  • @KKKSuperFan

Turks? it was the Goths and Huns that over-ran Rome.

You can thank China for being too strong at that time, so the Goths destroyed STONE houses for shit wooden ones and mystical men in clouds that don't exist. (Norse gods.)

  • THERE CAN ONLY BE ONE!!!! and i guess we all die by chuck norris so he's the only one left

  • The jews who were the first to divide the world by "we and them" wanted to rule, but reality was different, their terrorist leaders - crucified. They went out of reality even further - dreaming that one of the terrorist leaders will come from the dead with superpowers to slaughter the hated Romans (non-jews). But he was not coming, so they used the fear from the unknown, lies and forged a SUICIDAL mind virus - to submit the hated goim to a jewish zombie king turning them into sheep and victims.

  • This is what will eventually happen to the U.S Rome began it's decline when it's treasury was being wiped out and its army growing increasingly powerless, well the U.S is getting deeper into debt infact we can't even pay off the interest off our loans eventually the U.S will fall but it MIGHT still live but with less land and a new world power.

  • @YouJustGotPwnedFewl your right it will fall by all the deficit problems but they won't lose land it's highly unlikely. and they don't even occupied other countries.

  • me Romandarkage of the Ages LOL

  • Byzantine is not Rome. Rome died when people's once free minds were submitted to the jewish mind virus which persuaded all non-jews that to be sheep and victim is really cool, using the fear from the unknown. Imagine now the muslims expect bin Laden to come from the dead, but he is not coming, then they say: one muslim was killed by mistake, he was not a terrorist, he came from the dead, and was son of god. All filthy non-muslims you are sinners by default. Submit and become sheep and victims.

  • Eastern Roman Emperor: " Rome may have falling, but we still live on, we can still bring back the Roman Empire, just believe."

  • Romans had over one quater of the worlds population under their culture. The British Empire had less. Not more people, not at all.

Not only that, but the Romans were the only Empire who fought and conqured other superpowers of the time. The British chose undefended homelands.

  • The Roman Empire did not fall because of the Eastern front in 1453. Rome went from the dark ages into the Modern Ages that was woven into the Renaissance followed by Italian Exporers such as Caboto, Columbo, Vespucci, etc. all born in Italy and commissioned by the Spaniards in the 15th Century and later moving in the 19th Century with Italian inventions such as: the radio, telephone, 2 cynlinder engine by(Bursanti) the electric battery and recently in 1970 the Micro Processor intel 4004. patent

  • Rome didnt deserve to fall.... but... i never realy fell the eastern roman empire lived on untill around 1450 A.D, so the roman empire was the longest lived empire in history the eastern half was renamed the Byzantine Empire and the legesy lived on, ROME HAS NOT FALLING AND WILL NEVER FALL!!!!

  • wow u got this song from the movie glatiator!

  • ROME TOTAL WAR FAIL

  • The Brittish empire was the largest with 33,7 million km², with the Mongol being the largest contiguous empire at 33,0 million km².

Spains falls behind with 20,0. Rome with 6,5.

    So bla to that comment.

  • @SirScourge Watched that comment and thought of the exact same thing! :D

  • roman civilazation was a copy from the greeks...just look the architecture of the buildings...the gods they believed to...their way of dressing...the sculptures they made....everything was taken by the greeks...they only thing they were different to was the military development they managed to achieve ...thats why they did spread the roman (for me greek) civilazation around the world...but to be honest i respect the romans...but you must admit that it was a copy of greek civilazation

  • long live rome total war game ilove these scene there

  • Rome was Glory. They exceded the World's expectations in INCREDIBLY advancing technologically in only 500 years. They went from crap to marble in 500 years. That's impressive. It took China about 300 years longer to really begin to utilize stonework, not to mention marble. Caesar Augustus was the truest Roman. The Romans, in my opinion, are the most admirable civilizations in history. I don't care about you other people who disagree. I could just say: Justin Bieber sux lol, but I chose to try.

  • @yoshi8869 DAmned STRAIT! Glory be to Rome! Stupid Chinese invented gunpowder and didn't think to make no guns. WE ion the hand went from gun powder to H bombs in less than 500 years!! It time we start using that sheeiat on the world and stop bein pussys

  • I'm half roman...This empire will be brought back to life one day and will last for ever!

