  • wtf man, arnie was a good guy who loves his car.a lot ,and then a bunch of idiots started to hate on christine.this is shit, but anyway i saw metal moving......christine it's alive

  • they should make a part 2

  • I absolutely love this finale. Nothing could symbolize the life force behind this car better than using "Rock N' Roll Is Here to Stay" as Christine's death cry.

  • OK this fucking shits. they would not let Arnie have his happiness, and he's dead all because of them. fucking shit dude

  • One of the few movies where I'm rootin' for the villain. Get 'em Christine!!!

  • whtas thats song called when christines getting run over

  • @dskjhgr Is it really that hard to just look up the lyrics on Google? It's called Rock And Roll Is Here To Stay by Danny And The Juniors.

  • @DevastationFilms well excuse me that i asked and thank you

  • @dskjhgr Well just think about it... You could either look up the lyrics and find the song in under a minute or you could ask what the song is and wait forever for a reply (if any). Just trying to help. :)

  • Wait, what was Arny doing in that car?

  • 2:16 epic ending!!!!!

  • she'll be back

  • @k5lta Should have killed her with fire, no?

  • fire can't kill her either lol..lava or something like that, possession is hard to kill.

  • True evil never dies. ;)

  • Lon time no see. Great movie, great book also. Great special effect, looks still very real and scary..

  • wtf! a tractor fucking a car doggy syle!!

  • i heard during a documentary on this movie, that this car was run over by the bulldozer 18 times, and afterwords, the engine still started up and ran like an s.o.b. that's plymouth motors for ya. they don't make 'em like that anymore.

  • @TheTxBandit Mopar = Epic Win

  • They should've melted it after cubing it.

  • @vodkagal28 ...and it would've come back as killer toasters & electric coffee pots.

  • @TheTxBandit lol

  • simply loved it !!!!!!!! I thought I would never see this film, but thanks to your good taste can review this wonder that to will always live in our hearts ... thank you and congratulations !!!!!! !!!!!!!!!

  • awsome movie , thanks for upload it.

  • Gosh, what did that car ever do to anybody?

  • awsommmme movie ! but the book was better ;)

  • Comment removed

  • this actually scared me!

  • Thanks for actually posting the end credits. I hate when people exclude them.

  • i started reading to book said fuck it and watch this movie lmao

  • my grandpa had a 1958 plymoth i think.

  • but hey :P i've got a audi 80, cabriolet.. she does remind me at this movie xD... and she also qute....not!!! evil audi

  • we had a black/white one (or better: my father had). and i was proud how the classmate looked, when we drove around. when the oil shock came, we had to sell it. too big, too expensive, too thirsty. now, today, i think we would have a piece of jewelry. it was in the 70s, when everything which was more than 10 yeras old was an antique, worth to replace it.

  • Christine lives forever

  • Nothing cant stop her

  • Just wait in 2011 theyre making a remake in fucking 3D, Oh goody thatll be shit well done why not try even harder to ruin this films good name! Half of all films now are remakes all the talent and origonality has gone!

  • @samj5664 damn right, well said. Even this 83 horror movie can top any today's movie.

  • @porkisgood4u Thanks friend!

  • @samj5664 oh know!!!!! FUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @PontiacPOWA in deed!

  • @samj5664 agreed, remakes of 80s movies are down-right a disgrace to all us true movie fans

  • @Getsch4Life I know the worst ones are where they combine two or more films, Alien Vs Predator or Freddie Vs Jason or vice versa, I dont know which.

  • @samj5664 true! funny thing is i was just having a conversion tonight about how hollywood continues to fail miserably at a sequel to predator. My theory.............. if Arnold can barely beat 1, well im sure that's statement is self-explanatory

  • @Getsch4Life Yeah thats true lol. Ill be telling my college friend that one, I cant stand those remakes... The only good one is Dawn of the dead

  • @samj5664 are you serious? that sounds awesome! this movie is one of my favorites as it is, hope the remake can live up to it...

  • @samj5664 and then there's the distinct possibility that it will suck, too...

