  • JESUS that's ugly!

  • LoL. If you buy a 1974 Daihatsu max 360cc like mine, you get expansion chamber exhaust stock! Strokers! Yours sounds crisp as, man. Awesome. If you actually want to make it quieter, you can insert the end tube further into the wide portion of the chamber, without modifying the back cone and tuned length.

  • Nice looking car. Until recently, I didn't know that Suzuki made cars that far back.

  • It needs mufflers with baffle, it would be a great increase in sound/performance as it would gain more back-pressure. It would loose the loudish kind of noise and give it a deeper roar :)

  • are you in nz? those look like nz rego stickers

  • beautiful n rare... fuck the r1engine..

  • HOLY SHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

when you got to the expansion chambers my jaw dropped. i want one of these SOOO bad. 2-stroke for life!

  • If only it went aswell as it looked/sounded. Hah

  • Put an R1 engine in it.

    You know you want to.

  • Secret plans for my other one.... hah

  • @evildrome

na, it has to be 2 stroke.

  • @tpvalley kawasaki triple 750 engine in this car would be awesome

  • @hyperpunjabi

ha, maybe, but considering u could get the mpg down to about 4mpg it may guzzle a tad!

  • @tpvalley about 18 mpg is what the bike gets but this heavyier so your probbly right just keep the original engine prolly gets 25-40 mpg with mods like better air filter (K&N) expansion chambers and if possible direct injection

  • @evildrome

Screw that, jam an RG500 motor in it.

  • We get c.900cc engines in the UK. Are these really 'special' cars to drive (as in light and nimble)?

  • They do handle pretty good. Downhills are fun. Uphills however, 37hp doesnt really do much. hah

  • I think they're about 50bhp over here, which isn't really an improvement. Hadn't thought about uphill, must be horrendous.

  • The 4 stroke ones are about 150-200kgs heavier. Also about 20cm wider. Ive driven both, and i must say, the 2 stroke is alot more fun despite being slower. Have to work the gears alot to keep it in power. hah. Its all about conservation of momentum!! haha :P

  • 2 stroke cars are cool !There was that Saab i always fancied ! The Trabant also ! Bubble cars of course ! Any others you can think of ! " strokes might be making a comeback by the way as there are a lot of people working on emission friendly injection systems and also an ingenius pivotal two stroke ! Th efuture looks good for us "Stinkwheel" fans ! Peace ye`all !!

  • There is something special about having your clothes constantly smelling of 2stroke. And stinging eyes at traffic lights. The smell is the best part though. hah Keen for a Saab sonnet 2 stroke. A shame only a few hundred were made!

  • mind blowing.......

  • This is awesome sauce... What program did you use to design the pipes? I'd like to make some custom pipes for a couple things I'm working on. Those things look and sound awesome, I'd love to hear it driving.

  • Water Buffalo powered ???

  • that's awesome!~

  • were could i get a car like this? i want one so bad it kicks ass!!!!

  • Hey man. As far as i'm aware. Japan and New Zealand were the only countries to get these bad boys. I could be wrong though. But finding one in japan is a pretty rare occurance. And they are very rare in New Zealand too.

  • We had them in Ireland and in the UK too. In fact I am trying to source one at the moment. Only 400 left on the roads in the UK and Ireland

  • I think you guys only had the 1000cc 4 stroke versions known as SC100, CX-G, or the Whizz- kids. Look the same but are slightly bigger. And not 2-Stroke :(

  • Sorry my bad your right all our SC`s were of the 4 stroke variety. I wasnt aware they came in 2 stroke variants. Cracking little cars though hence why I am trying to find one!

  • LOL COOL

  • Holy snap, that's incredible! Amazing work with the pipes aswell!

  • Cheers, they didn't work anywhere near as well as i had hoped though. I think the 22m Mikunis are strangling it at the top end. haha

  • Did you mmake this chamber?

    Nice sound!

  • Yes. I measured the size and open time of the exhaust ports. Punched the numbers into a expansion chamber design program, and got all the dimensions for the pipes. Was quite fun making them!

  • What calculating programm did you use?

I'am busy calculating expansion exhaust for some old bikes for some months right now and really like to see the differences between the exhausts i calculated and what a programm can give me.

  • Hey man, your car sounds bad ass! I have an SC100 but that thing sounds like it would eat it for brekkie! got any vids of race day? cheers ears