  • @nemphis95 lol

  • @nemphis95

    HAIL CAESAR! HAIL CAESAR!!!

I'm 3/4s Illyrian and am ready to sign up for the Imperial Legions RIGHt NOW as feoderotti. F all yal allmutha uckers,. Caligula the 98th will be pishing on yo' MOMA!!!

  • I still would take rome at its prime over those musim fools or even alexanders army when he was king i'd like to see an islamic army stand up to them

  • no the biggest empire was the mongol empire

  • @GuustDaanProductions

    You're right

  • Music from The Gladiator ending... Really suits this event. Very sad

  • Music from The Gladiator ending.

  • Sadly, nobody claims the great title of Augustus. I know that Charles V, Holy Roman Emperor is also the titular Byzantine (East Roman) Emperor (his father bought the title from the Palaiologos dynasty in-exile). His descendants could claim the throne.

  • Rome never fell....it evolved.

  • @koopakid10 (sorry...my internet is acting weird so i have to post multiple times)

    Cultural Evidences:

Latin evolved into many international languages such as Spanish, French, Italian, Catalan etc.

Roman inventions were not forgotten nor disused, and is still used until today.

Moreover, the Eastern Roman Empire continued the "flag" of Roman culture for another 1000 years, and the Holy Roman Empire also existed to "unify" Germany and Italy (north).

  • i think rome never died because, there was the easteren empire that ruled many years bryzatinen empire and then you have im not sure holy roman empire but the romans never died because they still hold italie dont they :P and they where just the best guys in the world but i think commander and stuff alexander the great because he did the most in his own and he fought is own battles!

  • @hermanuslinssen ...............yes?......

  • @hermanuslinssen , idk about rome but the roman empire fell after the byzentines fell against the turks during the middle ages.

  • @guardman12345 ok :)

  • @hermanuslinssen xD you mean best in the west

  • Rome never die.

The west/European area in terms of territory are huge If you look at the world map, if you think at Russia like an European country, the non-western part is virtually only Africa (north because middle have no population and south is western) China and India.

In terms of culture, all the world apart some Arab people/country follow the western culture trend. And I hope this new western cultural empire will never fall.

  • Roma Caput Mundi!

  • Nothing is Permanent.....everything has limits.

  • I would never watch this but since its my homework i got no choice lol

  • gladiator track awesome!!!!!

  • unfortunately the greek , rome and arab empires and civilizations all ended for the same reason , they all fallen into dark ages .

thanks for the video i enjoyed it and the music is so beautiful .

  • Whats this shit about Parthia? Firstly they were over thrown by the Sassanids in the 3rd century. Secondly the eastern roman empire survived as the byzantine empire till 1400's AD when it was destroyed by Turks, so you can't blame the Persians.

Also, China's Army's was not only bigger, they were also based almost completely on Horse Archers, against which Romans couldn't defend. China was far more advanced than Rome, in Infastructure and military.

  • @YamirAshraf learn your history,

the chinese army of the time was ill organized and was by far not as disciplined as the roman army.

and what you are reffering to is the battle of carrhea.

yes the romans suffered a defeat there, BUT as they are romans, they learned from it and they developed new tactics.

therefore the romans oftenly added more archers of their own to the ranks to confront those horse archers and they would have an assured victory

  • @bartieboy93

ok yeah i know i over exaggerated saying that they took over the word. but my opinion is. Islamic empire still the greatest empire of all time because it has the capability to revive itself. which empire in the world today can revive itself in this modern era? and when it does Revive it will spread and take over the whole world. that's why the Illuminati is attacking the Muslims and Islam to prevent a revival of a Khilafah state.

  • @JawiiJiwaa hmm again i have to disagree,

they power of the islamic empire declined since the age of gunpowder since in their culture it was not honourable to fight with anything else then the classical bow sword , shield etc.

the main reason that islamic states of today have power is because of their oil.

in lots of country's argiculture is not very effective because of the draught and as far as a i know the industrial power isnt that well developed to.

luckily for them there is still oil :)

  • @bartieboy93

The first Islamic Khilafah that was established never heard of oil. it wasn't discovered until the early modern era. so oil is not significant.

there is no islamic state today

  • @JawiiJiwaa oh im sorry i didnt realy understand you were talking about the khilafah,

i have not realy read a lot about the history of the islamic states (except the ottoman empire) so...

