  • Emil, I am raising my voice. I am tired of this supposed unquestionable consensus and unilateralism that the UN and others are putting out. There is no consensus. It's come out that the UN's sources are hiding data that doesn't fit the agenda.

I totally agree that we have a lot of work to do with the environment, but all I see in this movement is corporate plutocracy mixed with unelected bureaucracy that is founded on an agenda that has nothing to do with the environment.

  • For those of you with good intention involved in COP15, you need to research the interests and the origins of what you are supporting and transform this into real change to empower people, not set up a new global governmental plutocracy. The following is just a taster...

  • Face it- Think Globally -ACT locally...walk..sue the polluters..like the mercury lite bulb companies..We just cleaned mercury poison from the Great Lakes from the '70's. China- a BIG polluter is using it a s a form of population control...did ya see the water and air there?

  • The leaked emails were enough to tip me over the edge. The whole thing is a fraud and it has been exposed now. The trouble is that so many people have invested so much emotional energy into global warming and they will look so stupid if the accept that the Climate change scam has been revealed. My bet is that they'll just keep on marching and pretend like the leaked emails never happened.

  • Smart people and smart planet. We've got a lot of hope yet, and I see the glass half full.

  • You're a sneaky bastard whose getting backhanders from the UN to push a bogus scam - that's what you are.

Get a real job, you parasite.

  • Copenhagen will be a failure because it based on a false premise. The fraudulent activity of climate scientist, acting as Jesuits, confirmed in THEIR OWN WORDS AND EXPOSED VIA CLIMATEGATE, is nothing more then a 20th century religion, complete with a gaggle simple minded who say "AMEN" at its altar.

Is that the BLOOD OF EAST TIMOR on this guys hands ????

  • Tina kudos to you! I am environmentally active myself as a fisherman. I hate pollution and garbage in our rivers and lakes no doubt. But i see through this global warming scam. You can't fool all the people all the time, thank God for the internet where one can get unbiased news!!

  • Unbiased news in the internet? Good joke! The vital point of global warming is in my opinion not only if it is human made. The question is, what are we destroying through consuming raw materials? What I see: dying animals and people contaminated earth exploitation - less people benefit - more people suffer. if one stops the emission of CO2 and the sensless consume, one can stop injustice. If the governments meet in copenhagen and they reach a settlement they can reach more justice in the world.

  • Well, Copenhagen, I guess its back to the drawing board for you! Maybe you can try for your worldwide takeover again in a couple of years, after the ferver over all those leaked e-mails dies down.

Man-made Climate Change is a FRAUD!

  • Don't tell me... You are an American citizen!

  • Co2 is not a pollutant! Temp rises BEFORE co2 and this probably is a natural cycle cause by the oceans. There has been direct scientific data that shows that sun activity may have a direct impact on global warming and cooling cycles. Water vapor is a biggter greenhouse gas than CO2! Should we start shuttling water off this planet? Sheeple lead yourself to more taxes if you want but my eyes are wide open! this is not a left or right debate its just junk science!

  • See Climate Change Crock of the Week on youtube so that you stop it with the disinformation and making informed people laugh at you!!!!!

  • Captions please....

  • People may or may not be causing climate change, but we CAN do something about it... still, the Earth has had Ice Ages and warm time after that... why can't some people except that it may a natural process? Still, we are making progress in going green and I'm happy about it. =]

  • Tina going green may be a noble cause, i support things like saving the rainforests but crippling our industry and economies in an attempt to stop a temp change of about one degree over a period of 100 years.

The people should not be misled into this but the obsession with the manmade climate myth seems to be doing that.

  • You do have a point. ; )

  • Its not one degree.

  • @truvelocity yes in truth its less. What do u think the whole world going back to the stone age would lead to? How much would the temps rise or stop rising?

  • I do not believe in man made climate change, let us not destroy all our economies for this stupid myth

  • You need to watch, Climate Deniers Crock of the Week. Know what information you are up against so that you don't believe stuff like, Mars is heating up because of the sun so the Earth is too, it was debunked. Or, the clouds reflect the sun so it counter balances CO2, also has been debunked. Climate deniers have a political agenda and then point the finger at scientists who have won the battle long ago on the truth about global warming to keep you uninformed.

  • If every single person on this planet stopped using any energy for a period of a year, what impact would this have on global temps?

I do not deny that climate change is happening, although i have my doubts about the scales some scientists talk of. What i do not accept is that man is primary responsible for the climate changing and that we can actually do something to stop this.

Id rather we spend 10s of billions building sea defences in this country rather than destroying our economy,.

  • Here's a perspective on human activity. When my father was born, there were 2 billion people on Earth, 1930's, at age 70, there were 6 billion people on Earth, a few years ago... Now, there are nearly 7 billion and its going to triple in less than 50 years. HUMAN ACTIVITY. So, what we are doing to resolve this is investing in and utilizing renewable energy. That's not hard to do, its just a matter of getting the greedy to let go of the reins.

  • Thats wonderful i am all for renewable energy. That does not mean we have to stop using resources we currently have and do damage to our country's economy and development.

The western world paying 100s of billions to the east to stop it from the polluting the earth doesnt sound like a very good deal to me. for the sake of 1 degree over a 100 year period? Its pathetic.

Lets invest in better sea and river defences to ensure we do not suffer from climate change rather than try to stop it.
