  • Sad.

...It is just SO sad. It's depressing that we have to be SO oppressed by other people's religion in America today. They want SO bad to turn this country into a Christian nation, they're willing to lie and cheat for it.

  • The juxtaposition of young Earth creationism with the immigration issue is ridiculous. These matters are entirely unrelated. And while there may be no good reason to believe in a 6000-year-old Earth, there are many excellent reasons to favor a more selective and restrictive immigration policy for America.

  • i think the ages that your adding up doesnt make sense since idk u add up every persons age till they had children and not every persons age till they die like u said adam lived 130 years bt in the bible it says he lived until he was 930 years old not 130

  • the age of the earth does not have to be the age of the universe.

  • @TheSleepingbandit

Of course not. The Earth and our star is much younger.

  • The Universe is about 13.8 billions years old, while our solar system is only about 4.5 billions.

  • @Shweta9244 Indeed makes you wonder what great civilizations must have passed in those years, like a microbe on a sand grain, we wonder what may lie on the other side of the ocean, while our fellow microbes try and convince us that our grain of sand is the single most important stuff in the entire universe - amazing indeed is the perspective of naturalism and despicable are those who try and pull the blinds on our amazing and wonderous but fleeting existence.

  • what is the name of the foto at 9:41 ?????

  • poor, poor christians

  • Regarding the parting of the Red Sea @ 7:25, a "land bridge" 900' below teh surface was discovered in the Red Sea right where there is a huge beach that can only be accessed by one winding path through the mountains. King Solomon erected pillars on the beaches as memorials to the crossing. FACT: There ARE egyptian chariots and chariot wheels and rib cages of the egyptian army preserved in coral on the sea floor. Search for vids of it on here. "Chariots Parting of Red Sea" or something...

  • @StratMatt777 "Regarding the parting of the Red Sea..." Just some statistics to consider: If the Hebrews took a narrow path through the Red Sea, double file, the line would be 800 miles long and require 35 days and nights to cross. In order to cross in a single day they would have had to cross 5000 abreast across a space in the red sea 3 miles wide, not taking into account all goods and livestock.

"There ARE egyptian chariots..." No documented artifacts have ever been retrieved.

  • @ReverendWyrm No artifacts have been received because it is a protected reef area. If you remove something Saudi Arabia would jail you or worse. What is so funny about all you guys is that you are all the same. I'm NOT INSULTING, I'm saying that you don't believe anything that is not on ABC or CNN and you do ZERO internet research. Here is one of hundred of sites on this: w x3 squidoo(dot)com/redseacrossing

/watch?v=bQKUG5OX-9w /watch?v=a_wIKiOgk10 There's so much data to open your eyes to.

  • @StratMatt777

Ok, but who cares if this story happened? In fact, if it really did happen as the Bible describes it shows God is a psychopathic mass-murderer. He waited from the pursuing Egyptians to begin crossing the sea and then he closed the waters in upon them, thus killing all the men and their horses. This is not a benevolent God, it is a cruel, petty, vengeful God that murders his enemies, not loves them.

  • @DiscoveringReligion You clearly have not read the account of the Exodus from Egypt where God, through Moses, warned Pharoah over and over and OVER to let his people go instead of keeping them as slaves.

The Pharoah finally let them go after several plagues. Then he changed his mind after he already let them go and decided to go after them and capture or kill them.

The fact that this comment has 2 thumbs up is laughable. Don't READ the actual account or anything... just blindly hate God!

  • @StratMatt777

When Jesus speaks of the "Father" to whom is he referring? It's the same HEBREW God that commanded the genocide, infanticide, rape and enslavement of non-believing nations. If you really have problem with the actions of the Jews, then you have a problem with God himself, who encouraged and commanded these acts. Indeed, God is even to blame for Pharaoh's actions, for God hardened Pharaoh's heart so he WOULDN'T let God's people go! (Ex 4:21) Jesus doesn't come from very good stock.

  • @StratMatt777 "No artifacts have been received because it is a protected reef area." Which puts heavy doubt on the claims that these coral formations are parts of ancient chariots. I've looked into these claims but there is no corroborating evidence to support them. Even Ron Wyatt dismissed some of these "parts" as being simply coral formations. The "wheel" Wyatt claimed to be in his possession has mysteriously vanished so no verification of any sort can take place.

