it is ER-200, bulid in soviet Latvia, the first.. and the only high-speed train in USSR, max speed 200km/h

I'm an American who took a 12 hour train trip in Russia over the summer and found it to be a very refreshing experience -- almost like going back in time. The train I was on was very clean and it was cool how people changed into sleep wear, shared food, drank tea, etc. However, I could not help but wonder how long it will take before the Russia government develops a more modern infrastructure of airports & superhighways desperately needed to attract foreign investment & much needed jobs.

I think flag and anthem are inappropriate here. Why do people always nationalize videos about Russia?They always have political elements. Just make the video about their great culture

After Marshall Plan came, eastern block also set Mutual Economic Help Council.

So, USSR focused on cargo electric locos (VL-** series after Vladimir Lenin) and CZechoSlovakia was assigned to build passenger electro loco's

very interesting indeed I enjoyed my time there rideing on the Russian railways and the variety of old locomotives even some steam I plan to return there in June for more all by old steam locomotives
