  • jestem tex richman i kasiory mam wienciej niż biber

  • I still can't believe that Chris Cooper did this. I would never expect him to rap, expecially in a Muppet movie

  • unfortunatly, this song is awesome.

  • I can't stop listening to this, LOL <3

  • MANIACAL LAUGH!!!!!! This was Awesome!!!

  • p.s. Shoulda guessed Bret McKenzie with the way Tex sings "monaaaaaaaay".

  • 10 people don't have empathy and can't see what it's like being Tex Richman!

  • Flight of the Conchords brought me here

  • *clicks dislike* Maniacal Laugh. Maniacal laugh. Maniacal laugh.

  • ooh bret mcKenzie from "flight of the conchords" wrote the song with Ali dee Theodore..

  • Muppets are a waste of time oh cantcha seee~!

  • aw i love it my sons named after this but dont tell cause its not set in stone ask the muppets

  • I got serious Hipopotomous vibes from this

  • I'm totally not singing along to this while I'm supposed to be sleeping...

  • i saw this bit of the film i was thinking

    what.

    the.

    FUCK!

    then started singing along!

  • all the twinkies in the cinema were not laughing and theres me and my boyf wetting ourself at the subtitled random rap!

  • @veryvickers Here here! Me and my pals were exactly the same, I can't believe no one else in the cinema was laughing at this, we were absolutely cracking up at this! Nice to know I'm not the only one and there'll still awesome people out there XD

  • oh man, I love this song.. XD I'm thinking of putting it on my ipod.. but its from the bad guy.. O.O

    Maniacal laugh! Maniacal laugh! XD

  • What is gold-plating?

  • What is gold-plating?

  • When this rap came on in the cinema i was like Hell Yeah, Baby!

  • Forget Man or Muppet; THIS is Oscar worthy!

  • I love the fact Chris Cooper, a brilliant serious actor agreed to do this film. Shows he has a fun side where he can have a laugh

  • Manical laugh! Manical laugh! Manical laugh!

  • Manical laugh! Manical laugh! Manical laugh!

  • The answer is no..

    You could've just said that.

  • Me: All villains get the best songs.

    Friend: Untrue.

    (Shows friend song)

    Me: See?

  • @Kaagh178 Couldn't agree more!:D

  • meniacal laugh!!!!!!!!!

  • really sad but i love this song!

  • Best moment of the film.

  • When I am an evil oil baron I want a cupboard full of scantily clad singers ready to sing my praises.

  • Must say this was the only bit I cringed in the film...it neither made me hate nor feel against the atagonist I just wished he'd shut up. Otherwise every other moment in the film was golden, but this just made me cringe...

  • @Mad1Cow How can you cringe. He pulls dancing girls out of his cupboard, and he GOLD PLATES HIS GOLD.

  • Saw this film and yday my girlfriend rolls over to me in bed and really loudly shouts MANIACAL LAUGH!

  • I'd never thought I would see Chris Cooper rapping, especially in a Muppet movie. But he did a good job. I liked it.

  • When he started rapping during the movie, I was like "What the fuck?!" but I ended up really liking the song -3

  • "I GOT MO' MONAYYYY"

    *dies*

  • @TheWeasleySweater Lol. Tyler. Your a weirdo.

  • @TextingMuggle Yes I am and am not ashamed to admit it.

  • "I got so much gold I GOLDPLATE MY GOLD"

  • @ryanfoley123 Yo dawg, I heard you like gold.

  • HAHAHAHA random opera in the middle of a rap!!

  • You could of just said that....

  • Tex sounded like Rupert Everett!

  • When the song came up in the movie, I was utterly shocked and said "What?!" Best song in the movie!!

  • And there I sat in the theatre thinking: "Well, wouldn't it make a great contrast if the the villain rapped instead of singing a song like the muppets?" and then this came out of freaking nowhere.

  • It's easy having this much green vs Isn't easy being green

  • @Kelcyus Holy crap, is that a reference? if so I didn't notice it.

  • I totally did not expect this rap when I watched this movie XD

  • What part did Nathan Pacheco do here?

  • Oh, he did the bridge part. I take it Chris Cooper did only the rapping part.

  • I can imagine the Cinema Snob singing this.

  • @hotshotisnumber1

Sadly, he says that even though he recognized the humor of this song, he prayed for it to stop. Brad just hates rap that much...

  • Chris Cooper should play Vince McMahon.

  • LOL Bret McKenzie wrote the music. love it

  • Clearly the funniest part was when the showgirls went back to the closet and just started chilling. Clearly!

  • Best family friendly rap since "The Garfield Rap"

  • i wanted to sing this, but the screen was too far down, and the subs were blurred :(

  • but kinda slow

  • i saw this today i said he shouldent rap

  • The 8 people who disliked this were probably Kermit,Miss Piggy,Fozzie,Gonzo,Scooter,Janice,Rowlf, and Animal

  • @fart1ize And me... The movie is amazing and great but this is really phoned in :P

  • I saw this at the theatre yesterday. When this happened I literally yelled "WHAT?"

