  • I've heard every banjo on Youtube (some not all the way through) There's two I like the most. Yours and; Youtube, "My new banjo dp hopkins" All three have a nasty, snarly sound I love so much. Thanks

  • i dont rememb what its named in english but that things you tune the strings with you kno?? i always wondered what do u use the one on the banjo neck side to??

  • Reach up pinch your nose, make a banjo sound and you'll have the exact sound of your banjos. Put the original tone rings back in both.

  • the new one is brighter and poppyer(is that a word?) but I like the fullness and depth of the pre-war

  • i`ve let the video download all the way an went back and forth and the newer banjo has more overtones and maybe a tad louder than the prewar ..... they sound almost identical though. thanx for the post

  • The first banjo has way more midrange punch...3rd string is much stronger. Sounds like the head was tighter on the 2nd banjo. I'd like to hear the RB3 with the original ring in it.

  • I hate to say this, but i actually like the rb3. GAAAHHHHH that hurts....

  • Because you like both of them and can only have one, I'll let you pick whichever one you like best, then send me the remaining banjo...LOL. They both sound super. The prewar is just a bit less sharper, so it's a matter of what one prefers. Keep them both if you can.

  • Great Chicken Neck!

  • TB-2 has a deep more seasoned sound and the RB-3 has a bright tone.

  • Thank you for uploading a YouTube sample of the HR-30, man! I have been loathe to find any good sound recordings anywhere, and I really appreciate this project! More people need to watch this. I am going to post this as a link on my FaceBook site and give you some more views!

  • they both sound good, and I know your banjo will help you while away the time while you are overseas....Good Luck to you my friend...and be safe and keep pickin,

  • The pre-war's got a bit more depth and warmth.

  • I agree with Mr Hedrick there, but they both sure sound great. Thanks for your service too.

  • They both sound GREAT to me! I'd be tickled with either banjo.

Thank you for your service to our country and thank God for all you guys and gals in the military.

  • @bluegrassbobmiller Hooah, Airborne!

  • Two nasty banjos my friend.

  • @nasty5oh Thanks!

  • Hedrick here.......the 2 is mature, we know why. The 3 sounds more on the surface,BUT will entertain both you and the troops, GOD BLESS YOU...BE SAFE.

  • @DavidHedrick thanks bro! looking forward to meeting you when I get home.
