@Protomario Hey man i just bought one of these yesterday at gamestop. I did not come with a disc. I downloaded the thing off codejunkies for the dsi action replay. I do not know where to go from here man, I don't know how to "extract a file." I chose all three of the "extract" choices and i still cannot get my ar to play. Some help would be much appreciated.

when i extract the firmware it doesnt come up the same as yours.. But now when i start up my action replay after that it wont boot up all the way.. Prior to doing this to the AR it worked.. When it starts up it does everything, but when it loads it just has a black screen

I have downloaded the v1.71 firmware update for the Action Replay DS (not DSi), and I have installed the Action Replay Code Manager via the link provided. When I access the Action Replay Code Manager program, everything works fine. However, when I attach my USB cable to my Action Replay DS, it says that I have to install it to my computer. I click on "Next", and I go through the Wizard, but at the end it says that

I see these great videos a lot like this that are very imformative but always leave out one little delail. When you update it, all the codes delete, then come back with some extras. If you have entered your own codes off the internet (like Pokemon Modifier, event pokemon, etc.) that were not there when you first updated/percased the Action Replay, those codes are deleted. If you have never manually enterd codes like this though, then don't worry when the screne says: "Deleting all codes". lol :)

This seems to occur on the DS one and its an easy fix. Simply uninstall the DS action replay and ensure you get all traces like the USBIO and then uninstall the NDS Link. Then Simply reinstall.
