  • Cable is a cross between Mr Bean and ConVince Cable

  • You gotta love Cable

  • And isn't Vince just a close to Stalin?

  • See what has happened to our Great Country watch THE PARTY OF SLEAZE by TOKYO ROSE

  • Vince Cable is obviously a freemason using the quote, order out of chaos! Besides this, he's sold out just like Nick Clegg did and is allowing the Conservatives to ruin the country. Between them they've killed off the Liberal party which will never again be trusted by the British people.

  • @mintwithahole Well, thats bollocks..."Order out of chaos" is a quote which, while not in fully common use, is still a valid idiom. I believe it also ties in with some scientific theories.

  • @mintwithahole I think Mr brown had already ruined the country

  • Vince Cable has some front, he has sold out his parties beliefs lied through his teeth to the electorate and so never mind Stalin to Mr Bean, he has gone from A jelly fish with no spine to a Snake in the Grass....A fraud and a disgrace.

  • Vince Cable, a cross between Stalin and Mr Hitler

  • I miss this Vince Cable. :(

  • and we have noticed his transformation from national treasure to treasury poodle

  • Cable has undergone a transformation himself. He's gone from Mother Teresa to Satan

  • @UKRThracian I used to think the libs may have been a viable alternative to labour, especially under Charles Kennedy. After them getting into bed with the tories though, they've gone down a mile or 2 in my estimation.

  • Oh, Vinnie.

  • @hearts76100 'Your a typical sad geordie who thinks the world owes you a living.' Sorry, but are you implying that most Geordies live off benefits and don't do any hard work? I assure you it's quite the opposite. Sure, there is the odd case like that, but no more than anywhere else in the country.

  • hearts76100 'Your a typical sad geordie who thinks the world owes you a living.'

Sorry, but are you implying that most Geordies live off benefits and don't do any hard work? I assure you it's quite the opposite. Sure, there is the odd case like that, but no more than anywhere else in the country.

  • Wow! The man with the ‘nuclear button’ ‘Mr Button’

  • @GAZBEROTTEN

I would know more about a bad day than you ever will fuckface!!!

Oh, i have no reason to apologise to someone like you!!!

DO YOU WORK OR HAVE A JOB???

DO YOU ADD ANYTHING TO THE BRITISH ECONOMY???

DO YOU HAVE A FUCKING LIFE......oops, i know you dont!!!

What is the point in you even being alive???

Your a typical sad geordie that thinks the world owes you a living!!!

Maggie Thatcher was right.......NO NO NO!!!

She had vision, you have benefit tunnel vision!!! WANKER + GYPO

  • Why does this man not fuck off and eat werthers originals and play with his tory bum-engineers!!!

OR PLAY WITH HIS TRAIN SET!!!

    Fib Dem lying bastard.....

    VOTE UKIP

  • The lib/lab/con are lot the same! sod the lot!

  • Who is Mr Bean now, Vince ??

    Cunt

  • Thankfully Vince Cable is against bringing immigration down to just one hundred thousand new immigrants ever year.

we need them to do all the new jobs innit.

  • What a liar Vince Cable is.

Creating lies out of hypocrisy, creating theft out of dishonesty.

    Well done Vince.

    ConVince

  • Vince Cable talks about Brown's transformation from Stalin to Mr Bean.

What about Cable's recent transformation from Mother Theresa to Satan.

  • Cheeky cunt!!!

    Amazing transformation???

pot calling the kettle black me thinks!

Fuck off old man and go bowling with all the other pensioners!

Or even better...throw yourself off a high cliff

  • @hearts76100 funny how fickle, ignorant folk like yourself like them when they don't hold any positions of power.

  • @MrRascasseman

Listen, ive never fucking liked the FIB DEMS!!!

VINCE CABLE IS DOING THIS ALL FOR PERSONAL GAIN!!!

You called me fickle and ignorant??? YOUR STUPID AND NAIVE MY FRIEND!!!

And i use the word " FRIEND ", very loosely!!!

  • I think the LibDems are defending the most important part for them, they are loosing a lot, but just wait, they have a plan...

  • give the money back that you took from a convicted thief. until then shut up you bent twat

  • can someone explain this joke to me

  • Old Vince an Old TORY NOT TO BE TRUSTED,stabbed the best LibDem leader Charles Kenndy in the back because he was too progressive.Even drunk Kenndy would wipe the floor with these CONlibdems in the most corrupt Government in my lifetime.

