George S is a great host. He asked questions that were interesting and it seemed that Mr. Rickman was at ease and answered earnestly. A Canadian show with an easy going yet intelligent interviewer.

It is very gratifying to know that Alan is a real person with his feet on the ground and doesn't let fame make him into a narcissistic, self absorbed actor. He cares about real people and their issues.

Alan Rickman plays many types of roles (illustrated by the interviewer's list of movies) and he says he does that intentionally. Then he says that he does that so he can get work easier (typecast actors have a hard time finding new roles).

George always is. Its one of the reasons I like him. He started as a Much Music VJ and just progressed into his own thing, but he always keeps it very 'him', which I find refreshing. His interviews always have their own unique vibe that feels more like him just asking what he wants and saying what he wants than your normal scripted layout. It catches a side of the interviewees you don't normally get to see, which rocks.
