free to correct this, 6 minutes could of been merged into 10 seconds >_>

  • @TheJapanChannelDcom i appreciate you getting back to making some more happy videos. :p thank you. ^_^

  • "Suffer in silence and put up a brave front and keep smiling"

Not that I'm not used to this, but I find the fact that this is almost compulsory in Japanese society a very sad thing. Because just letting it out to a close friend can move a great weight over ones chest...

  • Dude, it's not how long it has been since the WWII, it's rather what they did right after the war. They are playing the game that time will erase memories of bad stuff they have done instead asking for atonement. You don't think that rather a dirty trick. They should be in commit suicides as a repentance over their inhuman ways of treating their neighbors instead of loss of job or family member or loneliness....that's why their will never be respected.

  • In my mind i feel that there is only one god to cover the whole earth..When a person takes there life..i feel that God loves them and understands why they choose to end there life...God welcomes all with open arms..

  • Unfortunately some people always need to criticize and even be rude because they can hide behind their youtube identities. I think it's good you don't let them get to you. Watching your videos as a person who's highly interested in Japan is very special, thank you for all the great videos, for the entertaining stuff as well as for the tricky topics. Japan Channel rocks :-) Hi from Austria!

  • It Saddens me that they don't view mental illness in Japan like we do in America I got some family members with Autism and ADD some of my family members are worse then the others some drive cars and go to work.....what do they do In Japan about people with those types of problems? BUT JAPAN IS STILL AWESOME! :)

  • If you're going to kill yourself... then why not do all crazy kind of things just for fun? Better to live crazy then to kill yourself. Have some fun.

  • @chrstilen5 That's my plan, for sure!

  • @MahBoi22 Just dont die

  • It is really a shame, they commit suicide in Japan, oh man, a depressed nation

    indeed, how sad man.

  • Good on ya mate!

  • Now Japan is number 5 in highest suicide rate. It's a darn shame indeed.

  • I can't give 5 stars anymore 3= BUT I'll give you a thumbs up! :D

  • wow its pretty hard to think that anybody would commit suicide in japan, its such a nice place and the people are the most funnest and considerate.

  • @VLambo311 Honour use to be a huge part of their lives back in the day, it may still be in some areas. They even use to have a thing called Seppuku.

  • what about people who try to kill themselves and fail? are they frowned upon?

  • @CrazyLife92287 Very much lol

  • Are there any organizations in Japan devoted to changing people's attitudes about mental illness?

  • God doesn't punish u for suicide..why punish u for something that u no longer can handle

  • @Midnightryder7 by god? there are alot of gods...

  • hey man come to tokyo, everything you just said is the opposite here

  • I really HATE it when people bring up old crap. And what's funny is that their parents taught them to hate, and older generations that are racist. People change, and besides, what one man or women (or more) do should NOT shape anyone's view of their ENTIRE race.

You're ignorant if you hate someone you've never met, just because of their race. I loved this video, and it gave me a lot of insight to this topic in Japan. Your videos are always a pleasure, education wise!

  • Bouquet of flowers in the background? ;)

  • u look like wolverine its pretty cool

  • I personally think that many people commit suicide in Japan because society expect too much from the single person and some people can't handle it, and another reason in my opinion is that they work too much. I went to Japan and it's amazing, but I think there is more in life than working.

  • Have you ever been to the forest around Mt. Fuji, not to hunt for bodies or anything but just to see it?

  • Are there any Massacres in Japan?

  • I love japan but i hate the fact that they new ever appoligized for the raping of nanking and other such "Nazi" acts in world war 2

  • Thank you for your vids. It's very informative as to why, in modern japan still take their own lives as an option. Kinda sad, but I know that's part of Japan.

  • great video mate keep em coming

  • Your very tasteful with how you touch on topics. Thank you.

  • Suffer in silence and put up a brave front...how very familiar that is to me....

It's nice that the US has medical care for people wealthy enough to take advantage of it. For the rest of us, one may as well live in Japan as far as its availability is concerned.... :(

  • @darkridr25 yea but in the US you can still complain and stuff to your mates, in Japan it's like you can NEVER complain or say anything bad about anything to anyone. Even expressing what you actually feel is something you can't really do a lot of the time, you gotta constantly put on a facade and that's also why its tough in Japan for people who have problems or feel bad, not just when it comes to professional help.

  • @yasashii89 I know. I wasn't saying we in the US as a nation have it as bad as it is in Japan, as most people here in the States do have somebody to talk to. I personally do not. Any time I hurt, I try talking to a friend about it, and they're like, "oh, look at the time...TTYL...."

