  • My son took apart his C655D-S5200 in order to replace the screen. He removed the screen brackets from the lid, then removed the cracked screen. Both brackets seem to be "frozen" at 90 degrees to the laptop's base or keyboard. Do you know what could cause this?

  • great video, it really helped. Can you replace a Toshiba LCD screen that has builted in web cam with a Dell LCD screen that doesnt have a web cam. I dont think it matters about the cam but just wondered if I could use the Dell for parts in the Toshiba.... I am guessing no but thought I would check before buying a new screen

  • I have the same laptop and it's screen has spiderweb cracks. Where did you get you're screen from ? I would rather spend little money on a screen than a boat load on a new laptop.

  • @amyappleg Most likely the process of replacing the screen would be very similar between models.
