Also, India/Spain was ruled by the muslims, history bares witness that if muslims or islam as a religion was radical all the people residing in these countries will be muslims.

To understand the fundamentals of a religion do not look at the people practicing the religion BUT look at the scriptures.
I have read the muslim scriptures and the amount of respect given to women there is just too great. I would really advice you to read up their scriptures before bashing them. Some muslims are nut jobs no doubt, but not religion.

For example, no where does the Bible state that Jesus was born on 25th December. Also, Bible says that Christians had to not eat meat on Fridays and worship god on Friday.
However, through the course of time Sunday has become the day of worship, Friday is not.
Eating pork, being drunk and adultery has gotten common completely against the bible.
As can be seen the religion evolved and the changes were to accommodate the evil nature of humans.

Buddy I am not a Muslim. But I gotta say that Islam is not a radical religion as Media portrays it. A religion that puts heaven beneath the feet of a mother, or has the word "peace" in its name cannot be radical.