  • why was there never a part two someone should do a remake with a supercharged mustang called sally now thats bad ass

  • Wow they fucked that car up.. I wonder how much original parts they ruined during the making of this.. Ahh well it's a good movie regardless.

  • I bet Christine would've kicked so much ass if she were cast in 'Maximum Overdrive'.

  • Christine has BALLS OF STE...wait...no, i don't think that's right xD

  • It makes me weep to know they wrecked originals for this

  • Nice movie!

It's different from the book but still very exciting, makes you jump up from the chair at times.

Thank you so much for uploading it DevastationFilms!

  • they should make part2! i love this movie!

  • Aw Christ, it kills me to see her crushed like that :( I had the pleasure of seeing one of the cars they used for the film in real life at last year's scream fest. Absolutely beautiful.

  • @EdieNippoli LOL, they did the same with a series of Dodge Challenger vehicles from Vanishing Point ('71). But yeah I agree a perfectly good possessed car. I'm surprised we never saw a Christine 2 out of this.

  • Thanks for uploading this film :) gonna read the book now :)

  • Thank you for posting this film.

I really enjoy it. Very sad ending of the nerdy kid/ Christine killed, but,

that's how you hurt people that way.

Stephen King and John Carpenter, GREAT JOB!

  • what is that song playing on the radio that guy was holding?

  • @MagicJ28 richie valens - come on lets go

  • the best bit is just the twich of the metal is that the crushers work as it unfolds or is it christine comming back, just an idea like they did with disney cars why not have special geast christne?

  • all hail the king Stephen King f@#$ that Twilight bulls@#$

  • @rekrings DEFINITELY the films of the 80s and 90s were much better!

  • @4dhu78889

It's the whole of the media.

Everybody got turned into chickens by the interwebs.

How utterly boring. Long live multimedia, long live rock'n'roll etc.

  • 2:23 - I'll Be Back, Worms!

  • Cool i want a Car that can repair itself even after being crushed life that

  • best possessed car movie ever. classic

  • amazing movie. i need it on dvd.

  • RAD songs called Bad To The Bone By George Thorogood Great quality

  • You know Christene liked it.

    Rule 34.

  • @doubleKlutch whats rule 34?

  • @DrOrtmeyer

    34. There is pron of it. No exceptions. [Courtesy of /b/ ]

  • Fucking awesome.

  • thanks for posting htis movie...i had never seen it. Great quality!

  • crazy stuff---don't see why so many curse words had to be in it--but then again all of stephen king's writing is that way too---

  • The book is better!

    Really better & fantastic!

I found this movie boring :( It's pity!

  • gotta love george thorogood starting and ending it

  • excellent movie, thanks for uploading it i finished watching it and it has better quality than when i saw it years ago lol gotta get it on bluray ( if there is on it)

in fact christine is a beautifull car, pretty dangerous though as every used car you might buy lol

  • Don't warry, I'll Be Back.

  • Christine is the Terminator disgusied as a Car. Thumbs up if you agree.

  • 2:24 Christine is just gonna repair he shelf again.

  • This movie shows why you sould never get a used car.

  • thorogood ftw

  • that was really good!!!!

  • The best part of the book, which they could have included in the movie ,is Dennis riding in the car with Arnie, and the car takes them back to the 50s. And all the people the car killed over the years appear in the back seat for awhile.

  • classic! thanx 4 uploading

  • I love this movie. It is one of my favorites. I would love to have my own Christine

  • almost felt sorry for the wrecked car...wish she were mine >:)

  • excellent ending

    thanks for the upload

i haven't seen this flick since i was 15, now im 24 XD

  • I remember going to the movies to see this when it first came out in 1983.

  • @noslack1964 I would have loved to see this in theaters. The 70's and 80's were a brilliant and groundbreaking time for horror films. Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Friday The 13th, Nightmare On Elm Street and many more. Definitely was the golden era of horror films.