  • @StratMatt777 A web page from a content creation site and a Youtube video? Can I haz actual research?

  • hahahaha ... banana man is one of them .. and so is crocoduck man ..!!!

  • If theism is true, 1)the universe has been created for a purpose 2)it would be finite in the past, exhibiting incredible design & predictability 3) an intelligent creature would emerge to observe the universe is rationally intelligible 4)Such a creature would be blessed with free will&reason, ability to grieve, dream, hope & to love 5) the issue of a personal God & transcendent meaning would be the most compelling issue dominating all human history. 6)life would have ultimate meaning & destiny

  • Trying to disprove God by comparing religions is like trying to deny the existence of atoms b/c we will probably never be able to see them and b/c there has been numerous conflicting atomic orbital models & theories. Moreover evolution as a possible mechanism for the incredible biodiversityof life, no more disproves God than gravity did for Newton or Einstein in trying to explain planetary motion. All effects and mechanisms require abstract laws & causal agents. So does evolution!

  • It does take years to brain wash someone into adopting a particular religious doctrine. Especially something as insane as Christianity. Forget about the many profound contradictions in the bible, that can be glossed over by the mildly faithful. How does a reasonable mind believe in the flood or the Tower of Babel? The Garden Eden w/ talking snakes, Tree of Knowledge? The bible says it took god 3 days to create the Earth and only 1 day to create the stars! The bible vandalizes your mind!!!

  • @vanyortie "The bible vandalizes your mind !' Do u really expect it to be a 31st century book on science?? It is a library of books written in many genre. If atheism is true why even care, arent u just a "collocation of atoms & electrons" or as Dawkins says "a bunch of selish genes fighting for survival in a world of pittiless indifference."? Isnt ur brain just the product of ancient chemicals & blind forces? On whose authoraty do u hold that ur brain chemistry is any more authorative than mine?

  • The background music is quite annoying!~

  • I though young Earth creationists thought the world was around 6000 years old?

  • @CorkPhop Or just young Earthers....don't know why I threw in Creationist......though....I suppose most young Earthers are probably ALSO Creationists...

  • @CorkPhop Actually the hebrew word for "day" is "dom". It can literally mean a day or an "era". Since we're still in the 7th day of creation, sort of knocks ur theory on the head, what?

  • Very good video. Thank you and congratulations!

  • This whole series is so good that it gives me chills . Its one of the series that I point to when trying to talk since to christians . I HAVE converted about 15 people in my life from christianity , however I have talked to many hundreds . I find a direct link between intelligence and what people believe . If I find a person is to lazy ( to stupid ) to at least listen to what you have to say in these vids I pity them.

  • @bockydo or should I say de-converted lol

  • @bockydo Whatabout a "debaptism" I hear its a ritual coming at a convention near you.

  • @Prodigalfather1 Hitler was a Christian. Pass it on.

  • @BlameRepublicans Hitler was a neo-Darwinian Maniac who believed that the fittest race should survive at the expense of the the old, weak, & genetically impure. Hitler was no more a Christian than Dawkins, Barker or Flew once were. Pass it on!

  • @Prodigalfather1

Although Hitler may have tried to incorporate "survival of the fittest" into his ideas of racial purity, it shows a profound misunderstanding of evolution on Hitler's part. Psychopaths are certainly prone to misusing information. Certain Christians once burned witches, so should we label all Christians as delusional psychopaths? No! Just because someone misuses info, it says nothing about that info's validity. But Hitler believed he was doing God's will, it's a documented fact.

  • @Prodigalfather1 Sorry - the historical fact is Hitler was a Christian. He had Synagogues and Mosques destroyed, yet ordered all christian churches preserved in the areas they took over. They had christian chaplin ranks in the military, and "Positive Christianity" was the OFFICIAL religion of the Nazi Party. Wake up - your religion was the religion of the Nazis. Sorry.

  • @BlameRepublicans Sorry? Which part of "love ur enemies, do good to those who hurt u, bless those who curse u" didnt Hitler understand? Sorry "Even the devil can quote scripture for his own ends." Matt4: In the:20-30s, Hitler cleverly used Scripture to win over a people desperate for a voice to lead them out of the WW1 disaster. In his later yrs he was surrounded with atheist thugs like Boorman, Goering, Goebbels. Anyone can say they are moral agents but people are judged by deeds not words.

