The G band didnt write this song as in tell him but they covered it on their album HEY! and Hello nicked their version and had a big hit with it in 74/75.

yeah it's great music by the Glitterband but i am offended when you can't get the title right THERE IS NO SUCH SONG AS THE HEY SONG THE GLITTERBAND FIRST AIBUM WAS TITLED HEY> The song they are singing is Rock and Roll part2.