  • Pretty good movie.. A few things I don't understand though. Like if the meter runs backward, how did Roland first get the car with 16 on it? And why didn't Christine repair herself when she was sitting in George's yard? But oh well, still good. I wish they'd remake it though to stick the the original plot a bit more :/

  • @LoveAtTwilight ok in the book christine wasnt possed till lebays daughter died in her an then the wife which there tormented souls together made christine who she is, the meter runs backwards so she can regenerate herself. Like when you buy a newcar with 0 miles on it, it runs like a dream. Christine had to stay that way, course lebay got old an stopped caring for chrisstinefor 10yrs straight (back condition) and he sold the car to arnie

  • that song Christine plays when she first repairs then get squashed what`s the name of the song because i cant find it on youtube?

  • christine should've lived to kill more

  • @RoberTastic She did! Ish. If you read the book, there's this little 'outtro' (can't remember name. Exit prequel?) Which tells you that Leigh and Dude split up and move to opposite ends of the country, and He hears of these mysterious killings that are exactly like everyone's here, and the sites are slowly making their way towards...HER!

  • Thanks for sharing. I just finished reading the book and wanted to see the film

  • best film ever

  • She is fucking unkillable, the only way to kill her would either to take apart all the parts and hide them on all 7 different continents each a thousand mile apart, or to melt her like they did with the terminator

  • @MultiAREE but wat if she came back as a lava fury

  • @szombies hehe.... Then just like take apart the engine, and shoot it with a ray gun, and then melt it apart, and put it in in a force field box, and if she moves after a year, just like throw a nuke at it, and send it to the moon, and since gasoline engines require oxygen, she'l just choke to death

  • @MultiAREE lol u must have thought dis all the way through

  • @szombies Yeh, dat's how fucking smart i am

  • Christine is Bad ass, and Bad to the Bone, I love this Movie, Thank You DevastationFilms for this post , you are awesome.:o)

  • After all they been throught im sure they would hate ritches valesn com on lets go

  • Probably one of the best horror movies I've seen in my time.

  • Christine must be a distant relative of the T 1000 The way she just reforms her self.

  • basszus a vége... a krapek meg ott megy a magnóval xD

  • For some reason I always feel sad for Christine in the end, when they zoom in at her. It's so sad :(

    Good Movie! 5/5 stars!

  • wats 1:13 supost to mean? Motor and tranny coming through the grill?

  • 1:28 you think that trash cube could smash a person at instant?

  • probabily. But there would be no chance 4 survival lol

  • 0:27 - 1:25 -Poor Cristine :(

  • book or movie i choose book

  • They used to make good movies in the seventies ! ...

  • This is 1983. ;)

  • Stupid I feel !... :D

  • that was nothing like the book :( but it was an ok movie i guess

  • @CelkateProductions This is only a little like the book to avoid lawsuits. Check wikipedia.

  • so sad to watch a beautiful fury get wrecked that many times

  • whats the name of the song at the end? starts at at 2:26

  • ahh thats a gag how that little piece of metal on christine moved like "o shit"

and too bad christine was psycho.. real badass car :(

  • hey! junkins isnt dead!!!! wth!!

  • Comment removed

  • in the book, Christine, surprise, repairs and kills Dennis in the epilogue after 4 years. they should of obliterated the cube while they had the chance.

  • Why not just melt the cube down?

  • @Shadowcretin why not just let Arnie have his gem and be done? i don't understand why they did not leave well enough be. i mean the car would not kill anyone unless they deserved it, no?

  • @80stvfan09 Because Arnie was turning psycho and he was becoming a threat to himself. His friends tried to save him, but love is ALOT stronger than friendship, which is why Arnie made a few sly threats toward Dennis.

  • @EclipseHedgehog

no christine does not kill dennis it just said that sandy was dead and that he (dennis) wuz wondering if christine would go after leigh THEN him

    king doesnt kill dennis.....yet >:D

  • Did this movie use CG's and stuff? or did they really destroyed the red plymouth

  • @yohsukenakano Except for flicks about video games like Tron and Nightmares, cgi was very minimal. Took this quote from a site: "...This was achieved by the FX crew placing hydraulic pumps all around the car, under the body panels, and then causing it to compress and crush. Then, the footage was played back in reverse to give the illusion that the car was reforming."