  • @JawiiJiwaa in what way do you mean revive?

  • @bartieboy93

what i mean revive is that The Khilafah as an empire that once existed has the capability to reestablish itself, i dont know when exactly but i think its after the time of the major signs of judgment day that will reestablish.. Its an empire that unites all the muslim nations in the world into one big Islamic state.

  • @bartieboy93 Rebuild itself. Flourish. And when it does the Illumanati and their whole dajjal system would realize that everything they have tried was pointless..

Before the Islamic Empire becomes United It will lead to one last war.

which is the Usa (Owned by illuminates) and the other following countries would have a war. Once the war is finished the Islamic Empire would be once again the largest Empire..

  • @knowledgepwns well looking how things are now... european/north american grounds can grow more food :) have a technological advantage of about 20 years,

more population. state and religion seperated,

more united better educated, far more industry, bigger infrastructure...

excuse me if im wrong but if sutch a war occured now then i think those country's dont stand a single chance

  • @YamirAshraf the chinese were superior in everything of course lol

  • Comment removed

  • maybe this will help. search....The Decline And Fall Of The Human Race.

  • The romans were never the strongest thing in the world, even at their height of power. most people do not know of the Parthian empire, which extended across to soutern asia, right up against China. Parthia was allies of China, and use acupuncture to treat battle wounds. Parthia also was the first nation to have electricty, and also destroyed rome, in a sence. the western part of parthia fell apart as the Persian empire revolted, and the citizens became nomads and wandered, and took cities. Lots

  • It's safe to assume the Roman empire/republic was the most powerful state in its time. The Western empire fell because of weak people leading it not because of Parthia. The roman empire was doomed when Rome was sacked by the Visighots(because of weak ruling of emperor Honorius )

  • The Roman empire is actualy the barbarian race. several other nations had acheived huge technological anvances, and since rome beleived that they were superior, they burned it! the romans were responsible for a "dark age" in our knowledge of acnient nations. Rome was not the strongest, it just was famous for taking out many famous nations, such as the greeks. the romans were destroyed by a combination of Barbarians and Parthians, while they were always at threat, never safe.

  • If you take out many famous nations then you are the strongest :) Rome was the center of the world. Romans have made lots of technological advances as well. The Romans were never destroyed by Parthians, the parthian empire fell before the west roman empire. Rome fell because of very weak leadership.

  • As an Imperialist, i will state that I am a HUGE fan of Rome. The Greeks, widely regarded as the greatest thinkers of their age, fell prey to HUGE amounts of infighting... to the point where their city-states were easy prey for Rome. Rome brought a peace to Europe, the Near East and northern Africa the likes of which was not to be seen again until the fall of the Iron Curtain... and that is something to be respected.

  • "As an Imperialist..."? Who are you like Genghis Khan?

  • IMPERIUM ROMANUM SACRUM

  • The Roman Empire

  • Rome collapsed because of low public order.

  • Why did the Roman Empire colapse? Becuse they put Stupid leaders on the throne, and killed the good ones.

  • well that was the west roman empire the east roman empire put the good ones

  • More then 70% of the emperors were killed if you look at a list of Roman emperors. Most of them have been killed by the very guard that sworn to protect the emperor... The praetorian guard.

Anyway the Roman empire will return. Just under the name of the EU.

  • what game is this?

  • rome total war.

  • its the game "rome - total war"

  • All religion is bullshit, get a grip people.

How do you not realise that religions were formed to keep the common man at the bottom of every hierachy system known to man. Religion is a way for the men at the top of this hierachy to use the people at the bottom for what they want. A prime example of this is the crusades. Religion is also the reason why strongly religious countries (particularly in the middle east) are socially behind not so religious countries, because they are oppressed.

  • they called it the Dark Ages thats were Islam flourished through the world. Islam took over half the world the greatest empire that ever lived. It is called the Khilafah (The Islamic Empire)

  • actually the largest and greatest empire that has ever lived is infact the british empire.