In that, I say that I can relate to that particular issue that depressed Japanese deal with -- and since I'm not wealthy, I have no access to Medical care for depression -- just like over there....

  • People in Japan are just mentally prepared for suicide if they decide to do it. They are aware of what they are doing and why they fo it, it's just the part of their culture which shouldn't be hated by people from totally different cultural behaviours! To be honest they're culture had have always something mistical and mysterious in it. So let's listen and stop hating! Good video with curious thing bout White Tigers. I gotta read something bout them. Stay tuned!

  • Now Japan is no. 5 on the list of highest suicide rate countries.

    Of that - 35.8% Men / 13.7% Women.

  • You have a point man. I agree 100% with what you said. The thing is, Suicide is a part of their culture, unfortunately, and that leads them to dare their lives in order to make an end for problems. That's in a way regarded in Japan as respect of the others, many Japanese suicide to atonemant for their sins. Then again, suicide increase only economy related issues in a graying country supposed to drop to 95 Million by 2050. I hope they will find a way to reduce the numbers, at least.

  • To be honest, I would love to hear about WWII from the Japanese perspective. As the adage goes, the victors write history, so all I've heard is the typical American rhetoric. But what do the Japanese people actually think about it?

  • @athenon87 I've went there for a month and my stay fell in between August 6th and 9th(the anniversary of Nagasaki and Hiroshima) and a lot of them wanted to talked about it with me and I found about a good majority see the atomic bombs as their fault, which honestly I was surprised. I was especially surprised by this because I was staying in Okinawa, I thought they would have a lot more stronger feelings. However, they agreed it is the past and that's where it should stay.

  • @mermaidd0lly Well I don't hate you, and I definitely don't get into Internet fights. Cheers. (further comments from you will be deleted without being opened)

  • @mermaidd0lly I know what he said. JapanChannel personally is very even-handed and fair (for the most part) my problem is with people like YOU.

  • Furthermore, while everyone has the right to self-terminate, doing so without extremely valid reasons is weakness. It's a cultural hypocrisy in Japans social mindset to consider suicide as honorable and also to make pariahs out of the mentally ill. In all essence Japan is going around like a stupid fat American burping and farting in everyones face by continuing to hold on to these out dated and faliable social constructs.

  • @TheLifePerfect Suicide being accepted religiously and culturally in Japan has nothing to do with US foreign policies - Japan is not "going around like a stupid fat American burping and farting in everyones face" - how can you compare someone killing themselves in light of great failure being a honourable solution, to a political culture where killing others in the name of god and country is considered honourable?

  • @BorysPomianek If you don't like the truth, that's your problem, not mine. Also, learn how to read before you bother arguing with people, for your own sake and those you choose to engage in conversation.

  • @TheLifePerfect I did not engage in a conversation with you, I reprimanded you for writing illogical and hurtful gibberish. Check yourself before you wreck yourself mate.

  • @BorysPomianek Fuck off, random.

  • @TheJapanChannelDcom Suicide and self-mutilation are flat out never honorable (aka: worthy of respect) except perhaps in the case of people suffering with no chance of recovery. Although in the exception stated, I'd say that would not be suicide but instead mercy. A lot of people just find it amazingly backwards that Japan still considers suicide to be honorable. It's flat out archaic and harmful at best. Also, people who have mental problems and don't get help are not behaving with Honor.

  • Though I might make some comments that can be considrered bad, I do like your videos a lot because they provide a more realistic insight (though I know you're a bit biased to loving Japan, as you've already admitted :p). I think I'll stick to watching Japanese cartoons from time to time and eating with chopsticks at chinese restaurants. But that's about as close as I'll get. I don't think I'm wanted and I'm guessing the feeling will grow mutual if I go anyway

    :p

  • Once again I thought I had escaped your videos lol , I'm not upset lol

Now you got my full attention

My soul is bleeding for japan , I am dissapointed in americas use of the bomb it was cowardice and not manly.

What I understand is the God I worship Yahuvah is mercy

The suicide victem is not responsible for the sorrow that over took them.

    Yahuvah is mercy.

I hope the japanese people can understand that fact.

  • i share the point you make "better to kill yourself then to kill another", everytime i read something like murder then suicide on the news i always think, "just kill yourself and be done with it"

  • Based on the (tiny bit of) information I have on Japan, it actually makes sense that suicide would be a prominent element of Japanese life. The same holds true for China and Korea. It's a matter of honor, yes, but it is specifically NOT a matter of mortal or religious sin, so it does make sense that it would happen in higher numbers there. And in the current economy, I can see depression being a major factor. No kidding, Nice job tackling such an otherwise morose subject.

