I remember this track very well. My dad was never happy about listening to Sheer Heart Attack(the song that preceeded this on the album) and used to jump onto All Dead. I found this track extremely boring at that point but now I absolutely love listening to it. Much prefer it over Sheer Heart Attack.

My grandfather actually was a big fan of queen. He told us to play this on his death bed. He literally closed his eyes when Freddie sang his last repeat of "All dead an gone..." It was so sad yet so magical.

You can feel the sadness and the nostalgic rythm in this song. I think Brian´s compositions are easily recognizable because of their theme, they all have this sad theme and he also says that he´s old, just like in " Good Company".

Compare the Beatles catalog to Queen's. Then compare the Beatles individual members solo output of music to Queens individual members. As good as Queen is, the Beatles are almost in a class by themselves.