It made the movie at least twice as awesome as it already was.

  • in the movie the girls are in his closet

  • I wonder why they left that part out in theaters where he explained why he dislikes the muppets so muxh

  • @Seargent363 Perhaps they decided it made the villain too sympathetic. So they kept him as a crazed oil tycoon instead.

  • @Seargent363 Perhaps it was because Chris Cooper didn't do that part. I'm not sure he's good at opera singing, and that part was operatic. That's why Nathan Pachecho is listed in the description.

  • Villain songs in musicals ≠ Big Lipped Alligator Moment

Goddammit, I wish people would stop using that phrase...

  • @TasselledWobbegong People are just saying that because it kinda comes out of nowhere (which is why it's funny). And since they cut out the backstory part, it becomes a fun but pointless number.

  • "You could have just said that..."

  • i love this movie this was one of my favroite parts i want this movie on dvd so bad enyone know when its coming out

  • @toadman2723 March 20th

  • This song seemed shorter in the movie.

  • @MrAndrewsaccount92 They cut out some parts of it from the movie, like the opera solo in the middle of the song

  • I really hope they have it on the DVD

  • i love the robert di nero line

  • Why didn't the full verison end up in the movie? It's awesome!

  • i make the baker bake my bread out of dough

no no dont eat it though it'll make you ill

there aint no flour in a hundred dollar bill

    HILARIOUS

  • This villain song is so weird and yet so AWESOME!

  • 1:25 sounds reasonable.

  • Why does the bear always work for the villain??

  • I was so excited that Bret McKenzie wrote this song. Absolutely Flight of the Conchords in style.

  • @lavfisch

I KNOW right, being a big fan of FOTC I was in shock when I heard these songs. So their style

  • Forget lol! Maniacal laugh. Maniacal laugh. Maniacal laugh.

  • I can't decide what my favorite song from the movie is; this, Life's a Happy Song, or Man or Muppet. Probably this...

  • I'm glad this version has the cut verse. OwO

  • "My answer is no"

    "...ok...You could've just said that"

  • HAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!! Why was this song so funny? Because Chris Cooper, who doesn't even laugh right (Manaical laugh) Just randomely jumped up and started rapping then pulled show girls out of a storage closet! So yeah that's why. Remember he could have just said no

  • As soon as Chris Cooper started rapping, I nearly fell out of my seat and pissed myself from laughing so hard.

The Vegas showgirls in the closet were just the icing on the cake.

  • he looks like he want to dance every were but not on me i will kick his but

  • umm this is OKWARD!!!!! but its ok because i sang along to it :/

  • This is random

  • Statler: The song is called Let`s Talk About Me.

Waldorf: I say we talk about leaving!

    DOHOHOHOHOHOHOHO!

  • "People call me rich, 'cause I got MO' MON-AY!"

The utter cheesiness of an evil, white business man belting out this line is what got me the most. I laughed for like five minutes because of that. Oh my God.

  • Nathan Pacheco♥

  • OMG!!! THIS IS AWESOME!!!! I say this is one of the best villan songs i have ever heard, and definitely the best rap song. And btw, zlogo2017, you are a moron.

  • i thought that the tragedy happened to tex???

  • I don't remember the opera part in the movie...

  • @snazzyandspiffy it's extended.

  • @3min46sec ohhhhhh

  • I sang along in the theater.

  • Maniacal laugh. Maniacal laugh. Maniacal laugh.

  • You muppets are dead, i've just come to bury you...best villian line in a kids movie ever..wait, did i say kids movie? slap myself.

  • @MrTWISTEDHUMORable aw can i slap u? i'm a kid, but my mom liked it more then my 13th brother xD

  • @TheMeowninja lol

  • LOL

  • He gold-plated his cat :D.

  • These kind of jokes usually fall flat because the person who you don't expect to be rapping, usually sucks at rapping. This was awesome though. Chris Cooper did a good job. I was laughing.

  • Big Lipped Alligator Moment!

  • @jellywillreturn I was thinking that so hard. XD

I was also thinking the Gary/Mary love thing would be one until they mentioned it again almost at the end of the movie.

  • @jellywillreturn The best part is how the movie recognizes it as a Big Lipped Alligator Moment. The entire cast just kind of stands there frozen in pure "what the fuck?", and you can tell that everything that just happened is just as surreal and uncomfortable for them as it is for the audience.

  • @jellywillreturn

    That we All LOVED :-D

  • Personally, i didn't like this song. rather silly.

  • @ryanadamsfan1 that was the point and the entire movie was silly, but that is the muppets.