  • "If you tell a big enough lie and tell it frequently enough, it will be believed."

"The best thing is to let Christianity die a natural death.... “The law of selection justifies this incessant struggle, by allowing the survival of the fittest. Christianity is a rebellion against natural law, a protest against nature. Taken to its logical extreme, Christianity would mean the systematic cultivation of the human failure.” Adoft Hitler,(the madman) as recorded by Martin Boorman

  • Oh so b/c Hitler was not a "perfect christian" he can't be one at all? Right - so that means the total number of christians in the world would be 0. No - you are delusional. Hitler was christian. Was he a bad christian? You bet, but he was christian none the less. SORRY.

  • @BlameRepublicans Revelation 22:14 "Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city." Hitler did NOT do the commandments of God or Jesus! It is widely known he and the SS was heavily obsessed with the occult and taking part in occult rituals.

I'm not going to read previous comments instead of going to bed, but I do realize you are trolling. Nice work.

  • For starters – yes, I am a troll, congratulations on your keen investigatory skills. What gave me away? ;-) Secondly – Please don’t quote your cult’s book to me. You may as well quote the Sears catalog to me. It’s meaningless. Lastly – It is a HISTORICAL FACT that Hitler was a devout Christian. You need to stop lying about your brother in Christ. I understand why you wish to distance yourself from Hitler, but you must accept the truth.

  • @bockydo I appreciate you doing the good work of spreading Atheism, ALL HAIL FLYING SPAGHETTI MONSTER! But seriously, thank you.

  • @EvilNaruto15 People are naturally born atheist man , it takes YEARS of brainwashing in most cases to convert somebody to a true christian .

  • @bockydo . If atheism is true then the brain is just a "collocation of atoms" (Russell) or "a bunch of selfish genes with no other purpose than survival" (Dawkins) So if the brain functions as a bunch of chemical reactions in a survival machine then all reality is reducible to mindless matter. Q1 are the abstract laws of science & Math invented or were they discovered? Q2 How do intelligent immaterial realities exist in a universe of mindless matter &energy?

  • If atheism is true 1. the universe is just product of blind forces & mindless matter having no purpose or design. Why should it exist at all or obey abstract laws, &not be a random, chaotic mess of noxious swirling gases; meaningless tragedies are exactly what one would expect. Since it has no meaning, no mind would evolve to ever deduce it has no meaning. If any life were possible it would evolve thru blind chance as molecules & selfish genes. There would be no meaning no hope no escape.

  • 3. If atheism is true, then morality is just illusory, a spinoff of socio-biological evolution. It matters not whether u live a life as a motherTeresa or Adoft Hitler. The law of the jungle is amoral where the fittest survive at the expense of the weak, the old & genetically impure. Hitler, the maniacal dictator was just following neo-Darwinian evolution when he said, “The law of selection justifies this incessant struggle, the weak should perish allowing the survival of the fittest.”

  • @Prodigalfather1 "If atheism is true, then morality is just illusory,"

    False

    "...a spinoff of socio-biological evolution."

    True

"It matters not whether u live a life as a motherTeresa or Adoft Hitler."

    False

"The law of the jungle is amoral where the fittest survive at the expense of the weak,"

Natural selection is not nearly as simple as you describe it. "fittest" does not mean "strongest" or "at the expense of others"

  • @BailiffQuimby "If you tell a big enough lie and tell it frequently enough, it will be believed."

  • @Prodigalfather1

"Hitler, the maniacal dictator was just following neo-Darwinian evolution when he said, “...."

What was he just following when he said, "I believe that I am acting in accordance with the will of the Almighty Creator: by defending myself against the Jew, I am fighting for the work of the Lord."?

  • @Prodigalfather1

"Since it has no meaning, no mind would evolve to ever deduce it has no meaning."

    How do you figure?

"If any life were possible it would evolve thru blind chance as molecules & selfish genes."

"Blind chance" is a bit minimalist, don't you think?

"There would be no meaning no hope no escape."

    False.

