Woah, this is good. But seriously, the only Emery I've heard before this (I only recently got into them) was Disguising Mistakes With Goodbyes, and my favorite one As Your Voice Fades. I've heard more, but nothing I remember the names of. But it was nothing like this. I thought Linkin Park changed. Woah. But, I like this sound too. Thumbs up Emery (not saying thumbs up this btw), I respect the diversity in musical taste, talent, and sound.

Dear Emery,

I love you to Death and IOAM was great but it just wasn't the same. I'm so happy you could change your sound and still be great, but you were my band when you were screaming ARE YOU LISTENINGG???!! And saying things like "Disgust and Denial". Harmonizing like in Fractions and Ponytail Parades.

Sincerely a fan... a friend... a listener, and not much more.

I didn't like that album until I bought it and started listening to it. I thought the Myspace songs didn't sound like the old emery I knew. I was wrong though, Every song on that album is worth listening to.

Because their sound changed so drastically from The Question and The Weak's End. They experimented with different sounds and stylings and many fans were too narrow-minded or used to the old Emery to give IOAM a chance.

I actually didn't like IOAM at first because the sound was just too different for me at the time. Namely because of the lack of screaming,

ANYWAYS I'M DIFFERENT NOW AND I'VE GROWN UP. And I must say, IOAM is probably Emery's most overlooked release, but IMO it's their best.

@SinOfANBU Since I just recently started listening to Emery I was never biased towards IOAM. I love all of Emery's styles and sounds! The Question and In Shallow Seas are my favorite albums though.