  • they are all fuckin idiots

  • Nice grammar.

  • @3101jimbo no Vince cable and Gordon brown are very smart, highly educated men, gordon brown just didn't have the knack for running the country

  • If he was leader of the Lib Dems I'd probably of voted for them. Clegg is worthless imo

  • wait. we pay fat old guys (and young toffs) £100,000pa to sit in that shit-hole and level personal attacks at each other. No wonder Murdoch finds it so easy to completely control the country

  • @DaleisTankRid Murdoch is a vested interest and wields too much power the editors should have full control and the press should be politically netural this should be enshrined in a Constitution for the 21st century.

  • vince cable rocks.

  • you legend, vince!

  • Well now his party leader teamed up as a ouble act to be Prime Minister and that reminds me of a another set of comedians, Laurel and Hardy

  • How the hell is he not Chancellor instead of that idiot Osborne?

  • @mattttttt100 I am Tory through and through but would of loved to see cable as chancellor. I somewhat think that they will be working close together though!

  • @whosyuredaddy beats me why they passed over an economic Einstein like Cable for Gideon "shit for brains" osbourne who has no idea of how to run an economy!!

  • @Cena60793 Well because the Lib Dems and now the Tories lap dogs

  • absolutely priceless!! and that he is

  • even pensioners are bashing brown now lol!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Lib Dems rocks! Vince Cable is the man I was to see as Chancellor. I'd rather him behind the wheel of the economy than either of those other two clowns - Osborne and Darling. Cable predicted the recession, and he has a Ph.D in economics! Surely it's a heavyweight like Cable that the UK needs right now.

  • Is this what Nick clegg means by the old politics? Not very constructive. It seems that the 100plus year old Lib party is just as bad as the others.

  • New Labours 'achievements'

    * An illegal war in Iraq + a 9 year war in Afghanistan.

    * Tuition fees which locked the poor out of university.

    * A record divide between the rich & poor.

    * 2.5 million unemployed.

    * Less renewable, home produced energy than nearly every other developed nation.

    * Record patchwork privatisation in the NHS.

    * Proposals for spending tens of billions on Trident, ID cards & more war.

If every Labour voter voted Lib Dem, Clegg would have a massive majority.

    LIB DEM 2010

  • @janebusby The LIB DEMS being Labour to the power of ten! God help us all if those swivel eyed hair shirted crackpots get anywhere near power. They are well known for dirty tricks campaigns in elections, & saying anything you want to hear to gain office. Unprincipled charlatans.

  • @janebusby Tuition fees which locked the poor out of university...The irony!!!

  • @janebusby Well, thank god they didn't.

  • @janebusby I do not agree with the Iraq war, so yes, I agree with you on that one. However:

    - Tuition fees up to a max. £9,000

    - Rich & poor; pfft, we have the Tories in for goodness sake (more care to the rich, as always)

    - Read above. Tories = less working people

    - And?

    - Oh the irony.. Labour did that for more nurses, doctors, etc. The Tories are trying to full-out privatise the NHS right now

    - ID cards would not have been a waste of money.

    Nick Clegg is an idiot.

  • @janebusby *Also the introduction of the minimum wage *Ban on Cluster Bombs *Cut in Crime by 40% *more students than ever before *Tax credits introduced *GCHQ ban lifted *New schools *New Hospitals *more doctors and nurses than ever before *NHS funding at its highest rate ever *shortest waiting times in history *GDP up by 33% since 1997 *introduction in EMA *increase in sciencefunding *didn't join the euro *saved the UK economy from going into depression * Kosovo and i can go on
  • @janebusby WELL THAT FUCKING WORKED LOL.

  • @janebusby Bet you regret making that comment now...

  • Actually being compared to Mr. Bean is a compliment because he's funny, sweet, adorably clumsy, and a lovable British character whereas Stalin was an evil mad dictator, disgusting murderer, and a controversial Soviet icon. Brown should thank the Lib Dems.

  • @Pepper6464 funny, sweet, adorably clumsy, and lovable are not words you ought to want to be able to use to describe your prime minister.

  • @thesurgeon

I don't think Brown is any of these characteristics but the Lib Dems sure think so. Brown should be glad he's compared to Mr. Bean.

  • you havve to laugh

  • love it, anything to make gordon look like a tit

  • I love Vince!

