The friends of mine from Marseille showed me the coast near Marseille: Les Callanques, Cassis...- to compare with the coast where we have meet each other: Adriatic coast. Yes, it IS beautiful- as well as our Adriatic coast from Senj until the islands Rab, Pag...(the northern part).

Sorry but French Riviera begins at Cannes and not in Cassis.

From Cassis to Cannes you're still in Provence.

Then Saint Tropez is not on the French Riviera? And the Côte d'Azur is Cannes - Monaco? That's a position some tourist offices defend, but it doesn't look fair to me.

By the way, I never said Marseille is on the French riviera.
