A huge favorite-very inspiring. Especially lines like - "Is that a man?" "You're damn right it is!" & the last line-"...the best pilot anyone had ever seen." What I love most is something not mentioned often. It's almost a comedy-a lot of dry humor. Like Gus (real name Ivan - OK you can be Gus) & We are the monkey & the whole testing sequence with the enemas & Jose Jimenez & the peeing in the suit"you're a wetback now"-I could go on and on. After several viewings you start to see LOTS of comedy.

One of my all time favorite films. I can still remember my father bringing this film home and the four of us sat in the dark in the basement and were just mesmerized by it.