  • Largest, yes

Greatest..... depends who was this question directed to

  • @siyco90 Your right about the largest, i woudn't call it the greatest.

  • @siyco90 the largest was the Spanish, the longest lasting was the Chinese Empire. The greatest were the Romans.

  • @btbking British Empire eclipsed the Spanish Empire.

Chinese Empire never really existed. There were a multitude of Chinese states that were unified for a couple centuries before falling into disunity.

  • @beepandbop Yes, China had many dynasties, but more or less the same Empire. From 2000 B.C to 1900 A.D.

Spain had conquered massive amount of land & resources, the only reason why British surpassed them was because Spanish colonies seeked independence, despite having a strong military, they didn't have enough military power to protect so much land, thus losing a large chunk to the Portuguese and narrowly avoiding a massive British invasion in Argentina.

  • @btbking No the Chinese Empires are completely different. Did you forget about the Mongol Occupation or the Manchurian? The Dynasties were more important to the East than the west, to the west a dynasty is a family tree, that tree dies out the country gets a new one, for the far eastern ones its actually their whole goverment built around their Mortal Deity. The Chinese have a long and great history, just not a stable one.

  • @btbking @GuustDaanProductions @EliteHorde Actually i am correct please refer to actual fact, I will now state in land mass who where the top 5 in history.

    1.British Empire - 33.7 million km2 (1923)

    2.Mongol Empire - 33.0 million km2 (1270 or 1309)

    3.Russian Empire - 23.7 million km2 (1866)

    4.Spanish Empire - 20.0 million km2 (ca. 1740-1790)

    5.Qing Empire, China - 14.7 million km2 (1790)

PLEASE READ UP ON YOUR FACTS BEFORE CHALLENGING ME :) THANKS

  • @siyco90 Edited: Great use of Wikipedia.

The British Empire was not the greatest Empire. Most all of "their" land was infact vassalized, or made to be protectorate tributaries. Funny thing about wikipedia is that they don't state this fact. Most countries and territories were goverened by their own political figures the only adjustments the british made was more like a "big brother". Now the Roman Empire actually had full and total control over Roman Controlled lands.

  • not really the greatest if you think about it.

  • @btbking ehhh britsih may be larger i think

  • @btbking The largest by Land, Sea, Population & Economy was the British Empire.

The Spanish Empire was only the fifth largest by land area after the British, Mongol, Russian and Soviet Union.

Spain was the second biggest Sea empire. The 16th biggest by population.

  • @btbking spanish?????

    wattefak?

  • @btbking Not true mate...look it up before spouting it out.

  • @btbking mongol the greatest conquered more land but they were more violent then roman.

  • @siyco90 and the first global empire was the spanish one

  • @siyco90 No the Khilafah had been the greatest empire that has lived following Gingis khans campain though Alexander the Great's empire is second most popular or even first.. The british came later on. Napoleon had then beaten the british until the battle of waterloo..

  • @siyco90 Yeah so go to hell you dirty arab motherfucker!

  • @siyco90 you tell em!

  • @siyco90

    Nop the mongol empire

  • @siyco90 DUHHH i maen really what was he talking about

  • @siyco90 Indeed and I am proud of my family for it cause they were involved with the Creation of the Mightiest Navy in history which was the British Navy they were all beloved by George III and led the Naval department during the Napoleonic Wars. And fought in the Meditterian to help control the French Navy.

  • @Zack2504 If i am correct I believe the mightiest navy in the world is credited to the Americans.

  • @DanMarik I know but I am referring to that of history. Because I know the U.S. Navy is the best in the world but the British was the best in history. They are still great but ours is greater due to our massive ability to produce war materials. In WWII a frigate could be built in just 2 weeks. Aircraft carrier around a month. Shows the true power of our nation during times of war.

  • @Zack2504 Ya but if you say in history.... Technology is always changing. Ihe 18th Century it was the british, 16th Spanish or France depending on era,and before that it was the Danish-Norweigan,>Normans,> Genoans-Pisans,>Venetians,>Frankish Empre,>Roman,>Carthaginian>Greek>Persian. And thats just a list off my head of Euro.

