The z06 has serious power but its nothing compared to German precision of the Gt which is built using precision computer programs which reject parts that may even slightly compromise the speed of the car when finished.

Most probably ZO6 was in second gear at 60 or 70mph [[[[[ ZO6 can go 90mph in second gear]]]]]] when hit the gas but then shift to third gear because the carrera gt did not hit the gas, then when he actualy did, the gt was at the full power band, by the time ZO6 tried to catch up in third gear it was too late

Not to shure about this race, listen to the sound of corvette and jumping power at 0:51 seconds, that corvette had more to give, who knows what happens.

Life isn't speed. I prefer comfort & luxery over speed.

Thats why i have a bentley continental gt. It isn't by far the fastest but it wil do 60 in 4.5 and 320km/h.

But it wil do that in all the luxery you can only dream about...

Power to weight ratio makes a huge diffrence! Most Mercedes are very heavey despite having all the hp. So the Vette with it's lighter weight and areodynamics would prevail in every aspect of performance! Both are great cars!

yeah it has 200 more horsepower, but 700 pounds more weight. In the end, yeah, the GTR would most likely win, but it wouldn't "smoke" it as you previously stated. It would beat it by a hair.

look an HKS 600hp GTR was neck and neck with a Carrera GT. They raced several times against each other... P800 GTR smokes HKS GTR... So, you predict what will happen between Carerra GT and that GTR... You can also wait, since you are gonna watch that race pretty soon.