  • Yayyy I love Vince.

  • @zzzoe11

    still love Vince?

  • The only reason I would vote Lib Dem

  • Does nobody else see through Vince Cable?? He is just 'more of the same' (or should I say 'less of the same'?). The 'most trusted politician in Britain' (whatever that place is now). Watch ANY Ron Paul clip to see what honesty, Integrity and Common Workable Practical Knowledgeable Sense really is NOT this lot of self serving front men for Global Enslavement with one World Govt, One Bank, One Currency and One Human Right - theirs! Remember;- If there is Dissent, be in control of the Dissent...

  • LOL. I love the way pompous, self righteous, left wing ideologues such as yourself so exquisitely fail to understand why Cable is so popular.

That nither rampant free markets nor controlled economies serve the mass population well has dawned on the public. Regulated capitalism is the best it gets, as proved by the Scandinavian countries, and Cable embodies that ethos.

The man is successful, open minded, and decent. And actually quite interesting. I'd have him as PM any day.

  • Was that a joke?

You didnt read the text I posted. I think Ron paul is spot on. He is Right Wing so how you label me 'Pompous, Left Wing'? We are all Self Righteous.

We NEVER had a free market which I support. Free Trade was quickly used for Political effect and Individuals Wages and Labour taxed to the hilt.

Scandinavia are Socialist with the advantage of integrity. Do you really think Cable as a Director of UK PLC would or be allowed to do anything to hurt the other MP Directors?

  • Scandinavia "are" (sic) socialist are they?

    What utter tripe.

Scandinavia has long been the showcase for Social Democracy in action, though of course, that did not prevent Sweden from having it's only banking crisis a few years ago.

I am not a tin-hat conspiracy theorist, I am a small businessman who has been round the block a hundred times, and recognises hubris when he hears it.

  • Ah I see you are the insulting Self Righteous type with no examples or sources but yourself to back up your comments?

Please explain why Scandinavia as a showcase 'Social Democracy' is not Socialism?

Conspiracy theories are only silly when they have no hard evidence to back them up.

If you are a small businessman you will have seen your business fall 20 - 25%on last year - not the 5% the Govt would have you believe the economy has shrunk.

Being Right is a trap - I would give it up.

  • .

Sweden did not just bail out its financial institutions by having the government take over the bad debts. It extracted pounds of flesh from bank shareholders before writing cheques. Banks had to write down losses & issue warrants to the government.

That strategy held banks responsible & turned the government into an owner. When distressed assets were sold, the profits flowed to taxpayers, & the government was able to recoup more money later by selling its shares in the companies as well.

  • Swedens crisis was caused by trying to create a housing property bubble through greed, inflating prices artificially whilst everyone jumped on the band wagon. For Vince Cable to have any credibility he should have been speaking up in the early 1990's - not waiting until it was too late and covering himself a couple of years ago with a few predictions - it was obvious to anyone who followed the Sweden crisis and all others back to 1929 what was going on - a stage managed economic collapse.

  • Have you read Freidrich Von Hayaks book Road the Serfdom (Slavery)? It demonstrates that all the crisis we have been through are done with the complete knowledge of Politicians & their Wealthy backers. Its all a huge scam to Endebt us & leave Banks with all the power.

Last September we had all stopped spending so the Govt & the Banks took our Taxpayers money for next 30 years anyway. Same in America.

Do you not see that Cable is just another level of Deception? He wouldnt be there otherwise.

  • No I do not.

When you've passed through political puberty let me know, then maybe we can have a realistic debate.

  • So you think being 'Popular' will solve the problems created by Politicians? Wasn't David Brent just 'trying to be popular'? This country should listen to US Congressman Ron Paul as recommended below. Too many politicians, banks and financial institutions are very comfortable with the status quo and can only tinker with the money mechanism, run up public debt and inflate bubbles that are all predicted to fail by Austrian Economics, Von Mises and Von Hayek 80 years ago and still hold true.

  • When was the last time Ron Paul predicted an economical crisis? Vince Cable, whether you like him or not, was the only major politician to correctly predict how our economy would turn out. Labour and the Tories chose to ignore. Now, the UK must choose to side with the politicians who actually know whats going on!

  • Ron Paul has always been saying the current financial set up is unsustainable, he vehemntly opposes Q.E and budget deficits and he has long argued that the way governments do things with our money will lead to chaos.