  • @DanMarik Yep I wonder how many more were there but we have yet to discover about it.

  • And also they where not united.

The largest Land Empire was the Mongolian Empire and Siyco is correct the British had the most powerful empire in history.

The islamists(including Muhammed) where more concerned with spoils and winning converts to maintane their empire then they where about spreading tolerance and knowledge.

Thank God for the crusades or Sharia's opression would have most certainly spread the world over

  • the largest empire ever is the Mongolian empire.half world, from china to europe.I love the roman empire history, but the truth is that one

  • the Mongols went to Baghdad and destroyed the culture of Islamic empire at that area. Even the books were thrown into the river until the river turned black form the ink leaking. But the Mongols the conquer after became Muslims and took up the religion of the conquered.

  • yeah, but it still the biggest empire the history of the world has ever seen, but i admit that the roman empire was the best in culture(even if still a little bit from greek),the architecture, the war's formation and everything.they fall 'cause the barbarian, were just...without mercy

  • uh... i think it was the chinese. the romans copy, the chinese invent and innovate.

  • maybe could have invent and innovate.but the biggest empire, they didn'T have culture or something, just kill an da biggest empire.tha's it.The romani empire is the most important 'Cause of the culture and architecture

  • what didn't have the culture? China's influence and culture was well known in east and south east asia. seconldy, the Ancient Chinese was once the most advanced superpowers of their time. from simple innovations to gunpowder. from steel weapons to the very advanced weaponry at their times. i don't think rome has something that could compete with china. not even roman numbers can compete with the chinese millions.

  • invaded China? really, they may get pass the great wall however i doubt they would last against the Han army.

  • Comment removed

  • ofcourse, they ambushed them, the weather was extremely bad, and they couldn't regroup and the germans were using roman weapons.

  • Yes the Germans did. And then Rome returned and taught the Germans a lesson.

  • Chinese didn't have a culture? You are wrong, China had richer culture than that of Europe. Significant? I don't really think so. China didn't need to invade anyone just in proving the power of the Dragon Throne and its might. Many nations in east, south and southeast asia and even the middle east even paid tribute to the Dragon Throne not like Europe in where they have to conquer and colonize to prove their superiority.

  • You are right. The Mongols were also stronger than the Roman Empire. The Mongols were smart because they relied heavily on cavalry and they are huge people. I know the Romans way of fighting is similar to the Greeks.

  • The Roman way of fighting is indeed similar to the Greeks, but what made the Romans so powerful was that they didn't mind changing strategies as they saw fit. It's how they defeated Carthage(Hannibal)

They used the same strategy Hannibal used and attacked Northern Africa(Carthage) with that strategy thus defeating them. They also didn't stop at defeat, they killed more then 90% of the people in Carthage and the other 10% were put into slavery.

  • That was smart. I did not know that though interesting. Thank you.

  • @JawiiJiwaa no they didnt,

they only took a part around the mediteranian, and it was by FAR not the greatest empire in the world

  • @JawiiJiwaa you actually believe that?

  • @elysium76 That is true.. The Islamic Empire will flourish among the world again just as it happend 1450 years go.. This will lead to a final war World War 3, I think.

Though we do not know when this will happen..

  • @JawiiJiwaa It was more like 1/3. The actual Arabic empire only took about a 1/3 of Asia. The Greatest Empires in the World were the English, Mongolian, and the Russian empire. The English and the Russian empire were so large that the sun never set on them.

  • @Soliloquy33 The mongolian Empire was huge but not as big as the islamic empire (khilafah) and the islamic empire has stretched 3/4 of Asia. While the russian empire was huge because of political defaults. The mongolian empire ended becuase of Genghis Khans Sons. They weren't very good leaders..

  • @knowledgepwns Sorry that's false. The Mongolian empire stretched from China through all of Asia, The middle east, and up to the former Poland Lithuanian common wealth. An Easy to read map is presented in the history of Empires vid here on Youtube. They had A basic form of Democracy, Free religion, and at least in the main empire no slaves. Also the Russian Empire Was just paranoid and easy Corruptible. Islamic empire Was N Africa, Arabian peninsula, Turkey, and east to India nothing more.

