I know that there are big sinners in the Catholic Church, 'a hospital for sinners' as Fulton Sheen once described her. Bishop Brown of Orange is a pathetic bishop. Why the Vatican will move the coffin as John Paul II is ludicrou$. You didn't answer my main part of my argument about the incorrupt saints. Was that God's way of getting money for the Church? You forget that the temporal meets the eternal here on Earth, sinners and God working together. Nathaniel Hawthorne had that same problem.

@ERAP1st I worked in Cemeteries, John Paul II is likey pretty much the same as when he was laid to rest, being the body was in such an air tight dry environment. But no one knows for sure as their not opening the coffin itself or so I read..Non the less he was a man of peace...non corrupt! and worthy of the honour his people are bestoying upon him, and I'm Lutheran..

I always said JP II wouldn't be down in the catacombs very long. He's a true monetary saint for the Catholic Church. Now they bring him upstairs so everyone can see, more people come to the church, more people spend money while at the Vatican. That's why they call him a $aint.

Or what about Catherine of Siena (died in the 14th century), whose remains I personally saw at the church? While we're at it, you have the remains of Pope Padre Pio, a mystic and stigmatist whose remains were unearthed in 2008 after forty years of death? Please explain to me what they will get out of the $55 million they just spent for the Crystal Cathedral in California? My first question is how did they get the money to put up the bid?
