Eh, I disagree with your overall opinions of FFDP, I do think you at least make some fair points. Their lyrics could be allot better in places, however I don't so much mind the swearing. It adds to the general aggression and raw emotion put into the songs. Also, the Pride is a song basically about group identification. So naming various faces of corporations kinda makes sense in how we all give ourselves a sense of identity to the things we enjoy.

Both reviewed albums are amazing! I will admit I am a FFDP fan and love this album. Their older stuff is better, but overall the new album was ok in my eyes

FFDP sounds amazing live motherfucker and yea i do admit the lyrics have gone down a notch in this album.. BUT the amazing vocalization, riffs.. and overall sound is what made the album what it is.. i totally think that the actual sound/melody makes up for the lacking lyrics,

what about "back for more" or "Coming Down " it seams that your only focusing on this one song that makes it bad. if you would take the time and talk about all the song, would respect your opinion, but it seems your only focusing on "100 ways to hate"

@chardude I mentioned three that i didn't like by name: Under and Over it, The Pride, and 100 ways to hate. The last one really got to me, and the rest of the album was boring. And let's be honest: If i went track by track people would be bored to tears. I think a lot of the problems with 100 ways are true of a lot of songs on the album. I think the lyrics are not just angry, but bitchy. But that's just how I felt. And you don't have to respect my opinion. Just kinda throwing it out there.

I can see what you're saying, but you picked that you hate the song 100 ways t hate, because of the vulgarity, but that's the only song like that on the album, it seems like every song on the album is different than the others, this song had the feeling of Intense hatrid of someone who's faking all that they do and tries to act tough behind the scenes, but then they have songs like remember Everything which is a soft and sadder toned song. Sorry not every song's perfect.

FFDP isn't even Metal to me. They are loud pop. And shitty to boot. It's more than undeniable to me that these lyrics were indeed incredibly lazy. It seems most of their fans must have the intellectual range of a walnut. But I should expect this from people who defend frat boys.I think you did this review a great justice. Im a huge 5fdp fan and i could'nt agree more. I love way of the fist because of how raw it sounds. I really liked war is the answer because it seemed like they tried something a little different in thier sound and in my opinion it worked. But iv tried to listen to this album many times because im a big fan, but the shits just not sticking...sounds like way of the fist but watered down

@FFDPfan2011 What TheGessNation is saying is that the album is getting too highly of reviews than it should. The age old quesion of "WHAT IS ART?" comes to play here. I'm sure the band worked hard on the album but people should be opinionated. Sure opinions are like assholes, but the real assholes are the industry that grades and labels an album good or bad or even legendary when the fans should stick to that.
