  • That pretty cool, you should make one with two drive axles in the rear like a gator almost and then you would have room for a toolbox or dump bed or whatever, if you search mini dump truck on here someone made one only with a really complicated drive system but it looks neat.

  • the hammer an hatcet thing is dumb

  • what were the outher vids you said you watched of peoples tow tractors

  • @simpsonlandscaping Actually, I never saw another video of a tow tractor, but I have seen a few images on google of towing lawn tractors.

  • so shes gonna be a mudder or just a yard toy? what other acc u puttin on it? tires? maybe a make shift 3 point hitch for your rear end?

  • @Lowrida3369 Kinda just a yard toy, for moving around other lawn tractors, but I may play in the mud with it some and use it as a recovery tractor for other tractors that might get stuck. Once I am done with it, I hope to have a small air compressor, winch, sirens, and lights. Tires will be standard tractor tires, until I find me some hubs, rims, and small truck tires to mount on the back. It will have some kind of tow boom on the back.

  • apply heat!!

  • @troll22001 I don't have a torch, and they cost too much. I'm not worried about it, I got a 18hp twin thats going in it, watch the newer videos on it and get updated, alot has changed since this video.

  • Man, that tractor kicks major ass! I have a 1986 or so LTV-10 and I wish I had a 1981 because I have a plastic hood and fenders. Yours kicks ass because you can weld on it. I love that axe you made and the handle for it. Same with the hammer. I guess with mine I will have to drill holes and make bolted on mountings for an axe or something. Hope you dont mind me using your idea lol. I have a 10hp briggs on mine. Pos wont start. It needs a tuneup.... Good video man

  • Thanks for the comment and interest in my tow tractor. It actually has a fibreglass hood, the rest is metal, your ltv-10 should also have a fibreglass hood as well. Anyway, glad you like it, I will begin working on it again in a few weeks, I'm dropping in an 18hp briggs twin and a 5 speed tranny. By all means, use any idea you want off it, I personally love the Axe I made for it, its really sharp btw. Have you subbed me yet?

  • @76hotrodF250 nice i love the sound of those 18hp engines. why a 5speed? My ltv is kinda cool it has a 2 speed with vari drive. Yea i need a axe like that so i can drive around cutting fallen trees(i get alot of them). I subbed a long time ago

  • Yeah the 18hp twins sounds badass for sure. I don't like the 2 speed trans at all, iys too slow for my liking, I am going to keep the varidrive hooked up, so in a way I will have a 10 speed tractor kinda.

  • looks good

  • use that 18 hp engine u got

  • hey

im building a tractor like you are but im using an electric winch and im just going to have a pully on the arm at the top and lift the front of the tractor...or my shitty four wheeler when it dies lol... off the ground

  • Fuck yeah, right on for you man! You got the mind of a tractorman! I love it, its a cool idea doin all those mods. Might just steel ur ideas to help on my acreage! awesome man

  • Yeah this one is cool!! Oh, its not getting painted so dont worry, I like it rusted.

Well, the thing is I dont have another replacement pulley, and there hard to find around here, its a crappy 10hp..no loss to me, besides...I am putting a 12hp on it!!

  • That's cool. I really like that rusted looks, almost a shame to paint it. I was gonna do this to one of mine, with spade mounts and stuff for when I go off roading and stuff.

And don't get me started on rusted pulleys :| That 10 horse should be fixable. Grind that shaft right down until the rest the the pulley falls off. Then you're good to go. scrap the points and just put electronic ignition. Shame to smash it to bits.

  • Yeah, I am still working out all the plans for it, it is still sitting with no motor, I haven't had time to fool with it. They make little 12 volt air compressors for about 4o bucks, I am going to get one of those and mount it to the fender and run it off the battery. I know what you mean about dragging extensoins cords and turning on the big air compressor just to air up a mower or bike tire!! You should make something like this tractor!!!

  • Looks sweet. Now slap a bendix air pump of a chevy c30 and you got compressed air!

  • Hmm, thats a good idea!! Moblie compressed air without having to buy a lousy air compressor or hand pump! I could run it off the mower deck drive pulley from the engine and have the air pump mounted underneath, and pipe it to an air tank.

  • I plan to do that on the Montgomery wards puller i am bulding.