  • I appreciate the work, but this is a straw man's argument based on a modern interpretation of life and very selective scriptures of very selective faiths. If you're going to address "religion", shouldn't you start with animism or shamanism, AKA, the FIRST appearance of homo sapiens' longing for the divine, then proceed from there? You quickly dismiss allegory, but the truth is, metaphor has always been essential to understanding "God" or "the unknown", and premodern humans didn't focus on fact.

  • on the 7th day God rested??? why would a "God" need to rest??? dumb.

  • @TheBrindleBoxer Yep, I was going to say the same thing. To say that God "rested" implies that the poor fellow gets tired, which is a very human trait. God has limitations then? That would completely conflict with the all powerful, omnipotence claim that everybody and their brother seem to make. It has to be one or the other people!!.....

  • @almightycatman But god wanted to eat some pancakes! How can you deny a man/god pancakes?! How do you like my impression of christian "logic"?

  • @TheBrindleBoxer ever heard of symbolism, metaphor, hyperbole, mysticism or poelmic verse?

"There are those who have seen sufficient evidence but suppress the truth in unrighteousness" Matt19 Sadly!

"“The more I study science the more I believe in God.” (Einstein, as cited in Holt 1997).

Frank Tipler (Professor of Mathematical Physics): "From the perspective of the latest physical theories, Christianity is not a mere religion, but an experimentally testable science." (27)

  • @BailiffQuimby Does ur atheism rise or fall on Einstein's theology which waxed & waned thru out his life? Read his biography especially tthe Saturday Evening Post interview:- “Do you accept the historical Jesus?”

“Unquestionably! No one can read the Gospels without feeling the actual presence of Jesus. His personality pulsates in every word. No myth is filled with such life.” –Albert Einstein

    What myth fills ur life?

  • you think were moving CLOSER to a more ethical, conservative country?hahahahahaha

  • @guineapiggyman

More conservative? Yes. More ethical? No. The two are not mutually exclusive. Politicians like Nixon, Reagan, Bush, Palin and Perry are the most conservative, unethical people in recent political history, and in each of their respective hay-days they were/are darlings of the Republican Party. However, Democrats aren't any better. Ethics and morals are discarded by every politician in their grab for money and power, but as the US declines, the Tea Party is laughing all the way.

  • @DiscoveringReligion they wear the conservative mask, but were more about power and prestige.

  • REAL STATS IN CANADA:

It is true that last year's poll suggested that nationally a disappointingly low majority of 59% of Canadians accept the notion of common descent. However, only 22% accept young earth creationism. In Ontario, the data are especially disheartening, with only 51% of respondents accepting evolution (but still only half as many choosing creationism). In Quebec, 71% accept evolution and only 9% align with creationist ideas.

  • 1:36 This map is Bullshit... Québec is shown as one of the less accepting evolution 90%... The real fact is that this is so wrong.. As the rest of canada too... Here in québec where i live evolution is teached in public schools and widely accepted... There is no stupid creationist theory teached and it's perfect that way. This map show the percentage of baptized peoples.

In québec 90% are considered as christian because they are baptized.. I got baptized and all that stuff... But i am Atheist !

  • @Mickr4

Bullshit? I've already corrected my mistake with an annotation when the video pauses for a full 5 seconds so everyone can read it. How could you have possibly missed that?

  • @DiscoveringReligion Ha.. My bad i always dis-activate the annotation ^^

  • @DiscoveringReligion

Sorry, Discovering, but you are wrong. You corrected the map of Europe with an annotation. You utterly failed to correct your map of North America. The map of Europe is about Evolution and not belief and you corrected that. The map of North America is simply wrong. Your annotation does not state that the map is wrong. It merely states that it is about Evolution and not belief. But, the fact is that belief in Quebec is amongst the lowest in the world.

  • @DiscoveringReligion. I love and support your videos and i am Deist. But the way I see it is that "The universe is just as mysterious as god."

  • @Mickr4 What is an atheist? a cosmic accident of ancient chemicals & infinite luck that has now reasoned that the universe has no meaning since it consists only of mindless matter. Dont u believe that ultimate reality is just the random movement of chemicals in ur brain? Evolution no more disproves God than gravity did for Newton or Einstein. Both are just mechanisms that require a causal agent aw well as a set of highy complex, abstract laws which cant exists in ur all material world..