  • my friend from Osaka tells me a lot of the time, its also viewed as honorable. based on the reason for taking your life.

  • This is fascinating, thank you!

  • I know too many people considering suicide here in America because most people believe that in 2012 more specifically december 21, 2012 that the world is going to end. Some think aliens will take over, some believe our government will be putting the lower class into concentration camps to control the population, there are many theories, but my question is, do people in Japan or even Australia worry about this whole 2012 world ending theory?

  • Wow, how could anyone hate Japan? the more I learn the more I love it!

  • Do a video about the court system in japan along with the jails over there..As clean and kind as they are over there I'm sure being in jail is like staying at a Hotel..Seen this one tv news show called Lock Up..and they had this one prison think in England where the food there is like eating at a 4 star resturant

  • Is euthanasia legal in Japan then? If being killed when ill is an option? or is it just a cultural understanding rather than a legal option?

  • You handled this with tact and grace.Very difficult subject to discuss and you have done it well.

  • its funny, I am a lot like that, when i suffer and feel sad I like to keep my emotions and feelings to myself, rather than burden someone else with my problems. I guess I would get along well in Japan.

  • people have every right to hate japan for what they did in wwii

  • @b09h Most of the WWii guys are dead...

  • Thanks for the video (and the channel). VERY informative!

  • from what you said, seeing therapists and whatnot isn't common in japan, but do people still have an option to choose help like that? would families or people approve of it?

  • can you make a video about US imperialism post-WW2 and Japan?

  • @oihhow

    I did.

Watch "US bases - time to go"

  • @TheJapanChannelDcom Hi. do you have videos about bullying?

  • @xp13max If death is evil, then by your religious logic, everyone goes to hell.

  • honor. yes, there is still plays a big role on japanese society, but f you ask me, i'd go with yukio mishima. honor till the end!...xD

  • As far as Christianity goes, I really don't think we have it set in stone that you go to hell if you commit suicide. I think God can accept that you can just be that miserable and need an escape from being confined in a world that you feel very tortured in.

Who would want someone spend day after day just stewing in misery? I think some suicidal people need to think more about the effect taking their life has on their families, but nobody knows how they truly feel, so they still deserve respect.

  • Can you do a translation of what you just said into spanish please

  • back in the mid-90s, i argued on usenet w. ppl who were japan-bashers---and i basically wasted my time on them---i just ignore them now---i think most of them are pathetic idiots who just want to get some attention any way they can; please don't let them get you down; there are many ppl in america and europe who are fascinated by the japanese and want to learn more about them :-)

  • don't get mad but when i saw this Vid the first time.... i thought of limmings the whole time....... altough the whole story is quite sad

  • great vids , keep them up , going to nihon one day for sure , rther live to high suicide rate country then a one whit high homicide rate , ppl who kills themselves dont hurt others .

  • Just throwing this out there, but suicide is really high in older people in every country. The potential of committing suicide actually goes up depending on how old you are.

  • if i'd really had to chose, i'd prefear suicide rather than being killed by a scum just because getting a gun in the US is easy as getting candies.

  • How do the families or friends usually feel about the person who commits suicide?

  • what country has the highest rate of suicide?

  • isn't the word for suicide called giuketsuki?

  • Mate.....I love yout videos and your comments!!!

  • Man! I use to be soooo confused why they committed suicide I always thought it was because of economy, bullying, or even depression which it is...But I mean I did not know that they believed in a religion which didn't really involve going to hell after suicide. Great job mate :)

    Cheers

  • Hey new watcher to your videos. My question for you is do you speak Japanese fluently? And if so how long did it take you to learn the language?

  • I totally agree with waverider201. Well done. I cannot believe people still have anger over a war that happened over 65 years ago, with all the non-sense wars going on today. I am an American man married to a Japanese woman and we sometimes discuss WWII among others, but there is never any animosity towards each other because of it. In fact, we both get a good point of view from both sides

  • Well done. This was one tricky and interesting subject that you touched with flair and grace. I've always appreciated your videos and works and you have my utmost admiration. Let the haters hate, they aren't standing on solid ground in the first place. Those of us who have come to respect your views and knowledge appreciate your effort in trying to share so much of the country we all love. Thank you.

  • @waverider201

    Nice.

    Thank you!

  • @TheJapanChannelDcom You are welcome anytime, mate. Just keep doing what you have always been doing so well. You're love for Japan really shows through your videos and we are all extremely privileged to see Japan through the eyes of one with passion. Cheers.

