Yes i agree a very underated album, Never Let Me Down was a record you could play end to end and over and over still sounds fresh, lots of great tracks Glass Spider & 87 and cry included!
Haven't seen this video for years! A bit dated but the song is still absolutely TOP. One of those songs that somehow I've never forgotten any of the words to.
I know it's fashionable to hate this album (and with good reason), but I always thought this song stood out, and he looks FANTASTIC in this video. I spent my high school years trying my hardest to emulate his coif, and I think my hair has frozen in that shape ever since, ha.
Never Let Me Down. Came out in 1987. Listened to it all summer and caught the Glass Spider tour stop in Vancouver, B.C. Peter Frampton was on the guitar. Good show.
I think anyone who's been making records for as long as Bowie has will have something for just about everyone, if they bothered to listen. There are so many styles, so many songs, sounds ... he's changed with the changes and survived a lot of years in the limelight. I doubt many people could say they loved it all, but not many to say they loved none of it.
And so what? Everybody can have changes, can feel frustrated...
I think you'd better shut up because you are no mr. perfect, and I am sure you wouldn't even be able to achieve 1% from what he has achieved over all these years...
whow wdf is your problem?? Bowie himself said that he was fucked up, he was addicted to cocaine and heroin and he was depressed. I dont judge him you fucking idiot
its called art , it what keeps him going through his career. so people wouldnt get tired of watching or listening to him. ever heard how many bands salute him for his eccentricity? how he developed genres after genres of music?
This was a fave DB song, but I am not sure that the album is underrated. Saw him on the Glass Spider tour in my youth...
The hair is very 80s it has to be said.
Yes a bit of manhandling works for me! (Sorry that probably came out wrong!)

One of the dancers, in this video, is VICTOR MANOEL - Spelled that way - Does anyone know where he is?
He danced with Grace Jones, as well, among others and I have lost track of him! Need to find him - Thanks!