  • @Gericho49 Well, why would there have to be a reason for existance? Of course, there could be a reason, but it is onw that we do't know yet. Can this reason to be found from human made religions, myths and fables? In a word: No. If you want a longer reason: BWAAHAHAHAAHAHAAHAH! No.

And besides, even if there was a reason to be found from religions for everything existance, what makes any one of the more "correct" or the only "real" one?

  • @Arkticus I'll answer your last question regarding what makes any religion the only real one. Answer: The founder of every religion is dead in their grave... EXCEPT for Jesus who was resurrected and witnessed by 500 people at once, in addition to the smaller groups and disciples who saw Him.

Also the eclipse that occured when Jesus died (recorded by secular writers) was astronomically impossible due to the location of the moon.

If Jesus was dead we would not be speaking of it today.

  • @StratMatt777

The primary reason why the religions of the past have dissipated is because of years of bloodshed and fear; if you believe Christianity garnered its predominance through divine intervention instead of by the sword, than I'd encourage you to read some history books, particularly read-up on the Christianization of the Roman Empire and the Northern Crusades

Both Christianity and Islam gained their prevalence through violence; religious survival of the fittest

  • @Arkticus Also, other religions are easily debunked as man-made and not from God.

    1. Catholicism: A pagan sun-worshipping that "remodled" and became Christian to control the masses- but they still have an obelisk in the courtyard and popes= blasphemy.

    2. Islam: Since antiquity pagan gods have been worshipped in Mecca at the Kabaa. They used to worship Ishtaar and 359 other gods, but Muhommad decided that polytheism was bad so he burned 359 of them and converted pagans over with the sword. etc.

  • @Mickr4 When they make those maps, they sometimes will count baptized and those registered instead of polling people like a census.

  • @kelbykross1 Yea that's not precise at all >:(

  • Religion is much older then that, you fail to understand the first part of genisis in that even after the fall of eve time still not exsist in the manner it does today.

  • Quote from John Lennon-"God is a concept."

  • @98bigbutt yup a metaphysical concept, its called mono-theism,mono=one,theism=theory. Literally the 'theory of one god'.. The idea of god or dieties is a phenomenal appearance in the sensibilty of ourselves as subjects and a manner of species of representation that humans have been using since the Bronze Age. Nowadays most people are aware the grand questions of speculative metaphysics such as origin of life/cosmos are 'unknowable'. Atheism rises as we shed our tribalism and ignorance.

  • The reason why we still have religion in this world because there are still close and weak-minded people and still wants to believe in this fantasy world that the Earth is 6000 years old and not the reality that it's 6.5 billion years old.

  • What an abundance of typical christian remarks from clearly christians - staying true to your true selves are't you ...

  • Light from starts takes millions of years to reach here.

Ergo the universe is not 6000 years old.

  • @batistaker123 ; VERY GOOD AND LOGICAL OBSERVATION.

  • Great job keep it up .. !!

  • dosent the cross comes from the Sumerians sign of nibiru or something ..

  • Atheism = A lack of belief in God.

Theism = The belief that all science is wrong, and that God must have done it because I don't understand it.

Theism is the only logical conclusion.

  • Allah the lord of the worlds! read and recite the quran! for lo! Allah creath anything he wish! he only says to it "BE" and it is !

  • I don't usually comment, but i feel compelled to point out that many of the comments that propose the disorder caused by religion or that point out the lack of faith (in a general sense) of atheists are an example of the turmoil of differing beliefs. Everyone clearly has very different opinions, but i think one thing is obvious; if you hold on stubbornly to our beliefs without any honest consideration for others you are merely creating more turmoil.

Also, spelling also seems to be an issue o.o

  • @clowmodoki No, no, no. Atheism is NOT a belief! How do so many (normally religious people) get this wrong?? Athiesm is NOT a religion, it's a word, which means no belief. It has nothing to do with faith, or evilness, or even anti-religious. Its a word, plain and simple. And for the love of pete, the planet is 4.6 billion years old. Don't trust that 2000yr old mythical treasure chest; it was written by illiterate, uninformed, superstitious human beings!

  • @MrDBarch I am aware of the dictionary definition of atheism, as well as the definition of belief...I am aware of the stereotypes attached to atheists (seeing as I am one myself) however, that was not the point of my comment. I am not interested in what people believe of others or there beliefs, but it is apparent that people here are fighting an endless battle. Again i repeat ppl will cling stubbornly to beliefs and these arbitrary complaints about syntax and who's right and wrong will arise...