  • @binstig He didn't actually predict what was going to happen though...

  • As David Mitchell called it "the worst joke outside of centre court at wimbledon."

  • dont say that I was born in sri lanka, but I am a good friend to English people, Issac Newton was English, and the man who solved Fermats last Theory was English, so they are great people, and Mr Bean is the most genious form of comedy art I ever saw.

  • god...who in there right mind would want to sit in that room with those pen pushing geeks?

  • it's an insult to Mr. Bean..Gordon Brown is a sad joke but unfortunately the joke's on us

  • i lol'd.

  • Fucking hilarious , nice one Vince !

  • anyone noticed that Cable looks very much like Ken Campbell??

  • Why the fck isn't Cable Lib Dem leader? People cant even name the bland no-mark they have as leader at the moment.

    Vote LibDem next election!

  • Nick Clegg, but I see your point. I mean I don't like the Lib Dem's policies and there's no chance in hell I'm voting for them, but as a general all-round top bloke Vince is the man for the job.

  • Ah, yes. One hilarious one-liner and we clamor for the person to be elected.

Robin Williams for US President and Honorary British PM then?

  • Cable should have stood for Lib Dem leader.

  • aracnid99 you my friend have agood opion

  • that was such a BRILLIANT comment, well done!

  • gordon sucks he is the crappiest prime minister ever

  • better than john major

  • At least Major was honest

  • yeh true

  • ha ha ha ha are you shitting me? He ran the sleeziest government out of all of them!!! Do soem history lad.

  • Not only are the words marvellous, but the way he says is absolutely genius

  • Completly owned. Good on you the lib dems!

  • It does make me laugh when people put "vote labour/tory/ukip/liberal/bnp" etc.

I mean who in their right mind will read comments on a you tube video, read the "vote labour/etc" and think "well i was gonna vote tory but now someone has told me to vote labour i'll vote for them instead"

It's the most pointless exercise in the world.

  • he got told!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • ha ha good old vince. He should be leader of the lib dems.

  • On the grounds of economic competence, yes I agree.

  • I disagree, if he wanted to be the leader than yes i would agree but he doesnt want to be leader, makin someone a leader of somthing when they dont want to be is far worse than putting someone who is a crap leader in. Besides, Clegg has done a pretty good job as leader, he's polling higher than Brown on 45%.

  • he wanted to be but he did not want them to force him out like they did Menzies Campbell, campbell was constantlt critiscised about his age and as Vince is getting on a bit he did not want the same to happen. he is a great politician tho and would have made an excellent leader.

  • No to Gord.

  • This was a great moment in British politics.

  • Fuck the BNP, bunch of fucking Nazis!!! UKIP are just as bad..

  • vote for a nationalist socialist holocaust denier to save britain? You be spitting in the faces of the people who saved this country 60 years ago.

  • well said

  • Comment removed

  • vince is a legend

  • Haha legend. Vince Cable FTW

  • Is it just me or does he sound like Jimmy Saville? Now then, now then, boys and girls

  • LMAO

  • So many people up their own arses below. Why not just laugh at one of the funniest quips from a politician in years!!

  • simply saying 'vote BNP' isnt going to reverse the mindset of any individual with half a braincell, you actually have to make an arguement about WHY we should vote the BNP.

  • Simply saying vote BNP isnt going to change the min of anybdy who has an ounce of intellect, make a case on WHY we should vote BNP, simply saying vote BNP isnt going to do a thing.

  • "Islamification" eh?... I tihnk what you mean "Help us remove all of the competition from the workplace so our lazy, complacent supporters can get a good job despite being about as useful as a toothbrush in a rhino's anal cavity (not very)"

  • TomNortherner:

"Islamification" eh?... I tihnk what you mean "Help us remove all of the competition from the workplace so our lazy, complacent supporters can get a good job despite being about as useful as a toothbrush in a rhino's anal cavity (not very)"

    AMEN.

  • lmao - Vince Cable is a national treasure.

  • Did you know that last thing that he said "Order Out of Chaos" is the ILLUMINATI's motto!?

    Problem - Reaction -Solution.

In order to rule and do what they want they generate various problems (chaos) which demand public reaction, and then they offer their "solutions" (order). These "solutions" are usually good for the 'elite' and bad for us-

I mean think about Hitler's "Final Solution"..!

