  • Helped alot! I've just started a 2 year electrical tafe course and its good to know I have your videos to watch!

  • MY TEaCHER ALWAYS DRAW SELENOID USING A COIL SYMBOL!! I THOUGHT ITS ONLY COIL WITHOUT METAl!!

  • i am trying to make a switch for my old computer fan just for an experiment :D

  • thanks, helped me for my test tmr!

  • thanks loads

  • nice

  • The beginning is good but the last part about circuit breaker is very confusing...

  • thx bro i get it now

  • circuit breaker?

  • tat sounds more like a relay than a solenoid.

  • Very nice video! It was very helpful!

  • how can I use a solenoid to activate a HHO generator since the direct current coming out from the battery is too much upon that generator?

  • Thank you very very much.

  • If I got it, u0 is the magnetic permitivity of void, if you insert a ferromagnetic material such as iron, you would change that constant and rise it of some order of magnitude. Ferromagnets might be seen as "magnetic field amplifiers".

  • thanks a lot

  • very nice explanation. Is the field strength B=u0NIr, where u0 is permitivity constant? And what's the deal with inserting an iron bar into the wire?