  • i think every religion sucks.

religions only separate people from each other. MAnkind were doing just fine before there were any religions. from separation comes differences, and from differences comes war. not always, but mostly.

do you think muslims and jews would be at war if there were religions?

do you think 6.000.000 jews were killed in WW2 if there were religions??

do you think jesus was cruisified if there were religions? (if that really happened)

    i dont think so

  • @bertuskut It is not religion that caused those atrocities brother, it was the evil in the hearts of those who carried them out. Christianity promotes equality and peace between men, perhaps other religions promote hatred and fear but if a religion needs to resort to that perhaps that is proof it does not speak for Him.

  • @bertuskut you are completely right except one thing. Jesus did die on the cross as there is historical evidence. Like I'm Christian but bursa did live as there is historical evidence

  • a senator with a view that earth is 6000 years old does not belong in the senate.

  • FACT: Fundamentalists aren't Fun at all

Unto each one hath been prescribed a pre-ordained measure, as decreed in God's mighty and guarded Tablets. All that which ye potentially possess can, however, be manifested only as a result of your own volition. Your own acts testify to this truth." Gleanings from the Writings of Baha'u'llah

  • =D can't spell fundamentalists with out "fun"

  • @Triaxionality and you can't spell it without "mental".

  • @Mystrymeat hahaha thats funny, but no evolution is true no ands ifs or buts. If the earth is 6000 years old then that means the world didn't exist until religion came by.... i think you are being dooped.

  • @iq1501 What are you talking about? I wasn't saying it in a positive way. By "mental" I meant they were mentally ill.

  • @AquariusLove100 my favorite mythological gods are H.P. lovecrafts, roman gods, and japanese gods. I don't worship any gods but I like the stories because in the end it's all just fiction just like the holy bible.

  • I've actually had fundies tell me with a straight face that bones can't fossilize because after millions of years they'd disintigrate into dust...

  • why do people believe the bible and god and jesus when there are numerous gods that have all been forgotten? To me it seems like people just traded one myth for another. That's just what I believe.

  • so i guees there was dinosaurs only 6000 years ago

  • Bibles are no more proof of god than fairy tales are proof of fairies.

  • If the bible is the word of God, then toilet paper is the word of sphincters.

  • As a Jew, I'm sorry my ancestors wrote the book that caused Islam and Christianity to spring up and do so much damage to the world :/.

I do have loyalty to my people, but I dont literally believe whats in the Torah and thankfully a lot of us are the same way. Still we have our crazies too.

  • It is your lucky day with naughty hot chicks mworld5.info

  • maybe since the god of the bible see's 1000 years as a day, what that is saying is we should make everyday holy.in other words dont just do good on sunday,or saturday if your 7th day adventist, but to do good every day.this is just my interpretation speaking as an athiest

  • @ranchai100 ...The 7th day commandment has to do with not working. No other day are we to cease from working, nor did God make any other day Holy.

  • It's a shame how not even a basic level of knowledge is required to attain a post at the Congress.

  • 4:10 lol

  • religion=separation, war, brainwashed, stupidity

    i got 1 question and only1

WHO THE FUCK IS MAKING THE RELIGION?

  • @ertdyuyik the smarter people who know how easy it is to manipulate the retardifuckedupariffic masses if you threaten them with being lit on fire for all of eternity if they don't worship your imaginary friend.

    ۞ Ia Ghoudathulhu Fhtagn! ۞

  • @ertdyuyik

It started with idiotic followers, who confused magicians with superhumans or gods.

  • I hope you realize that America as the "melting pot" was conceived by socialists in the late 19th century. E pluribis unum means "out of many [states], one [nation"].

Funny how all the commie countries were "atheist".

  • @OptimusTrajan Funny how all the oppressive kings, queens and Zaars the "commies" rebelled against, relied upon religion to justify them being the masters of everyone. I can see no rational reason why commies would hate organized religion because of that - no sir....................

  • @popperlicious They still believed in equality, which is unscientific, and a christian belief.

The commies killed their people in slave labor camps. Their "oppressive" kings never did that.