  • they destroyed all the cars in there. 25 cars were used to make that movie. too bad to see such a beautiful car get destroyed. But they made a hell of a movie :)

  • Actually, correction. They only bought 23 and of those 23 only 16 were used for filming. The rest were used for spare parts. But you are right, still a shame to know so many were trashed. But all in all, an excellent film.

  • Thanks for correcting me :) And yes it is a great movie ;D i loved it :D

  • @JoJaDaCo before the movie, everyone had forgotten about the plymouth fury. the sacrifice of the ones used in Christine saved the rest from destruction.

  • the book waz awesomer than the movie

  • bad to the bone!!!!

  • "rest in peace arnie, i love you man"

-Dennis's final words to arnie in the book.

  • USA! No jap car could do that.

  • @Razersun correction...toyotas do it all the time now...sumhow this little fury found them an made them her minoins...

  • Christine was a real badass car! I heard they once considered making a sequel, I kind of wish they had.

  • stephen king rules

  • First time I watched this, alone and perhaps a little heady with marijuana, that final showdown quite literally gave me a panic attack.

The conviction that the car was indestructable, together with the realization that the menace was un-namable, topped of by the inappropriately cheerful tune... all these elements combined gave my nerves a right old jangling despite being a hardened horror movie buff. Damn you, John Carpenter!

  • @cottonwhiskersuk

    L.O.L.

  • @cottonwhiskersuk This may be a late response, but the song is very appropriate. The only way Christine can communicate is through old 50's songs, and "Rock n roll is here to stay" is her way of telling Dennis and Leigh that they can't kill her and she'll be around forever. Just like it was singing "Little bitty pretty one" to Moochie because she intended to smash him into "little bitty" pieces.

  • @cottonwhiskersuk plant fo life

  • freakin awesome movie 8D

  • Poor christine...anyway they should have learnt that christine cant be killed by being bumped or crused...

and now shes angry, willing for revenge...

  • christine can never die love this movie

  • @machone7I

Yeah it was sad what they had done to her :( btw I didn't think Rock'n'roll could be so... frightening ;P

    Great movie!

  • @Afro70s i actually am in christine's side, and i want her to kill them all... what does scare me in reality is how many beautiful belvederes were destroyed to make such a film. its my 2nd favourite one, but still makes me sad to think of those belvederes that werte destroyed.

  • @machone7I We all know what that means: SEQUEL! :D

  • @TraustiGeir yeah... the problem is they do a remake with overdone special effects, destroying all the plot you see in this film and with a car that isnt a plymouth fury... like they did with 60 seconds. they ruined the original mach 1 eleanor's fame to give birth to that tuned mustang with a horribly ugly front that ended up burrying the mach 1's fame.

  • @machone7I I hear you. Maybe it's best to let classics be classics without any tampering.

  • poor Fury wat a beauty of a car , this part always makes me cry :(

  • @xSingForTheSorrowx yeah wait untill they melt her ass down and make her in to car parts xD then there will be more possessed cars to go around

  • Her grill moving at the end is Christine's way of saying,"I'll be back!" Or,"I'm not finished with you yet" Or,"I'm not as dead as you think!" Who knows what goes through a crazy bitches mind!

  • Transformers had 2 get there idea from somewhere.'''

  • poor arnie man he was a pretty cool dude

  • Poor Belvedere/Fury... tsc tsc

  • The car looks like it's being raped by that tractor.

  • The point with Christine and his current owner(Arnie or the previous)is that she needs that living persons love and hatedredd to be able to cause bad things. She kind spells the owner with her "un-dying" love. But if the person is dead, there´s no use for Christine.Like a woman, always looking new victim ;)

  • the only way they can keep her from comming back is if they plant a tank or something that weighs tons on her....

  • How about cutting her to many pieces and then ship them to different parts of the world.

  • if you read the book they tried that.... but........

  • dont worry, it's just a movie, but I'm sure if this happens in real life someone will call you for your expertise

  • That was always my recommendation to destroy the T-1000 lol

  • @BleedingGrafitti no... you don't want her coming back AND armed...