  • actually he said 'creating chaos out of order rather than order out of chaos'

    i.e. buggering everything up.

  • Ah, the conspiracy theorists are out in force, we need a good laugh in these tough times.

  • Seriously.. google "Ordo ab Chao" (Order out of Chaos).

  • 'Seriously' is perhaps not the best word to use in your situation...

  • LOL You feel qualified to give a critique on "my situation" huh? This puts you into a situation of arrogant presumption yourself. ;)

  • you showed him..

  • Cable gets MAJOR ownage points for that comment:P

  • Who wants to bet alot of the laughs were coming from the tories asmuch as the Lib Dems?

  • Laughs and "Here Here!"s lol

  • I wish Vince Cable was a Tory. He really is superb and does'nt deserve to spend his entire career wasting away in the Liberal Party where he will never get elected. Come on Vince, cross the House just like Churchill did and join the winning side where you can make a difference!!

  • Why on earth would Vince become a Tory - he is perfectly happy as a Liberal Democrat! And he will be elected again as MP for Twickenham!

  • Well yes, but the problem is that there he can never realisticly be something like chancellor, which is frankly what everyone wants to see. The Churchill reference is very valid. Churchill lead us through WW2 with the Conservatives, but he was also a Liberal member when that party pushed through it's important social reforms from 1906 onwards.

  • Comment removed

  • Vince Cable does not hold Tory values, go with a party which you think best represents your values.

  • 110% AGREED!! Cable is an incredible politician and could be a powerful player for us.

  • he actually did suggest a coalition with the tories but charles kennedy wouldnt hear of it, thats one of the reasons why Vince cable tried to get rid of him

  • Cable's personal views resemble what the Lib Dems stand for so it would make no sense whatsoever for him to become a Tory. Cable is one of those rare politicians who's in what they are in because they believe in it, not for power, and that isn't going to change.

  • Kudos to Cable:P No one as put Browns government as accuratly into one sentance as he him:P

  • as he has*

  • This is the first time I've heard of Mr. Bean [Rowan Atkinson] considering becoming Prime Minister. Or is this one of those cute parodies?

  • probably the only good thing that has ever come out from the liberal democrats lol

  • Nick Clegg is good and everything but he needs to be stronger. His speeches all seem like hes putting his hand on your back and saying "hey now, itll be alright." Id prefer him to take the country by the hand and say "Come on, lets get stuck in!"

  • Vince has an economics Phd and is one of the only people to be talking sense and caution at this time.

  • Too true !Why, oh why, didn't he stand for leader ???

  • I wish I could give you an answer on that one...All along he has come up with workable ideas... Browns plans are a bit like a gambler rolling a dice.

Its all getting a bit nasty at the minute. With the MPs arrest....

  • Call me whatever you want but I reckon Vince Cable is the guy this bloody country needs !!

  • At least with Mr Cable you know where you are.

I was watching a debate on Mr Beans plans and it was asked why only a 13 months VAT reduction, will everything be sorted by then?? They just didn't get it. The Govt cant wait any longer than 13 months before firing up the stealth tax machine again. Labours figures are seriously flawed. Vince was very good in a recent tri party debate he somehow adopted the role as an arbiter and came across very well.

  • He was filling in for after the resignation of Ming Campbell. He didn't stand as he thought his age would be a barrier (as it seemed to be for Sir Ming)

  • Brown should put him in the govt. Obama is accepting people into his cabinet from the other side if they are good. We need the same for Cable, he knows more about the economic situation than probably anyone in the Commons.

  • I'm afraid Brown weakness is his control freak mentality.

It would have given the Govt a lot more credibility if they did as you suggest. If you look back the Govt ignored many many warnings on all aspects of the financial management. The other Person that had a good idea as to what was unfolding was Robert Preston.

The other thing that needs to happen is for some accountability to be shown. There is increasing evidence of gambling and fraud within the financial institutions.

  • It's fairly infeasible... I'm sure such a senior member of an opposition party wouldn't want to be bound by the collective responsibility placed on all ministers

  • LOL thats about the best thing that has ever come from the Liberal Democrats

  • a house filled with traitorous scum

  • genius. Pure Genius!

  • THE only difference between Brown and Mr. Bean is that Mr. Bean is popular and is better at his job.

  • thats an insult to Mr Bean! comparing Gordon brown to him because if Mr Bean was PM he'd do a much better job

  • Mr Bean has better people skills.