  • @OptimusTrajan They believed in equality yes. What does that have to do with science in this context?

I don't agree that equality is an inherently christian belief. many other religions strive for equality, not just the christian one. But that does in no way prove that religion is the only way for people to come to the conclusion that equality could be a good thing.

I did not say that what the communists did was good. I was trying to show you why the communist would rationally hate religion.

  • @OptimusTrajan Hahaha What are you on about? Kings not having people enslaved?! Too funny. If you're more talkin about prison labor camps, all systems use/used that. Despotism, Monarchy, Fundamentalism, Democracy, Capitalism, Communism... all can be seen in good and bad lights. If someone actually bothers to read Marx's work, they find out that democracy is a fundamental part to an effective communist system. Capitalism (private owned) is the opposite of communism (state owned) , not democracy.

  • @devlinxiro Democracy is mass slavery. Thank God for republics.

  • @OptimusTrajan *scratches head* I'm supposing you're being sarcastic.

Although the term republic has many different meanings, it usually refers to a representative democracy with an elected head of state, such as a president, serving for a limited term, in contrast to states with a hereditary monarch as a head of state, even if these states also are representative democracies with an elected or appointed head of government such as a prime minister.

  • what a stupid conservative lady... people only really started draining the world of its natural resources around the time of the industrial revolution which wasnt that long ago. & nice music... sounds like "the hours" soundtrack... am i right?

  • so moving to europe

  • I wouldn't go lookin' though wiki if your after facts.

Also, as the chimps evolved (1000000* yrs)until God breathed spirit into Adam (6000 yrs)??

I'm star dust, billion years in the making, all for my suck hole life witch gets shat on. I say not worth it.

Don't shake hands with religion, she will back stab.

  • you should look at the fact that light is not a constant. light has slowed down in the last 125 years. and 6000 years ago would have been going incredibly fast

  • @gabeparkerone "you should look at the fact that light is not a constant. light has slowed down in the last 125 years. and 6000 years ago would have been going incredibly fast"

I prefer to think god created light already well on it's way to the earth. Every religion needs a trickster. And Satan does a poor job. Do drugs, fuck whores... What kind of a trick is that? Those are things I wanna do anyway.

Fossils too, already in the sand. Ever saw a dinosaur crawl under the mud? No veggie t-rex.

  • @Meurglys33 Well I'm not exactly sure what side your on but it is likely that dinosaurs coexisted with man. On all corners of the world there are cave drawings of dinosaurs and thats probably because they saw dinosaurs. The first full dinosaur skeleton wasn't put together until the 1800's so I doubt that all these civilizations saw bones in the ground and decided to draw them.

  • @gabeparkerone there was a gap of many thousands of years between dinosaurs and humans. I think you may be confusing cave drawings of birds, bears, wolves, cattle, etc, with dinosaurs. I can't recall ever seeing any ancient cave drawings uf dinosaurs.

  • The funny thing is, that the genealogies of the Septuagint give a 7500-year-old earth. Which version is right?

  • @leruf

I'm not sure, but according to my personal calculations its less than 6,000. You could try adding it up for yourself, I cite the passages in the video.

  • @DiscoveringReligion Yes, the Masoretic Text gives 6000 yrs. That's the version used by Jews and Protestants. The Septuagint (LXX) gives 7500 yrs, and this text tradition is actually centuries older than the MT. So the whole young earth argument can be weakened by the inconsistency of different OT text traditions.

  • @leruf

Ah ok, I was not aware of such a great difference between the two translations. I appreciate the clarification.

  • @DiscoveringReligion how old is the earth according to muslims??? ne idea??

  • @leruf

I consider the young earth argument more weakened by the continued existence of China and its historical written records over the last 8600 years, oblivious to the fact that there weren't supposed to have been created for another 2700 years, or that some 4000 years later they were supposed to have all perished in a global flood in which the waters rose to cover the highest mountaintops and destroy everything with the breath of life in it.

Apparently China just missed that memo.

  • @rkyeun maybe china made a mistake...were only human

  • @rkyeun lol or that King Narmar was invading Lybia 6000 years ago--but explaining such things to "Creation Science" devotees is like teaching a pitbowl to ballet dance. For this reason I consider it much more realistic to attack their doctrine from within.

  • @leruf PWNED CREATIONISTS!
