Some intersting thoughts but mostly this is quite naïve. I agree that there has be a next form a governement, a new stage in the "evolution" of our societies. But The "humanitarian" society you describe is called an utopia. You should read Thomas more's writings and you would know that that can't happen. Even less today. The problem is that you talk about things that some people have spent a life thinking about, people have been there, and have thought it through.
That is not what i am saying :). I don't believe that the impossibility of perfection should prevent us from improving things. I juste believe that because of what men actually are, such a society is an impossible one. But i do believe that we have reached a turning point and that a need for BIG changes is becoming more and more important.
Awesome thought and discourse, I have never heard the idea of the apocalypse put so beautifully, if you can call it that, in both the reality of madness and it eventual outcome...a more humanitarian and loving society. You should write a movie or a novel will allegories to your thoughts here. KEEP IT UP!
The apocalypse you describe could happen very soon and overnight. The advent of peak oil for example has the power to completely overthrow all usual living arrangements and social paradigms of modern societies.
this event that you propose will spontaneously cause people to question their own reality, i call this a moment "of mass appreciation", you described it very well. the next step is to make it happen through the power of chronic meme's... ideas which can propagate themselves... good vid@~!@
So if thats the case the great depression would have been the apocalypse...And your rambling about something that has no basis, since the begining of civilization people have always been certain that the apocalypse was in their generation and it will always be that way..because of false religious indoctrine has taught them to think that way,and thus slows down advancement of the human race...further more I don't think you get the meaning of apocalypse.
The power of ones creation is naturally focused upon their own being, thus one creates for themselves exactly what they desire for others.
One is neither part of the problem nor the solution, one is merely a reaction and a consequence of the situation.
The next step in human social evolution is Cooperatist creating Cooperatism, within the context of individual and group relationship with others and all else, nothing needs to be sacrificed, other than fear.
I believe in the collective un-conchence and I hope the next evolution is the collective conchence. PS sorry again for the spelling im going with semiphonetics
Polarity changes in 2012. Things will change, the earth axis will tilt in the opposite direction this has been scientfically proven we are almost in alignment, the age of aquarius is coming the time of pluto.
I wish society, in this "great change", will regain some of its humanity of caring for one another. What happened to trusting one another and "free love"? What happened to peace? What happened to our society?
Reclaiming power = the ability to live independent of the system, IE self-sufficiency in terms of procuring the basic necessities. Once your survival is dependent on income, you've lost your power.
yep, the expansion of the system makes it harder and harder to live outside of it. oh shoot, i've got to get to work (to pay for all this fun i'm having).

divergence then convergence then divergence then convergence then...
societies started having governmental structures at some point and for the most part this helped the society survive and spread. 6 thousand years down the track and those organised societies have produce good enough technology that governments are no longer a survival advantage.
As the benefits of government gets reduced the draw backs become more and more glaringly obvious. Until it is plain to everyone that we are simply a bunch of people, no one in charge of the other.
Much of an apocalypse here. You've possibly lost the optimistic part of your series - that volume where you envisioned practical activism and changes towards a positive future without catastrophism?
if nobody does anything nothing will ever happen, sure a government overthrow would be nice, but its impractical.
when you see fbi, cia, disney editing wikipedia to change facts for their own agenda, you know how stupid the government really is. they shouldnt be running our country.

yes, all thought is complete, and there is no further need for it. the impossibility of perfection is valid reason for not trying to improve things.

If the magnetic pole reversal continues at the rate it's going, it won't switch for another thousand or couple thousand years.
