  • Agnes had such an engaging, commanding personality, and sharp mind.

  • How can a simple game show like this be interesting?! Moorehead was fantastic as an actress and I loved to know about her diamond starburst brooch, RavenGeorge.

  • What's scary is that many of these words could never be used in a game show today because everyone is so dumbed down. In fact, we can't even have word association shows. Say "ermine" to someone on the street and see what happens! Moorehead is a class act, as always.

  • Barry Nelson fom The Shining and Agnes Moorehead from The Magnificent Ambersons. Two amazing Films.

  • Agnes Moorehead is a terrific actress, and she is underrated.

  • @JustJim70118 very VERY underrated i love her to death!!

  • OH my dear friend Agnes! How I adore you!

    r.i.p my sweet!

  • I wonder how Agnes's touchy-feely would go over in contemporary, post-PC society. I think it very charming when a person is like that. It shows confidence and empathy. Lovit!

  • @4:24, to my eye, it looks like Barry Nelson is wearing a "rug". Does anyone know whether he wore toupées? That hair doesn't look real.

  • Wow I was a kid...now much older...Loved her in Bewitched but what a voice she had in radio...have it on CD. Miss performers like her.

  • Yes it's true...AM is my personal Goddess(!) But Mr Nelson is a class act...a lovely dapper Gentleman....practically extinct, sad to say :(

  • Agnes is obviously very smart , and definitely one of the greatest actors ever, but Barry Nelson was no slouch either. And he had a role in a Kubrick film!

  • LOVE Allen Ludden's campy hair-do!

  • I freakin' LOVE Agnes Moorehead!

  • that student looks like he's about 48

  • these are the day's when moviestar's were true moviestar's!!!!!!!! Agnes is God!!!!

  • Were people smarter back then? I had never heard of "ermine"

  • Wow. Look at how everybody is dressed. So elegant ! So classy ! Amazing. They speak so gentle and respectful to each other too. I would go back to the 60's and 70's if I could. I tried twitching my nose and snapping my fingers but... it didn't work.

  • Agnes Moorehead is fabulous! =:D

  • Love the big hair!!!!!!

  • Designing cloths for her children is ...let me modernize this, it's whack!

  • 7:30-7:50 - well, that was strange.

  • Agnes Moorehead on Password! Who would have thought? Just great. Love this.

  • Always loved Agnes Moorehead...and it's great to see Allen Ludden (Password's lont-time host) again! He was such an elegant, handsome gentleman and became even more so as he aged. Had a great wit, as well.

Some of you might know, Mr. Ludden was Betty White's husband until he passed in 1981 (I think it was).

  • simply fierce...Miss moorehead

  • Agnes Moorehead was a long established actress that did feature films and radio before "Bewitched".

  • Its kinda intressting to see Agnes Moorehead without the endora make-up, however witch or no witch she seems to cast a spell over audiences like us. I also have to admit that it was intressting to see some of the morons she got paired with. She was so much smarter than them!

  • Lol, agreed ^_^

  • Thank you so much for posting these. It's very interesting to see Agnes not in a performance piece but as her true self. I just love it when she winks- makes me giggle.

  • thanks for posting this (:

  • Thank you, thank you, thank you RavenGeorge -- and bless your heart. I hope and pray that you, or somebody, are planning to post all five days. Oh please, please, please -- whenever you can. And thank you!!!!

  • Thanks for the thanks:)

GSN is currently in the midst of airing these (in fact the fourth episode is going to play in about an hour and the last one will air a day from now).

But Day 2 is up now:)

  • yeah thanks again for posting them, you've made my day(s) ^_^

  • you are the absolute best!!!!!!!!!!! I thought these shows were lost forever! (and me being only 17....well I never would have gotten the chance to see them! THANK YOU SOOO MUCH!! Where did you find this??

  • ammccoy, I heard that Aggie's week on Password aired last week on the Game Show Network. Some folks must have recorded the five episodes. (I don't have television, myself.)

  • thanks ptourist ^_^ ... unfortunately i'm in the same boat you are concerning the no TV deal :(

  • @ammccoy: The only reason these episodes still exist is that CBS re-edited the final daytime season of the original Password (1967-68) and released it into syndication in the fall of 1968 due to public demand (several collectors and the UCLA archive have unedited episodes on kinescope in their collections from this period).

  • I'm so glad you posted these. I was planning on doing it myself. Nobody compares to Agnes Moorehead. Always the best part of any picture. The best of the best. Thank you so much!!!!! :-)
