I remember in the 80s, myself and fellow student film buff mates would bag Kingsley for being a pretentious, poncey overrated British shakespearean bore , whilst worshipping at the altar of De Niro , the ultimate cool American method film actor..how times have changed..Kingsley's the "cool" actor these days and De Niro sadly has becom a hack

Ben Kingsley does well to bring out and describe the core idea of this film which is that when a person that has trouble admitting to flaws, who's deathly afraid of accepting help from others because that would acknowledge the impossibility of omnipotence, and who thus has reached for help from others (and authentically accepted and and acted on such help over extended periods of time), personal growth occurs. Albert Camus had the same kind of trouble when flirting with church membership.

He was in a movie from australia which was great movie very different type movie. He represents a man named "Black" who has a crew break in to a vault through a pool . I saw it few weeks ago wanted to rent it but dont know the tittle . Movie is fairly old