  • @TheJapanChannelDcom You delete insulting comments from your videos apparently, but I have to bring to your attention that I find the highest rated comment on this video highly insulting -- but it's not only not deleted, it's the highest rated comment. Please remember double standards. Maybe the United States is really a "big fart bully" (as I think you stated in some other video) so does that entitle the people on your vids a green light to dump on my country?

  • Doesn't some suicide occur at young age because of children being bullied for not fitting in their group?

  • I think that sucks that Japanese society has to act happy and positive all the time while people who are truly suffering can't go to one another for help. So if you don't conform, succeed or work in society you have the option of offing yourself. I find that sickening but on the other hand can understand it in some way.

  • The justification of suicide in Japan (by those who commit / attempt it) bears a remarkable adherence to Durkheim's thesis of Altruistic Suicide, which states that social integration into a community affects the individual thus dictating the reasoning behind what they do (example of this is the concept of honour and shame)

This is of course a simplification of it and I know not of any modern research that has dwelled upon it, but I think it interesting to look at.

  • I have a little question. is this research data/list of countries by the rate of suicide(from the year 2009) posted anywhere on internet? because i'd really like to take a look at it and to compare (for myself) it with the list posted on wikipedia

(i'm from Lithuania, so i'm curious if our situation has worsened or gotten at least slightly better)

  • interesting topic my Uncle Beverly was in the Battaan March and both sides Japan and America did things that were wrong. as for suicide I believe in it but not when your so young and vibrant. If you have a fatal disease I sure wouldnt want to continue to live.

  • i wonder why people hate on a japan (or any other country for that matter) when they havent experience it first hand, and only go by the "he she said" bullshit, now if they have been to japan and left with a bad impression all anyone can say is sorry and you have your right to your opinion but why watch videos about a country you despise so much?! or mabey they just have "american syndrome" where they think america is the only hospitable place to live and/or best place to live pshh bullshit

  • Buddhism doesn't promote nor does it encourage suicide!!!! Dont' know about other religions.

  • I wonder how many Japanese still worry about stuff like Bushido. I wouldn't be surprised if it's focused on a lot more by Westerners.

  • @0gami1tto

They don't worry about it.. but most of them maintain many of the values..

Honor, trying one's best and so on.

  • @0gami1tto

    you should read

    inazo nitobe´s book "bushido".

it helped me a lot to understand some of the japanese values a little bit better.

i think the teachings of bushido are still alive in japanese society.

  • I must say, once again, japanese culture is seeming very similar to middle class British culture. Same with your videos on 'being rude'

  • Okay, people can say Japanese people commit suicide all the time, but hey-- they still have a higher life expectancy, lmao, so whatevs I guess. Thanks again for another video- there will always be haters, but they're usually ignorant people who have never been to Japan.

  • I kind of understand the suicide thing seeing as how i find Bushido to be one of best moral codes ever thought up and i find the samurai culture to be very inspiring.

  • I heard that the Japanese Gov. and businesses were charging the families of people who commit suicide a fine because they have to "pick up the mess." For example, if they jump in front of a train, JR charges the family a fine because they have to stall the trains to pick it up. Is this true and if so, do you believe that its fair?

  • Maybe it is part of their materialistic life style, not even all their high tech gadgets and technology makes them happy, and since they dont have religion, they can't turn on to a superior being for relief. They wont talk to a human geing since they are so shy, or dont like to bring other ppl down, like you say.

They are hollow ppl, but that's the way it is, that's their culture, bushido.

  • What are their attitudes towards prescription drugs? I am wondering if making a mild anti depresant avaliable in a vending machine where people could get it without anyone knowing might help. Then again those tend to be dangerous if not monitored. Just a thought.

  • I greatly admire your videos! I hope someday I myself may be able to visit this awesome country!

  • @HareLipPowerTrip

    Thank you!

  • @NorthSea0il :O Most Americans I know have nothing against Japan

  • @NorthSea0il Not wise. Way to box us Americans in. Like America has a monopoly on idiots...wow. Well, I happen to enjoy these videos and I admire good things from many cultures. Perhaps one day you will become more open and not so quick to judge Americans so harshly. Peace and best wishes.

  • @NorthSea0il apparently you've never heard of china

  • @lahfielxi China..... what's that??????

  • @NorthSea0il I understand your comment but that has a hypocritical hint to it.

  • @MissBexia "hypocritical" care to elaborate?

  • @NorthSea0il Oh it's just that japan haters are brought up by stereotyping and generalizing one nationality from one groups actions, but when you say that haters are 90% American, it seems like a generalization that Americans are ignorant Japanese haters. I understand where the stereotyping comes from but adding to the stereotyping doesn't really help anything. I may be bias b/c I am an asian american but it's just a thought.