  • @Seargent363 Yeah, this whole song was a parody, in two ways:

    1. A parody of villain songs in musicals.

    2. A parody of songs in musicals that just randomly come out of the blue.

  • i don't why but i imagine lex luthor singing this XD

  • Best. Villain. Song. Ever. XD

  • No no , dont eat it doe . It'll make you ill . Cause there aint no flour in a 100 dollar bill . ( :

  • I to gold plate my gold - Bill Gates

  • I wish I didn't go put more white cheddar popcorn during this song x_x

  • one word:jerk

  • He said he Gold-plates his Gold. LMAO.

this song came out of nowhere, and had me dying laughing when I saw it.

  • I hope that the operatic part (along with other deleted scenes) will be re-inserted into the film when it comes out on DVD/Blu-Ray in March, thus making it an extended edition.

It would be nice. It would fill in some leftover plotholes, such as Tex Richman revealing his sad back-story and why he developed his personal grudge against the Muppets, as heard here.

  • @disneyphilip

Actually, the opera bit *was* found in the film. But it wasn't sung by Tex, rather it was Uncle Deadly (a.k.a. The Phantom of The Muppet Show), one of Tex's accomplices and a long time villain-ish figure in the Muppets Show. In actuality, it provides some surprising insight into Deadly's bizarre background. For any who remember the show. XD

  • @UnsweetenedPineapple I know who Uncle Deadly is, I just don't remember him singing that bit.

  • @ChrisC11291980

Bravo! It's delightful to have someone else who remembers him from the show. :> At first I didn't recognize him, shamefully.

We'll both be highly anticipating when the movie comes on DVD then.

  • @UnsweetenedPineapple Uncle Deadly Pwns!

  • ...well, that explains a lot, why you hate the Muppets so much

  • 6 People from 20th Century Fox disliked this!

  • why is the opera bit not in the movie?

  • @millerhxc This is the full version. The movie version had to cut it out for time.

  • I'm Tex Richman. Just look at all the green on the right.

  • We of texas will deal with this stereotype accordingly

  • Give this man another Academy Award now!

  • Only hundred dollar bills? Someone get this Hobo out of my office!

  • I almost started respecting Tex Richman after this song.

  • aww i wish i saw that part when he was singing oprah haha

  • this is the song that scarred me

  • This song was the biggest, best surprise song in the movie. I couldn't even hear the words over how much I was laughing at the shock of Chris Cooper singing a hip-hop song with Vegas show girls.

It made the movie for me. Haha

  • @UnsweetenedPineapple He's actually pretty good at hip-hop. And I hope that opera section is on the deleted scenes because it clears up why he hates the Muppets.

  • @ChrisC11291980

Oh, it's definitely in the movie. But it was actually a solo from one of his sidekicks. The one with all the whiskers. Uncle Deadly.

  • Amazing movie.

  • This is AMAZING!!!

  • Wasn't this the tune to something from Sesame Street?

  • I had no Idea that Chris Cooper could rap!

  • i know bret wrote this, but it sounds so much like flight of the choncords.

  • If the Muppets were performing at Richman's tenth birthday party, how old is Richman supposed to be?

  • I fell out of my chair laughing in the theater. OMG it was sooo funny. =)

  • this dude is badder than rick ross

  • LOL, i love how this song came out of nowhere during in the movie, i couldn't stop laughing

  • @cellopypo And that song is what defines a Big-Lipped Alligator Moment. In fact, afterwards, they never mention the song again. When that song came out of nowhere, I was thinking, "What the hell?"

  • @spiritgirl41192 Nostalgia Critic points up "BIG LIPPED ALLIGATOR MOMENT!"

  • @cellopypo The Muppets Movie is a BIG LIPPED ALLIGATOR MOVIE!!

  • @spiritgirl41192 Nostalgia Critic fan? You should check out the Angry Video Game Nerd!

  • ha ha ha

  • This is my life!!!! ahhhhhhhhhhhhh this just made my year. hells yeah!!!! :D

  • I wonder if this is what business men sing when nobody's around? XP

  • This is so damn cheesy, that it's awesome. :)

  • Man, you can almost HEAR Bret composing this song! Thank you to Bret McKenzie and Jason Segel for this amazing movie.

  • I thought he told Bobo & Deadly no singing was allowed in his office.

  • I saw this movie high... and let me tell you, this scene left me speechless and wondering if it even happened.

  • No the opera part was not in the movie I wish it had been.

  • "I'm Tex Richman, Mr. Texas Tea, people call me Rich cuz I got MO' MONAY!!!" xD <3

  • I'm the mother flippin' rhymenocerous.... I love Bret McKenzie!! my favorite songs from the movie are Bret's.

  • Was the oprea part in the movie? I don't recall it

  • Wait? There's no flour in a hundred dollar bill? YOU CAN JUST BUY SOME AT THE SUPERMARKET! Man, I spent so much money on cakes then.

  • and that's why, it's great to be m-*SHOT*