  • @JawiiJiwaa

They didn't didn't take over half the world, plus the majority of what they conquered was nothing but desert

  • Its called the middle ages.

Anti European propaganda calls it dark ages.

Its a myth that it was a dark time of superstition and ignorance.

In fact the middle ages were much more advanced times technologically and educationally, all that thanks to the Roman Catholic church which opened schools and modernized every aspect of society.

But is the US and empire? And is falling from power the same as collapsing and being overrun by barbarians.

  • @Limbach17 Technically, the US is a Republic with the territory of an empire. The Mainland 48 States are bigger than all of Europe put together.

  • @carthagertw yes but what does landmass mean?

mainland europe has far more inhabitants...

  • @Limbach17 No, it's not. Just because a country is big does not mean it is an empire. It's falling though, that's for sure.

  • Comment removed

  • Err the USA doesn't have an empire. They maybe considered a 'superpower' but it's not like they have an empire ...

  • should have used footage from barbarian invasion nevertheless CLASS.

  • Hey Guyz!

This isn't the real Romans, they didn't have cameras back then. This is obviously computer generated!

Their crazy if they think we would believe this is the real Romans, it's more of a hoax.

  • germany was one country that actually out smarted rome, even when rome was still a super power in that german forest when they slaughtered and entire legion of romes so rome could be beaten but tribes in battle, although arminus i think was his name was taught by rome as one of those agreed hostages .

  • What the fuck you talking about, Germandy was defeated by 200 roman soldiers man, lead into slavery outsmarted ha.

  • you don't know shit then even search up Arminius orThe Battle of Teutoburg Forest where rome was beaten easily and rome didn't conquer all of germany in fact they only took right up to the danube as it was a barrier even the rome didn't go over.

  • the romans where lead by publius varus into the forrest of germany, YES the 18, 19 and 20th legions where all killed there but only because varus was not a gerneral he was a politician with little military experience. germany never truly outsmarted rome, only outlasted

  • publius varus was also a general who trusted arminus and was tricked into the ambush by arminus who said there was a rebellion in a area near teutoburg forest when there wasnt one but instead was where the ambush was set

  • true. i still say germany never TRUELY outsmarted rome, the romans destroyed themselves by making themself week and the hun simply finished the job

  • i know i was just adding a little because i agree as it we have placed facts instead random stupid cmments like some people

  • ans they were betraye by a german who led them in to a thick part of the forest. in open ground they would not have a chance. this was not a battle it was an ambush

  • yes herman the german was a traitor to rome and led the romans into the ambush, he knew all their tactics and how they would react

  • Germany wasn't captured and "brought" to Roman judgement only because it was of no value to the Empire...Dacia(mostly modern Romania) was the Empire's last target because of it's gold and silver ores. The country was utterly crushed and it's population exterminated as one of the emperor's Troyan's doctors had written, the romans had left only 40 humans alive in that massacre...This is probably overrated, but nevertheless the culture was destroyed, among with the people and the country itself...

  • You mean Trajan?

  • Indeed.

  • why are people hating just the jews? alot of religion comes from the jews the christians faith came from the jews stop being haters, my family is origanlly jewish but it don't mean i believe in it, plus no religion is right its just what you belive in

  • i hate barbarians for destroying rome. i love everything about rome.

  • agree!!! it has the best history in the world! they created the western world from now! without them, we probably didnt even had a bath...

  • ROMA CITTA' ETERNA. SPQR

  • this video from rome total war ... the game . Nice Video

  • Rome died because julius caesar who started an time when one man was the power. the SPQR kept rome going for 500 years. But what really killed rome was emperor Nero after he want crazy after the great fire. he try'd to make a new rome so that art would be everywhere, but SPQR made Nero an enemie of rome. Then Constantin... Nice vid btw :)

  • huns defeated rome.

  • goths burnt rome (the city) because the romans wouls not give the little land that the goths wanted...

  • Rome was burned by many different "barbaric" groups. The Goths were just the ones who finally united the tribes, took over Germania, southern Gaul, and then pillaged and burned their way to Rome.

But yes, it was sparked by the cruelty the goths faced from the Romans.

  • nope

  • actually, they didnt, they destroyed much, but finaly couldnt finish them off
