Well first off it is, and second off what you say sounds "Dischordant" (BTW not even a word) are probably just non-chord tones. Also, the tempo in the violin sounds fine, being a little behind the beat is fine, presumably because this is the rock genre of music.
From 0:44 to 1:21, the violin playing sounds so dischordant to the rest of the band. The violin doesn't rise as it should, it just saws out sound. It seems like they are out of time, as well. This whole song, the people sound as though they are bored of playing it. Well, if they aren't interested, then I'm not gonna stick around either.
@red23blue1 just because its not the sound you want to hear doesn't mean its not the exact sound that the unicorns wanted. keep an open mind when listening to music. the idea that music has to follow a certain set of rules is what's responsible for the boring shit that plays on the radio
